“Thanks so much Tobin for watching our pups with such short notice! He was timely & easy to communicate which we really appreciate! Our dogs looked very happy in the pics he shared.”

About: Hi there! I have years of experience caring for medium and large breed dogs, including walking, feeding, playtime, administering medications, and providing daily care for both my own dogs and those of friends and family. My goal is to make sure your dog is safe, happy, and well-exercised, though I’ll admit that getting to spend time with them is a perk for me too :) I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy student with a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to provide attentive, reliable care for your dog. I primarily study from my home in the inner sunset, allowing me to maintain a flexible routine. I’m committed to giving pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. I grew up with and around dogs and have extensive experience caring for medium and large breeds, specifically. I understand the importance of creating a safe, calm, and positive environment for every pet. I prioritize each dog’s comfort, safety, and individual needs while providing plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I am attentive to routines, habits, feeding schedules, and any special instructions to ensure your pet feels secure and well cared for while you’re away.
About: Hi! I’m May. I’m a responsible just-graduated medical student who loves dogs! I just moved back to the Bay Area from NC. I had a dog for nearly 15 years and miss having a furry friend around. Have also been a go-to cat sitter for multiple friends! I am very communicative and make sure to give at least daily updates while sitting. I’m a busy resident, but would love to take care of your dog on the weekends I’m free. 😊 I usually am working every other weekend, so I would not be the best fit for recurring visits. No pets, children, or other people will be at my home. Will take your dog on a nice long walk!! and they will probably be fawned over by my friends for extra attention
“Our normally anxious dog loved Joe! I honestly think maybe my dog prefers Joe over me. He was responsive and punctual. Couldn't ask for more! Would love to have him help us again!”

About: I've grown up my entire life tending to animals, whether it be pets or the pets of neighbors, although I've only pursued pet care for income within the past 4 years. I'm organized, attentive, and responsible, giving me the necessary traits to excel at taking care of your pets. I am available any day of the week from 9 AM to 8 PM. I am home from UC Davis for the summer and I would love to take on extra work with your pets! I care for pets in any home by providing food and playtime when and if necessary. Whether it's filling dog bowls, picking up poop, or taking them for a walk, your pets will be cared for like no other.
About: I have had my own dogs for the last 25 years and am the aunt to many dogs in the family and in the neighborhood. All the pups know I carry around treats! I have experience with a wide range of breeds. I am a very active person so your dog is sure to go on many walks followed by naps! I am retired so I am available whenever. With my last dog, a yellow Labrador named Kesha, I went on about 4 walks a day. My house is two levels and your dog is free to roam around as they wish. I have a backyard on the ground level so if hosting a senior dog, they won't have to use the stairs.
About: I am passionate about being a sitter for dogs and cats because I am very caring, and nurturing, ensuring each pet feels cherished and secure. Pets are considered family, and I give them lots of love and attention. I have raised my Australian Shepherd since he was an 8-week old puppy, so I am very familiar with dog training, providing playtime, and ensuring both mental and physical activities to keep them happy and healthy. I pay close attention to their needs, demands, and behavioral differences, providing tailored care and understanding. With experience in administering medication and offering extra attention to animals with special needs or disabilities, I am well-equipped to handle any situation and provide the best possible care. My patience and dedication ensure that every pet receives the attention and love they deserve. Taking great care of your pet is my #1 priority. I am home all day so I am available at any time. I have my own fur baby who is pretty chill during the day. I have a large fenced yard and a fun Aussie at home to play with. I can also crate your dog, for naps and quiet time, if that is preferred. For dogs, I live very close to areas where they can walk, sniff, or play around such as Golden Gate Park, Fort Funston, the beach, and enclosed dog parks.
About: Hi there! I'm Charlie, and I'm passionate about providing excellent care to your four legged family members. I have been working with dogs professionally for seven years, starting as a dog handler at a doggie daycare, then moving on to teach group classes for puppy training, basic obedience, and agility at a dog training facility, then specializing in puppy socialization at a local puppy dayschool! I value the comfort and wellbeing of any creature I work with, both physical and emotional, which is why I abide by force free/fear free methods. I am well versed in dog body language, have a good understanding of the principles of dog behavior and positive reinforcement based training, as well as early puppyhood development. I'm not just a dog person though - ever since I was a kid, I always had cats! In addition to having my own pet cats, I fostered pregnant mama cats and their kittens. I hope you consider choosing me to care for your best pals! I am available for walks and drop ins with pretty flexible availability, and am more than happy to drop by to love on your pet while you're at work! I care about ensuring that your pet is comfortable, safe, and happy, which is why I use force free/fear free methods in every interaction. Your pet deserves to feel comfortable with me and have their emotional needs respected in addition to their physical needs. And of course, I want your pet to have fun when they're with me! I like to keep things playful and lighthearted on any walk or drop-in. That's the best thing about pets!

