“Gaby and Juan were great! They showed up on time, followed all instructions, and were very kind with our shy boy. They also provided cute updates and photos. Would definitely use them again!”

“Polina is great! So sweet with my super shy puppy and even stayed longer than planned to get him comfortable with her. She’s very communicative and showed up right on time. We hope she’ll come back again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and you’ll always find me on the floor at gatherings, hanging with the dogs. Big, small, young, old, if it has paws, I’m in. I’d love to give your pup the best day (or days) ever! I work from home as a freelance art director, so my schedule is flexible and pet-friendly. This means your pup gets tons of attention, walks, and company throughout the day. I’m available for boarding all days of the week. Bonus: Art Director means you’ll get plenty of free glamour shots of your dog 🤳🐕 I treat every dog like they’re my own. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood perfect for regular breaks and comfy walks. I don’t have pets at home, so your dog gets one-on-one care, and I can crate them if needed.

About: I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends, family, and coworkers, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. Whether your pup loves long walks and playtime or your cat prefers quiet companionship, I treat every pet like family. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and special requests, always making sure water bowls are full and your furry friend is comfortable and happy. I’m happy to provide plenty of exercise, playtime, cuddles, and treats (with your approval, of course!), and I love keeping pet parents updated with photos and messages so they can enjoy peace of mind while they’re away. My goal is simple: to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for in the comfort of their own home. ❤️ I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting on weekdays and weekends. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or overnight companionship, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and provide the love, attention, and exercise they need. I also welcome last-minute bookings whenever possible. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests, always making sure water bowls are full and your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m happy to provide treats with your approval and can accommodate your pet’s favorite snacks and routines. Whether I’m visiting your home or staying overnight, my goal is to create a calm, loving environment and give you peace of mind through regular updates, photos, and messages.

About: Hi, I’m Melissa! I’ve lived in North Beach for two years now and honestly, I think I spend more time greeting the neighborhood dogs than the people. I grew up in a house full of pets (everything from frogs to 60 lb pit-mixes), so a home doesn't quite feel right without a wagging tail. I currently work from home, which means I have plenty of flexibility to give your pup my full attention. Whether it’s a high-energy trek around Washington Square Park or a slow, senior-paced stroll through the neighborhood, I’m your girl. My family dog back home, Maddie, is a 12-year-old ball of energy who taught me everything I know about handling strong, enthusiastic walkers. Whether it’s a small dog with a big personality or a large, high-energy breed like the pit mixes I grew up with, I’m comfortable and confident handling dogs of every size and temperament. I’m big on routine, plenty of treats, and even more dog hugs. I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! Since I work remotely with a very flexible schedule, I’m able to make your pet’s care a natural part of my day. I’m wide open in the afternoons and weekends for long, leisurely walks or extended play sessions. Whether it’s a high-energy fetch session at Washington Square Park or just hanging out at home for some midday company, I have the time and flexibility to ensure your pet never feels lonely or restless. Safety is my top priority, and I treat your home and pets with the same care I give my own. When I’m with your dog, they have my full attention. Whether we’re hanging out while I work or exploring North Beach. I’m a firm believer in 'leash-only' walks and always keep a respectful distance from other dogs unless I know yours is a social butterfly. I stick strictly to your feeding and medication schedules (no table scraps, no exceptions!) to ensure their routine stays perfectly intact while you’re away.
About: I've taken care of animals for nearly my entire life. I grew up with dogs - black labs and a golden retriever, and a rescue cat! Right now, you can find me taking care of my cat, Bailey! I currently work full time, but am available each weekend as well as every Friday for dog-walking and dog-sitting. I love being active, and would love to have a dog with me to do it! Because I grew up with big dogs, I feel comfortable taking care of dogs of all sizes. I can crate your dog, walk your dog on a leash, and make sure they don't get into anything they shouldn't!
About: Hi, I'm Femke. A lifelong animal lover, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for friends, family, and neighbors for almost a decade. What started as a hobby quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not doing. Now, I’m excited to turn my passion for dogs into a full-time career, preparing for a degree in Cynology (dog behavior) next year. With hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve developed a calm, patient, and intuitive approach. I’ve walked high-energy pups who need structure and stimulation, cared for seniors who require slower walks and medication, and provided companionship to anxious or shy dogs who just need someone gentle and understanding. I’m confident in handling leash reactivity, administering basic medications, and keeping routines consistent to help dogs feel safe and secure. My focus is always on building trust, so your dog feels comfortable with me, and fully enjoys the time we spend together. I’m studying part-time to prepare for my Cynology (dog behavior) degree next year, and have no other major commitments - your dog gets my full attention. My days revolve around walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, so I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and (most) holidays. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I take the time to build trust with each dog, starting with a meet-and-greet to understand their routines, triggers, and preferences. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses and stick to safe, familiar routes. I will not do off-leash unless in client-approved spaces and with your explicit consent. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain your routines, respect your space, and provide real-time updates with photos and notes, so you’re always in the loop. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your dog(s) the care and companionship they deserve.
“Kayla is a wonderful cat sitter! She cleans up and communicates everything so I’m always in the know. I also love that she send pics of my cats while I am away. Thank you, Kayla!”

