About: I've cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors for the past several years, including regularly watching a senior Shih Tzu — administering his medication and adjusting to his slower pace and specific needs. I also help care for my roommate's Blue Heeler, a high-energy breed that requires regular exercise and mental stimulation, so I'm comfortable with active, driven dogs as well as calmer, senior ones. I'm experienced with medical needs, multi-pet households, and adapting my approach to each pet's individual energy level and temperament — whether that means a brisk walk to burn off energy or a slow, patient stroll for an older dog. For medications I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops, and occasional injections as needed. If you have any specific questions regarding your pet's care needs, or more specifics on my experience, please reach out! I work full-time from home, which gives me flexibility to fit walks and visits into my day without needing a rigid schedule. I'm generally available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and can adjust my blocks as needed to accommodate your pet's routine. Thursdays I'm away from home for work, so I'm not available that day. But every other day of the week, there's usually a window that works. I take the time to meet every pet at their own comfort level — whether that means a slow, patient introduction for a shy or anxious animal, or matching the energy of a playful, high-drive dog. I'm respectful of both your pet's routine and your home, and I stay adaptive throughout our time together, adjusting my approach based on what each individual animal needs to feel safe and at ease.

About: Hey there, I'm Lamia! I'm a lifelong animal lover and have cared for cats, dogs, and rabbits for the past 17 years. I grew up with three cats and two bunnies, and walked my neighbors' dogs daily during summers. I currently help care for my family's 12-year-old sweet but anxious cat, Kiwi, whom I adore. I also petsit for a few friends' pets, either through overnight stays or feedings and check-ins. I have lots of experience with various pet personalities, from rambunctious and energetic to anxious and shy. I am patient with animals, and although I love to cuddle and play with those that require more attention, I also know when they need some space or a little time to warm up. I love meeting new pet friends and am looking forward to getting to know your furry family members and giving them the same care, patience, and affection I would give my own. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime and attention or simply someone to keep them company while you're away, I'd be happy to help! I have a flexible work from home schedule, so I can always be attentive with your pets! I love taking taking breaks from my work to play with them and make sure they’re comfortable. I also love going on walks or hanging out at parks, I'd be happy to have a buddy to take with me :) I want pets to feel as comfortable and safe as possible while their owners are away. When caring for a pet in their home, I follow their usual routines as closely as I can, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner! I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would want someone to show my own, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life! Love being around dogs, whether it be playing and running or just chilling on the couch. Recently moved to a place where I can’t have pets, so caring for other people’s fur babies is the next best thing! I work a full time desk job, so I have plenty of energy to play, run around, and be active with dogs throughout the day. They give me an excuse to get away from my desk! Years and years of caring for dogs has given me the experience of identifying the comfort level of animals. I am honest and trustworty. About: I have lots of experience caring for active dogs, including my own rescue pit-mix, Cally. I enjoy long walks in nature and playing with high energy dogs and know first hand how demanding caring for them can be. I would love to help you and your pet in whichever way I can. I have experience with overnight and drop in care for dogs and cats. I know how to make them comfortable and cared for when their family is away. I am also pretty good at teaching old dogs new tricks. I am currently in a full time graduate program. I am free mainly in the evenings after 5pm M-F; all day on weekends. I am happy to do overnight housesitting for you in your home, but I am not able to bring pets to my home for boarding due to the presence of other (prickly) animal friends. If you are out of town, let me take your active dogs on the best weekend of their life. I have rescue experience with my own pit-mix.
