1. Volodymyr D.
“We’ve been using Volodymyr for a few weeks now and he’s been great ! We’ve got a 13 year old chihuahua and an 8yr old staffy. He sends updates, a photo or two from the walk and any important info. Look forward to keeping him on, the dogs love him :)”
2. Tobin K.
“Tobin was great! He went out of his way to help walk Otto, and was attentive to our instructions especially for a big German shepherd who’s a bit reactive on leash. As someone who is very anxious about leaving her pet behind, Tobin made our trip much easier !”
3. Regina G.
“Regina was a great help to me when I had a busy work week! She was very communicative and Biscuit really enjoyed her walks to the park every day. Will definitely book again!”
4. Sydney I.
“After a few months of having trouble finding a reliable person to care for my senior pup, I found Syd through this app. She came on board a couple weeks ago and is doing an amazing job. She is reliable, always on time, and we had some really crappy weather this week and she still showed up. She is communicative and always fills out his report card and uploads cute pics. I'm so happy to have Sydney caring for Charlie and knowing he's getting the loving attention he needs while I'm away from him at work. Highly recommend her!”
5. Omar S.
“Omar has been my dog walker for a few weeks and he is reliable, a great communicator, and would recommend him to anyone. My dog Lincoln loves spending time with Omar and his pup Kai.”
6. Sam H.
“Sam adores every dog he works with. His patience and understanding of animals makes him a perfect caregiver for any breed, age, or temperament of dog. I would highly recommend him for any service you require! :)”
7. Adrienne P.
“Adrienne is prompt and kind to my baby. He's a pretty picky dog, and he's warmed up to her. She really makes an effort to be in tune with what he wants, which I appreciate!”
8. Eva M.
About: Hi, I'm Eva and I am currently a junior in college! Growing up, I've always had pets, and I currently have two dogs! I'm comfortable in dealing with all kinds of different needs, and personalities your pet may have! I am experienced in administering oral medications and providing care for pets with medical requirements. I will be sure to send lots of photos, as I understand how hard it can be to be far from your pets! Currently I am a college student and I work part time. However I will have a more open availability in the summer, even after the fall semester starts I will still be available :) I like to maintain a tidy and secure environment, and am comfortable following any specific instructions you provide regarding care for your pet and for your home.
9. Terry A.
“Terry is amazing with dogs! He's been a good friend of mine for a while, and one weekend I needed him to watch my small schnauzer, Egg. Egg can be kind of nervous and finicky at times, so I was worried about if he would be too much work. Terry really stepped up to the task though -- it's like he has a natural knack for pooches! I have never seen Egg get friendly with somebody so fast!!! Terry made sure my little guy was walked frequently, fed regularly, and even took him to the dog park a few times to socialize. I was really satisfied with his dog skills and would highly recommend him!!!”
10. Riley C.
“Riley is great with animals! I have been trusting him to take care of my senior Bichon for 3 years now. He’s always gentle with him and makes sure he is well fed and taken care of. When he would do doggy boarding when we’re on vacation, Spot would come home freshly clean! Spot has grown to trust Riley like family as well. Great choice as a compassionate person towards animals.”
11. Carol & William Y.
About: We are a semi-retired couple who have lived in San Francisco for the last 40+ years. Our last dog who had a lot of health issues and required hand feeding and medications passed away recently in April. We decided to join Rover for healing and the opportunity to give undivided attention in taking care of other dogs. We are patient, caring and experienced dog owners, so your dog will feel right at home at our place. At our home, we often have our daughter’s rescued dog over to keep us company these days. We want to spend quality time with your dog(s) so will limit our home for one family or three dogs for day care and boarding. We both work remotely at home so we’ll always be around to look and pamper your dog. We’re also quite active and will take the dogs out for long walks at least twice a day. Depending on the service, we will not let your dog out unleashed and will read your instructions carefully to ensure your dog is well looked after.
