About: Hi! I joined Rover because I love dogs but can’t have one of my own yet, and I have a lot of love to share! I’m very active and love to have furry friends join me on long walks up and down the hills of the city and to all our beautiful parks. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, including caring for multiple pets for extended periods of time. Walk and drop-in availability: M-F: evenings after ~5:30! Sat-Sun: anytime! I work a hybrid 9-5 in fidi with a fast commute home to lower pac heights. I’m very active when i’m not working and love having dogs join me on long walks and jogs. I am very responsible and clean, and I will treat every client’s home with the upmost respect. I always prioritize safety and exercise extreme precautions in keeping your pet safe in my care.

About: I’ve had pets for most of my adult life, and currently have a lovely 9 years old dog named Jagger. I already am used to walk her around in NOPA and would love to give company to more for legged friends. I work from home so I can be available easily. As I work from home I can be flexible on local walks and care. This is my side activity and I love animals and enjoy meeting new furry friends. I am a manager for work and I coach kids as a hobby so safety and respect are always a priority to me. I’ll be very careful about special instructions or needs for your animal.
About: Saw my childhood dog through 16 full years of life and dogsat many breeds for family and clients over the last 15 years. Volunteer of 2 years at a senior dog rescue and dog body language and safety trained. Experienced with puppies all the way through seniors with special needs such as vision loss, hearing loss, anxiety and medication administration. Happy to provide further references. Work fully remote and make my own hours, so my schedule is highly flexible and I'm home to give lots of attention during the day. No other pets at home, but female roommates who will give lots of belly rubs. A stone’s throw from Alamo Square dog park and close to Panhandle and Golden Gate Park for plenty of green space. With remote work, I’m happy to house sit if that would make your pet more comfortable.
“Angela has been so wonderful! We have a difficult dog that takes time to warm up to, and Angela has been so patient to get to know him. We are so lucky to have found her!!!”

About: I primarily care for cats, but I’m also comfortable with calm, easygoing dogs. While I don’t have extensive dog-sitting experience, I’m not afraid of dogs and can handle simple routines such as feeding, short walks, basic companionship, and following clear instructions. I’m attentive, patient, and honest about what I can and can’t handle, and I always prioritize safety and clear communication. I am in between jobs, so I would like to spend some time to help you taking care of your pets when you are not available. I care for pets in their own home by following their usual routines as closely as possible. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get appropriate playtime or companionship. I’m especially attentive to cats’ personalities and boundaries, making sure they feel safe and respected. I observe their behavior closely and follow any care instructions carefully.

“Katie was everything we wanted out of a pet sitter. Caring, understanding, flexible, and communicative. She also did a great job caring for our very grumpy cat even when he was being a bit of a jerk to her. Highly recommend!”

“Brittany is so wonderful with my two very playful cats! She is super reliable, providing great updates and pictures. It’s much easier to leave knowing she’s watching my boys!”

About: I have a family dog, a Cockapoo, back home in Ireland and have years of experience helping care for her, including walks, feeding, playtime and lots of attention. I absolutely love dogs and really miss having one around! I’m caring, reliable and attentive, and I’d treat your dog like my own. I’m especially comfortable caring for small dogs and smaller medium-sized breeds. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available for dog sitting on weekends and can sometimes accommodate weekday evenings depending on my schedule. I’m happy to discuss what works best for you and your dog. I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding, walks and house rules. I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, safe and get plenty of attention, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos while they’re in my care.
“Taylor did an amazing job caring for our two very active dogs and on very short notice. We came home and they were happy and clearly had been out and about, which they need! Thank you for your flexibility Taylor!”

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats throughout my life. Recently, I started taking care of some of my friend’s pets and have gained valuable experience through them. I have taken care of cats of all sizes and energy levels, and have taken care of small-medium dogs. I’m currently working a full-time job from 7-4, but can swing before or after work, and during lunch time for an hour to take care of your pet! I am free weeknights after work, as well as on weekends. I can do drop-in care every 4 hours on weekdays, can stay overnight if needed, and/or can stay all day on the weekends. I do not have pets of my own, and live in a studio apartment so if your pet will be at my home, you will not need to worry about another pet being there. I have some plants that can be put away in a safe place if needed. If I will be staying at your home or doing drop-in care, I will make sure to treat it with respect and leave it how it was when I arrived.
About: I was doing Rover in the Washington DC area for a few years and absolutely loved it! I just recently moved to the Bay Area and am ready to pick back up where I left off! Can’t wait to spend time with your doggos :) See schedule below: I work in the office 4 days a week so I am free to walk after from 6-10pm 4 days a week and Friday all day. I’m also free on the weekends for walks, pet sitting, and house sitting! Since I’m new to the city, I love exploring and taking long walks around the local San Francisco neighborhoods and to the nearby parks. The weather has been perfect to get your doggo outside for some exercise and fresh air! I’ve had dogs since I was born and have been helping take care of my (2) family dogs Laila and Colby for as long as I can remember. I’ve also helped out with friends dogs, neighbors dogs, etc. I love dogs and am very patient, active, and fun. I would have one of my own but it’s too expensive right now living in the city. I’m working in the office 4 days and a week and take late night walks to get my steps in and get active outside. I love dogs and started Rover a few years ago on the East Coast. I’d love to have a furry friend to join me on my walks! I live in a one bedroom apartment and would love to have a furry friend to keep me company. I can provide bathroom breaks every few hours, activity time at local parks, lots of cuddles on the couch, and play time at home! I’m flexible to adapt to what the dog needs.
“Denise was an awesome rover - she was able to confirm a sit at the very last minute, sent a ton of pictures, followed instructions well, played with my cat a lot, and was super flexible. Would absolutely have her do drop-ins again!”

