Although our kitty has trust issues and wouldn't let Genna pet her, Genna let her proceed at her own pace, offerring a comforting presence which eventually meant our kitty quit hiding when Genna arrived. We got pictures and commentary every day to let us know how it was going, and she was very accommodating if I had a special request. So glad we found Genna and I felt very comfortable that Genna had the experience, skills, and caring attitude to take care of our baby for over the 2 wks we were away. About: I've had dogs in my life since childhood and can't imagine life without them. Growing up, I was the designated dog walker and trainer for my family’s rescue dog Nori, a sweet, 75-pound Great Pyrenees/Black Lab mix. Now I have Milo, a friendly and energetic mini Poodle mix that I adopted as a puppy. Thanks to Nori and Milo, I have experience taking care of dogs throughout their lifespans—from training and playing with them during their younger years to administering medication and making them comfortable during their older years. I've also been walking and taking care of other pups in Russian Hill for the past several years. Whether your dog is eager to go for a long walk or needs someone to come by, feed them, and keep them company at home, I'll make sure they're comfortable, safe, and happy. As a part-time global health consultant, I work from home on a highly flexible schedule. I'm available throughout the week to provide dog walks or mid-day drop-in visits around Russian Hill and the surrounding area. I offer drop-in visits at your home, walks around the neighborhood, or—if your dog likes to socialize—trips to the dog park. About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of young puppies as well as my parents’ 16-year-old dog. I’ve also been walking dogs for several years and have yet to meet a dog I don’t love. I really miss being around my parents’ dogs in Ohio, so I love getting to spend time with other people’s pets. I am very patient with animals and will always make sure they get the care they need. I’m work a remote job 6-2 pm. I’m available in the afternoon for a walk, am able to work anywhere if your pet needs care all day long, and am available in the evening as well. I will love your pets as my own. I am very organized and responsive, as well as patient and proactive. I want to make sure to do whatever I can to make your pets feel comfortable and happy.

“I will book Avery again and again for sitting needs and highly recommend for the best care of your pets too! I was actually lucky enough to have Avery cat sit for my bud Midnight when we needed it most. It’s the worst case scenario but while sitting Midnight had a medical incident that was purely a result of his age. Avery called me and I was with her over FaceTime as she talked to him, comforted him, and loaded him to go to the vet. It’s a scary situation and was so thankful for her care while I was away. For someone to be so sweet and organized and caring in a situation like that I’m so so grateful. Not to mention the oh so happy pictures of the treats and pets while she was checking in!