12. Amy L.
About: I have several years of experience tending to the dogs of family, friends, and coworkers, working with canines of all ages and sizes. I welcomed my own puppy into my life one year ago and have gained some training experience in the process. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine. I prioritize their well-being by ensuring they receive regular meals, exercise, and attention. I also maintain a consistent schedule for walks and playtime, which helps create a structured and fulfilling environment for them. This approach not only nurtures their physical health but also strengthens our bond through regular interactions and affection. The way I care for pets in my home or a client's home varies based on the specific service being offered: Drop-In Visits: During drop-in visits to a client's home, I ensure their pets have everything they need. This includes refilling food and water dishes, taking them for a walk or letting them out in the yard, cleaning litter boxes, and providing companionship and playtime. I also administer any necessary medications if required. Dog Walking: When offering dog walking services, I ensure that each walk is a safe and enjoyable experience for the dog. I follow the owner's guidelines regarding route, duration, and any specific instructions. My goal is to provide exercise, mental stimulation, and positive social interactions, making each walk a pleasant break in the dog's day.
13. Sonia Y.
“Sonia is a pet sitter I use often when I go out of town. I have an older Beagle that needs routine care and medicine. Sonia has shown me she is caring of my dog while away and follows my special care needs so I feel stress free while I am gone. I also have a chinchilla which easily get stressed with new people and he has shown to enjoy her company while I am gone. I recommend Sonia to take care of loved pets as she treats them like her own.”
14. Jessica L.
“She was fantastic with my pup! she was very patient with my lil guy. I was also figuring out the rover app and transitioning to working with a walker and she was very patient.”
15. Reba C.
“Reba did a fantastic job with my big, energetic dog! She sent me great updates and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my pup was in good hands. Thank you again!”
16. Emily L.
“Emily is a dog whisperer. Of course she's compassionate, kind, and loving with all dogs, but that's a given for a good dog sitter. Emily is unique in that she can adapt to any dog's personality in order to better connect with them. I've seen her interact with many dogs, but the one that really comes to mind was a 60-pound rescue dog with no training whatsoever. He was incredibly strong, had endless energy, and loved to bite. After just a few weeks of training with Emily, he was listening carefully to her commands and eager to please. She really has a way with dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages.”
17. Francis G.
“Francis was very easy to work with. They followed the guidelines for the dogs well, and provided timely and effective communication. I'm looking forward to future bookings 👍🏽”
18. Marina L.
About: My family has always had dogs. I got a pup on my own in 2020. She's taught me how to accommodate a dog in an apartment. I connect with dogs very well. I'm attuned to their signals and needs. I strive to provide compassionate and attentive care to your fur baby. I work from home full-time. I am able to arrange my schedule so that I can take your fur baby on a long walk (~1hr) + 2-3 potty breaks, + do a few play sessions with them, as needed. I have doggie ramps and steps for dogs with long ramps, so no jumping off couches and beds. I live close to the Golden Gate Park, it's super dog-friendly. I'll take you fur baby there and will let them play offleash in fenced designated areas only.
19. Dionie M.
“I cannot recommend Dionie highly enough! For an entire time of the booking, he walked my dog twice a day, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My dog, who can be a bit picky with new people, immediately warmed up to him. Each walk was timely, and I could tell from my dog's happy demeanor that they enjoyed every moment. Dionie was incredibly professional, always providing updates and photos, which put my mind at ease knowing my furry friend was in good hands. He went above and beyond to ensure my dog had plenty of exercise, playtime, and even some extra love and attention. If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and friendly dog walker, look no further than Dionie. I will definitely be booking him again in the future!”
20. Michelle K.
About: I am passionate about being a sitter for dogs and cats because I am very caring, and nurturing, ensuring each pet feels cherished and secure. Pets are considered family, and I give them lots of love and attention. I have raised my Australian Shepherd since he was an 8-week old puppy, so I am very familiar with dog training, providing playtime, and ensuring both mental and physical activities to keep them happy and healthy. I pay close attention to their needs, demands, and behavioral differences, providing tailored care and understanding. With experience in administering medication and offering extra attention to animals with special needs or disabilities, I am well-equipped to handle any situation and provide the best possible care. My patience and dedication ensure that every pet receives the attention and love they deserve. Taking great care of your pet is my #1 priority. I am home all day so I am available at any time. I have my own fur baby who is pretty chill during the day. I have a large fenced yard and a fun Aussie at home to play with. I can also crate your dog, for naps and quiet time, if that is preferred. For dogs, I live very close to areas where they can walk, sniff, or play around such as Golden Gate Park, Fort Funston, the beach, and enclosed dog parks.