About: My name is Nicole. I’ve been a registered nurse for 12 years and I recently lost my family dog, Jasper. I am not ready for another best friend, but I do have a lot of love to give to yours. I currently work night shift, one night per week. I am able to visit your residence at your specified time/s. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around yours and your pet. I am able to check-in, feed, change water, tidy after #1 and #2, and whatever is discussed and arranged. I can pick up mail and packages and bring them inside as well.
“Sebastian was great to work with! They were super nice, great communicator, and did a thorough job every visit. I will definitely be reaching out to them again for future trips.”

“Sarah has been such a wonderful dog caretaker for my pup! She is incredibly attentive and always makes sure to spend quality time playing and giving lots of belly rubs, which my dog absolutely loves. I really appreciate how efficient and thoughtful she is during her drop-in visits, especially when it comes to taking my senior dog out for a potty break. Sarah is genuinely kind and caring, and it shows in how excited my dog gets to see her each week. It gives me peace of mind, knowing my pup is in such good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog walker.”

About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with pets and has a little black cat at home. I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.
About: I had a dog growing up as a child and have taken care of my friends dogs numerous times. I also volunteer at the SFSPCA and play/walk with all the pups there. I currently have two lovely cats and hope to adopt a dog again once I have a home with outdoor space! I am currently taking a career break from the corporate life to explore my passions and see what may inspire me in the future. Therefore, I have plenty of time to take care of your babies 😊 My cats are strictly indoor only as I feel this is the safest way to take care of cats (especially in a city). I do take my cats out on a leash at the park occasionally for outdoor time. I think it’s important for all cats to get playtime on a daily basis, snuggles (if they like that), and of course their feeding/hygiene routine. I brush my cats every 2 days. I am equipped to adapt to your cats routines.

About: I love dogs and have a cockapoo of my own called Ah Chu. I have been taking care of him for over a year since he was a puppy. I will treat your baby like mine. My schedule is flexible so feel free to let me know when and how I can help in advance or on the same day. Meet and greet will help me to understand how to best care for your baby. For drop in visits, we will arrange meet and greet first to understand how your baby would like to play, frequency to go potty, number of snack breaks, or any other needs. I will follow the instructions strictly and provide updates.
“Kevin is incredibly professional, thoughtful and thorough. He took the time to learn about our pets, their needs and our questions/concerns. I highly recommend Kevin!”

