About: I am reliable, loving and fun! I I will care for them as I would my own. I am the trusted sitter of most of my friends and family and love all the pets I am fortunate to have in my life! I pet sit on the weekends and on week days in the summer. I can taylor my schedule to meet the needs of your pet(s). I keep my pet care on a schedule. Pets feel more comfortable when they know what to expect and when. Even though cats are independent, they love and need human interaction. So, quality time, feeding, brushing, walking times are all on a schedule. It is easier for me that way as well.

About: I grew up caring for hamsters and have also spent a lot of time helping take care of my girlfriend’s dogs. I’ve gone on multiple hikes with them, washed and groomed them, and dog sat for them a few times. I also help a friend with their doggy daycare business by walking dogs, feeding them, watching over them, and spending time keeping them comfortable and happy. I am currently working part time but I'm available most afternoons and Fridays to come out and walk your dog. My schedule is pretty flexible so I am happy to discuss anytime that may work best for you. As a dog walker, I will make sure to cater to your dog's specific needs by making sure to keep a good pace while letting them explore the world (or in this case the neighborhood). I will also follow any and all directions you may have before and after caring for your dog!

I have cared for multiple pets, each requiring a different approach. One of the Persian cats I looked after was 19 years old and needed special care. I had to prepare specific meals, make sure fresh water was always available, and assist him when he needed help getting to and from the litter box because of his age. For the Exotic Shorthair and Tabby cats I cared for, keeping their environment clean and making sure their litter boxes were well maintained was especially important. I also spent time playing with them and giving them attention so they felt comfortable and secure.💕 I have also cared for a dog who had unfortunately been abandoned three times in the past and struggled with anxiety. Whenever his owners left the house, he would cry loudly and become distressed. 😔The most important thing for him was reassurance, patience, and helping him understand that he wasn’t alone. Seeing him calm down and feel safe was incredibly rewarding.🐶❤️ Through these experiences, I learned that there is no single way to care for animals. Every pet has different needs, routines, and emotions. Once I understand what makes your pet comfortable and happy, I adapt and do my best to provide the care and attention they deserve.🙏🏻

I have a backyard on the ground level so if hosting a senior dog, they won't have to use the stairs.

About: I'm a work-from home writer and editor seeking pups who like walks on the beach, trips to the dog park, play in the back yard, and flops on the couch. I share my spacious one-bedroom apartment with The Governor, a one-eyed Italian Greyhound and Bobcat, a 12-year-old Cornish Rex cat (so if your dog hates cats, you'll probably want to pass on us). We'd love to have your dog join us (well not the cat) for on-leash walks on nearby Ocean Beach, trips to the dog park (Golden Gate Park and Stern Grove are our jams, but we're happy to drive to your pup's fave park), visits to my good-sized back yard (great for dogs with shy, frequent, or reluctant bathroom habits), and naptime on the couch or in bed (the cat will be back for that part). Since I work from home, I'm always here to make sure no one gets in trouble, and that everyone gets plenty of fresh air and exercise. When I do leave (rare), I have a great online security system I use to keep a remote eye on activities, so I can peek at your dog from my phone no matter where I am to make sure no shenanigans are afoot. I also have solid baby gates and rooms with doors for any dogs who need a little private time, all in dog-proofed and friendly rooms. I also have a car, so if there's ever a serious issue (knock on wood that there will not be!) I can get any distressed animals to the hospital of your choice in a flash. When we're at the beach and park, I also tag every guest dog with Tile, a temporary gps tool that lets me track any escapees in a flash. Though I'd never take your dog off-leash at the park or the beach, and I've never had a runaway, I still believe that it's far better to be safe than sorry, right? Most recently, I had a dachshund/black lab rescue for over a decade, cared for a 17-year-old chihuahua in the last years of his life,and currently have an Italian Greyhound bossing me around. About my yard I have a 25x25 back yard that's a mix of garden, undeveloped dirt/growth, and plants and trees. It's an ongoing project. My experience administering medication Yes. I've given subcutaneous fluids, pills, and liquid meds to many dogs. As a writer, I work from home and set my own schedule, so I have the flexibility to walk, play with, or just flop with your pets. I have a fenced in yard and several separate rooms to allow for separation between any pets that need it. I also own my own car, so I can quickly ferry any pets in distress to an ER vet, if needed.