“Nicole really went above and beyond caring for our 3 (very needy and attention hungry!) cats. She was easy to communicate with and reliable, but what we appreciated the most was that she spent extra time beyond the minimum required by Rover hanging out with them. She sent plenty of updates with photos and videos letting us know they were in good hands, and even administered oral medication to one of our cats. We will definitely be reaching out to Nicole for future cat sitting as well as recommending her to anyone who needs care for their pets!”

“Mike did a fantastic job carrying for my cat! Really appreciate him coming through when my last sitter canceled on me last minute. Was really attentive and carrying and my cat loved him. Would definitely rebook in the future!”

“Highly recommend Molly to care for your pets! She’s super friendly, attentive to my puppy’s needs, quick with communication, and always available to help out. My puppy Stella absolutely adores Molly, and I know Stella is in good hands with Molly. Will be rebooking with Molly constantly!”

“Trin did an excellent job with 2 drop-in visits to check on my 3 dogs. She was confident and composed managing all 3 dogs and provided timely and detailed updates. Very professional and easy to work with!!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for a long time now. Either taking care of my own dogs or walking and dog sitting neighbors and friends dogs! When I was in college I would volunteer a lot of my time at the humane society and take dogs on walks as well. I currently have a flexible work schedule, so I'd love to spend my time caring for your pets! I'm available Monday through Friday at various times throughout the day and am happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment by following each pet's routine, keeping doors secure, supervising them closely, and ensuring they always have fresh water, exercise, and affection.
About: Growing up, I spent time as the main caretaker and trainer for my family dogs who were both rescues. Having moved to San Francisco seven years ago, I have been caring for neighbors and coworkers dogs from the smallest Maltese, to the largest Great Dane. I currently have a super social Labrador mix who will get along with dogs and cats of any size. I’m here to offer my time because I relate to the struggle of many pet owners when coordinating and planning for vacation; and this makes me a more mindful and proactive caretaker! I’m active and love keeping your pups healthy and in good company. Experienced in handling pups with trauma (not worried about any biters here) and pups who might not get along with other pups. I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays (and offer additional flexibility according to how early you book in advance) so I can keep a keen eye on the animals during the day including playtime and midday walks. Usually I’m awake by 7am and take my own pup for a walk and a meal. During the workday I’m able to monitor the pups. After normal work hours, I take the animals out for fresh air and exercise for both animal and pup. Structured days are healthy days! I’m able to attune to the animals needs during the workday especially if they are boarding at my house. While raising my own dog, I fit in playtime and walks during the day, as well as a minimum of two walks a day.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Western Addition
Paula did a wonderful job looking after our cat while we were away. She sent timely messages and pictures, played with our normally shy cat, and even made sure all was well in our home while we were away. We will certainly contact her again for our next trip.

Janessa was the ultimate cat sitter and was wonderful start to finish. I have an especially anxious cat who doesn't deal with separation well and Janessa was a professional through and through. I appreciated the daily photo dumps and would recommend her to any cat owners in need of a sitter!

Amy was the best cat sitter we could have asked for when we were leaving our son for a week. Our hearts were calmed as soon as we saw how well she got along with Wallace and all the care and love she showed him. Detailed check in messages and a stack of gorgeous photos of our boy every day— we are so grateful for Amy being here for our beloved cat while we were traveling and could not recommend her enough.

Bailey was an awesome sitter! She communicated clearly, took very sweet pictures of Tippy, and always sent updates on how the visits went. You can tell Bailey takes her care seriously. She made sure my place was clean and that Tippy got some good play and attention. I would absolutely recommend Bailey to others.

Miranda was great! My cat Simon just got out of the emergency vet before we had to leave for a trip. Miranda was great at accommodating my lack of service and making sure I knew exactly what was going on with Simon. Simon puked a lot and Miranda cleaned everything up so when I came home I could barely tell Simon got sick. I really appreciated her help!