About: e grown up with dogs my whole life and consider them part of the family. I love being around dogs and have experience house-sitting, walking, and caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable handling different energy levels and individual needs, and I always make sure dogs feel safe, cared for, and loved while in my care. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine and something I genuinely enjoy. I have a golden retriever puppy, and since I grew up with dogs, caring for him feels very natural to me. Every day starts and ends with walks, and throughout the week I make sure he gets plenty of exercise and socialization by taking him to the dog park regularly. At home, we spend a lot of time playing tug-of-war or fetch to keep him active and engaged. Because he has a sensitive stomach, I also prepare fresh homemade meals for him twice a day, so meal prep is built into my routine as well. One of my favorite parts of the day is winding down in the evening by cuddling up with my pup and reading a good book. Overall, caring for him is woven into both my daily schedule and the way I like to relax and spend my time. I am going back to school in the fall and do not currently work so my schedule is extremely flexible to take care of your pups :) I provide a safe, attentive, and loving environment for pets in both my home and my client’s home. In my home, pets have access to a secure fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, play, and exercise. I also have a friendly golden retriever puppy who enjoys being around other dogs, but I can easily separate him if a pet prefers their own space or needs a calmer environment. I stick closely to each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I have experience caring for dogs with sensitive stomachs, so I’m comfortable preparing fresh meals, following dietary restrictions, and administering basic care as needed. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection so they feel comfortable and cared for while away from their owners. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their familiar routine and environment. I provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, cleanup, and lots of companionship, while also treating the home respectfully and keeping owners updated with messages and photos.
“Gapilan was super communicative and was willing to do a meet and greet ahead of time. He was excellent with my two dogs and very attentive to their specific needs. He shared updates from the walk and also afterwards. Would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thank you 🙏🏽”

About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of young puppies as well as my parents’ 16-year-old dog. I’ve also been walking dogs for several years and have yet to meet a dog I don’t love. I really miss being around my parents’ dogs in Ohio, so I love getting to spend time with other people’s pets. I am very patient with animals and will always make sure they get the care they need. I’m work a remote job 6-2 pm. I’m available in the afternoon for a walk, am able to work anywhere if your pet needs care all day long, and am available in the evening as well. I will love your pets as my own. I am very organized and responsive, as well as patient and proactive. I want to make sure to do whatever I can to make your pets feel comfortable and happy.
“I will book Avery again and again for sitting needs and highly recommend for the best care of your pets too! I was actually lucky enough to have Avery cat sit for my bud Midnight when we needed it most. It’s the worst case scenario but while sitting Midnight had a medical incident that was purely a result of his age. Avery called me and I was with her over FaceTime as she talked to him, comforted him, and loaded him to go to the vet. It’s a scary situation and was so thankful for her care while I was away. For someone to be so sweet and organized and caring in a situation like that I’m so so grateful. Not to mention the oh so happy pictures of the treats and pets while she was checking in! Should have left this review a while ago :) thank you Avery!”

Samantha is a true kitten whisperer and Rover pro! At first, we were nervous to leave our brand new kitten for 3 days… but after meeting Samantha, we immediately knew he was in GREAT hands and our nerves were completely settled the entire weekend away. Samantha was easy to book with, had no trouble accessing our building, and quickly picked up on where his food was and any other details she needed. She was incredibly communicative and she sent us many adorable photos and videos each visit and gave us a full intro and recap of the day. She really knocked it out of the park for us and we will be using Samantha again!!!

Last minute, my cat had emergency surgery before a huge work weekend for me. Thankfully, Sue was available to assist. It was easy to trust her with him as she’s been my go-to sitter for a few years. I was so happy she was available because I knew he’d be in great hands during his recovery while I was away. I’m so grateful for her time, help, and support. She’s the best! TYSM, Sue! 💚

I couldn’t ask for a more caring, responsible person to care for our three cats while we were away. She provided for their diverse feeding requirements, got to be friends and played with them every visit, reported on what she and the cats did, and sent us photos after each visit. An outstanding person. You can unreservedly trust your cats with her.
She was amazing (and my cat agrees)! She kept me updated on everything she noticed, including eating habits and litter box activity, and consistently sent great photos and videos. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter. My cat will miss her for sure.
