About: Hey, I'm Taylor! Loving animals is not my whole personality, but it's close. I've been taking care of dogs big and small since I was a kid, and done more serious pet sitting and walking for friends & neighbors since 2017. Pictured is Wheezy, the love of my life: a half Boston Terrier half Pitty I rescued around 5 years ago and nursed back to health. Holler with any questions! I am a journalist and work weird hours! Generally available for afternoon and evening walks both week days and weekends on a case by case basis!. I have a fenced garden area where my pup loves to tromp around. I also live very close to Alamo Square Park, where we love to walk and play if you're comfortable with your pup being social. I've trained Wheezy to return when off-leash but never let other pups off leash without owner permission. In the home, I've got a large crate if needed.

“Fa was amazing! She took such good care of my cat Anabel and is clear she loves and understands cats. I was so grateful for the peace of mind offered by having someone like Fa watching my girl.”

About: I spent eight years as a veterinary assistant and now share my home with a 14-year-old blind Parson Russell Terrier who needs daily medical care. I’ve owned JRTs my whole adult life. Senior dogs, high energy dogs, dogs with health conditions: I’m familiar and comfortable with them. I’m a runner and active walker, and currently have time in my schedule to walk or drop in for pets in my vicinity (Alamo Square and surrounding areas). I am a creative/tech professional currently transitioning into independent consulting/project-based work. This gives me a highly flexible, self-managed schedule, meaning I am home most of the day and can provide your pet with consistent companionship and a structured routine. I am blocks from Alamo Square, and other parks in NOPA, Panhandle, Lower Pac Heights, and Western Addition. I love getting steps in and can take it easy for seniors or get some beans out for the energetic ones. I also have a fenced backyard if needed.

“Katie was wonderful with our two cats over Christmas. It was very difficult with the storms, but once those cleared it was smooth sailing! She took good care of Jojo’s eyes and medicine. We were a little worried at first about his eye care since she had beautiful long nails art, but she really found a way to clean his eyes well and give eye drops! Thank you, Katie!”

“Incredibly grateful to Maria for her help watching my girls while I was away for a couple of days — she stayed at my place and sent daily updates/was extremely prompt with answers and overall very helpful/friendly. Definitely will reach back out to her again if I need someone to watch my two cats again !!”

About: I love cats! I grew up with dogs, so cats were an acquired taste for me in adolescence but it’s a cautious friendship that has turned into a life-long love. We now have multiple cats with every one of my siblings - Marcello, Luna, Gizmo, Potato, and Rhino - and I cannot imagine life without them!
“Katherine took such good care of my kittens during her stay! She followed all the instructions and sent me daily updates with cute pics and funny anecdotes of what shenanigans the kittens were up to which always brought a smile to my face. She also left the place sparking clean! Would highly recommend her to cat sit your fur babies 😻”

“Sue has taken care of our four kitties several times. She consistently follows our instructions with care, communicates quickly, sends wonderful photos during each visit, and gives our fur babies love while we’re away! We also appreciate her flexibility including taking care of our kitties when we have to go away on short notice. Thank you, Sue!”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and have been dog sitting for the past year, so I have plenty of experience. I work from home, which gives me flexibility for multiple walks and attention throughout the day. I’m home all day and live very close to Alamo Square Park so dog sitting/going for walks fits into my schedule super naturally on a daily basis. I don't have a private yard as I live in an apartment, but other than that it's very safe and a perfect space for a small or medium-sized dog. My apartment would unfortunately be too small for a large dog.

“Mya did a great job taking care of our cat Gigi while we were away! Our cat is very shy around new people and this is our first time using Rover, so I figured she would probably hide from Mya. To my surprise she seemed to warm up to her quickly. We really appreciate her ability to make Gigi feel comfortable, as well as her flexibility!”

“Angela is responsive, reliable, and did a fantastic job looking after our kitty for 2 weeks. She communicated well and followed the specific care instructions without any issues. Ollie seemed happy and loved when we got back from our trip!”

I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and creating a calm, safe environment for them.

“I am so grateful that I found Mengying!! She was so warm and loving with my poodle - my dog instantly ran to her the first time they met. I’m typically very anxious to leave my dog with new sitters (especially since we just moved to SF) but I Would 100% rebook consistently.”

“Kelvin is VERY affectionate and caring towards all the pups he takes care of! My dog loves going to Kelvins and whines when it's time to leave ("grandparents syndrome"!!) He takes several pics, spend alot of time at the parks and walking the dogs. I highly recommend Kelvin to anyone needing either long-term or short-term care.”

“Diana did a wonderful job with Cooper! She went above in taking care of him and was flexible when we needed to adjust the drop off time. Most importantly Cooper loved her as well and had a great time during his day care days there. We love getting tons of pictures when we’re apart from Cooper and Diana was happy to provide lots. “I couldn’t be more grateful to have found such a wonderful puppy sitter! Kellie has a genuine love and deep understanding of animals, which shines through in the way she cares for my puppy, Charlie. From the moment they met, she connected with him, and now he’s always excited when it’s time for daycare. She’s incredibly caring, responsible, and always on top of things. I completely trust her to care for my pup while I’m at work all day — that peace of mind is priceless. Her communication is excellent, she keeps me updated, and she’s always punctual and dependable. “My little boy had a really good experience at Vy's place. He got to play with Vy & Sean's dog all day, got his exercise in the yard, and did all his business while I was at work. Vy sends pics and update throughout the day, which I appreciated since seeing my dog happy and comfortable gave me peace of mind. We will definitely work with Vy and Sean again in the future.”

About: I grew up with three golden retrievers, so I’m very used to zoomies, big personalities, and a little bit of chaos (in the best way). I loved every second of it. I’ve handled everything from long walks and endless games of fetch to feeding, baths, vet visits, and teaching basic commands. About: I’m a 42-year-old gay dog lover who recently said goodbye to my own pup after 13 incredible years together. Caring for my dog has always been one of the best parts of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know every breed, quirk, zoomie level, and cuddle style out there. Pet care has been part of my daily routine for years. I recently lost my dog after 13 wonderful years together, and before that we took at least three walks a day — everything from quick neighborhood strolls to longer adventures exploring different parts of San Francisco together. I genuinely miss having a little shadow by my side, so caring for and walking dogs still feels like a natural and meaningful part of my everyday life. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, energy, and favorite routines. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in both my home and theirs. I follow each dog’s routine closely — including walks, feeding, medications, playtime, and cuddle preferences — while giving them plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and calm energy. I also love sending photo updates so owners know their pups are happy and well cared for.

“Javier was absolutely fantastic with my blind and leash-reactive Winnie. During walks, he took steps to prevent her from lunging at other dogs and eating food refuse on the ground - both of which are very hard to do. He is very knowledgeable about dogs, and it is obvious that he loves them a great deal. He is also extremely caring, responsible, respectful, and trustworthy. There is no one I would trust more to care for my dog.”

“Valentina walked my dog Marly for a whole week while my foot was sprained. She was exceptionally amazing, helped me out by putting on his harness, and went above and beyond to assist me while I couldn’t walk. She always responded quickly and was on time for all the walks. And she was very very sweet to Marly and took care of him. I would recommend her 10/10. Thank you Valentina”

I’m familiar with administering medication, catering to restrictive diets, routine walks and much more! Caring for my own dogs as well as for others has always been a positive experience for me and I would love to share these positive experiences with the community. You can truly tell how much she loves what she does. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker and will 100% be booking with Yeji again. Highly, highly recommend!”

Kara was prompt and responsive in setting up a meet & greet where she got to talk with us and get to know Petunia a little bit. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! Kara was great about sending updates and photos and made us feel secure, at ease and able to enjoy our time away. Cannot recommend them enough 🐶😁”

“Fantastic experience, great communication, and very convenient to work with. Nero was immediately comfortable with her which is unusual, so definitely a huge plus. Overall, definitely will want to work with Kimberly again!”

“This was Oscar’s second stay with Victoria, and once again she took such great care of him. She kept me updated throughout his stay with regular messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. I’m really grateful for how attentive and thoughtful she is, and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Oscar with her again.”

“Ellen did a fantastic job watching our pup for the weekend. She sent updates and pictures throughout and was extremely responsive. Would absolutely recommend and trust Ellen!”

About: I have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. I walk our family’s senior dog daily, taking him through the neighborhood parks and on beach walks at Crissy Field. I also walk my aunt’s golden when I visit and have experience walking a neighbor’s small dog when they were out of town. I have fostering experience, having cared for a two year old German Shepherd for two months. During that time, I took her on daily walks, administered her medicine, and helped her socialize with other dogs. I also fostered a nine week old puppy for two weeks, providing weekly baths with her special shampoo to address her skin condition. My background includes caring for dogs at different life stages and handling special needs, making me a reliable and compassionate caregiver for your furry family members. Pet care is a fundamental part of my daily routine. I walk our senior family dog at least once a day, typically in the morning or midday, and again in the evening or at night. These walks help ensure he gets regular exercise and companionship, fitting seamlessly into my daily schedule. I have a small backyard where pets can enjoy some outdoor time. Additionally, I have a friendly senior golden retriever who can keep your dog company and provide socialization and comfort. My approach to pet care, prioritizes, safety, trust, and creating a calm environment, whether in my home or yours.
“Molly and Stephen did a wonderful job taking care of my senior Lab during his overnight stay. Even though he’s older, he still has plenty of energy, and they balanced his need for comfort and activity. They made sure he was cozy in his bed at night, let him enjoy their lovely backyard for breaks, and took him on a fun “sniff-rari” walk in the morning. When we picked him up, he looked happy, relaxed, and well cared-for. I really appreciate the thoughtful attention they gave him during his short stay!”

“Cali stayed with Daniel for one night. She was comfortable with him immediately (which is rare) and seemed to have a good time! Daniel was easy to communicate with and very fast to respond”

“We absolutely love leaving our dog with Katie! We can tell she really treats her like part of the family and she always sends pics of them having fun. So grateful for Katie!”

“We were very happy with how Mikele took care of our 50 pound shepherd mix, Naomi. Naomi had been a stray in a rural area when we adopted her and she sometimes becomes fearful while walking on city streets. Mikele, who was only cares for one dog at a time, was able to keep her calm and entertained. We would definitely use Mikele again.”

“Carlotta is freaking fantastic! My dog Obi came back so happy and it was clear that she got a ton of love and attention. Carlotta stayed in constant contact with us and asked us a ton of questions about her behavior and needs, which us put at ease. I will absolutely trust Carlotta to take care of Obi again in the future. So glad I found her!”