“Nick is fantastic! Our dog is currently a full blown teenager, aka we don’t always want to listen, and nick had no problem working with his quirks. Nick was more than willing to meet up before for a meet and greet, Indy instantly fell in love with Nick!”

About: I have had pets al of my life (many cats and dogs, both small and large). I have eaten many a meal with a cat on the dinner table (bad, I know). I can play with the dog, or chill with the cat. I also enjoy long walks and watching tv, so I can do whatever the pet wants to do. I am currently working part time at a wine bar and searching for a job in the esthetics world (I just graduated school). I am free during the day and most evenings. I care for any pet like it’s my own. I will feed regularly and clean the litter box when needed. I am also a LitterRobot owner so I am proficient in cleaning it, or ‘fixing it’. I have many toys for my cat to use, but they only just look at them…
“Sydney is wonderful with my dog and was very patient with a lot of last minute logistical changes to our plan. She stays very calm and gentle even when my dog gets overexcited!”

About: About Me: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently share my home with a beagle and three cats. I started pet sitting quite young and have experience with everything from energetic puppy and kitten care to senior pets. Why Me! All Personalities Welcome: Firmly believe there are no "bad" pets. I am highly confident handling reactive/aggressive dogs and "spicier" cats (they hold a special place in my heart!). Patient, Respectful: If your pet is more shy, anxious, or needs space, I want to be there on their terms and happy to go with their flow. High-Energy: I’ve been active my entire life, so if your dog needs long, brisk walks to tire them out, I can absolutely keep up. If your cat needs at least an hour of head scratches I am ready! Full-Service Care: Dogs: Experienced in feeding routines, walking, long and short, puppy support, and endless fetch. Cats: Feeding, cleaning, being the newest subject of their kingdom. No matter the animal, I am eager to meet them already! I am home from University for the summer so can really be there at any point of the day! I can walk afternoons and visit to feed early mornings and nights. I can easily do longer walks and visit more frequently through the day. Super super flexible. Just important note that I leave for school again on August 18th, so if you are looking for someone long term unfortunately I might not be the right fit- but I will offer a discounted rate due to my availability only being for 3 months! I understand the trust and love between a pet and owner - having grown up with both cats and dogs so I will always make sure your pet feels safe and comforted! I love playing with both animals, fetch, tug a war, and so on. If your pup is energetic I'll be happy to match the energy :).

“Jill is exceptional! She always on time picking up Biscuit for his walk and is very communicative. She sends us updates with photos that we love. We cant recommend Jill enough :)”

“Very down to earth person. Meet and greet went well, very detail oriented. He is very sweet and caring with our pup. On time and will definitely give all the affection and warmth to your pup when you're gone! Highly recommend”

About: I have 30+ years of caring for pets I grew up on a ranch in California's Central Valley, was active in 4-H, and spent my childhood as a lifelong Girl Scout — animals have been part of my life since before I can remember. That hands-on foundation grew into three decades of caring for pets of every kind, and today I specialize in house sitting and dog walking right here in the Inner Sunset. What pet parents can count on from me: Real communication — I send photo and video updates throughout your booking, not just a check-in message. You'll know exactly how your pet's day is going. Your home, respected — I treat house sitting like I'm a guest who happens to be great with animals. Mail brought in, plants watered, everything left the way you left it. Consistency your pet can feel — Routines matter, especially for older pets or those with special needs. I follow your instructions closely and adjust to what actually keeps your pet comfortable. Someone you can reach — I'm quick to respond, flexible when plans shift, and easy to reach with questions before, during, or after a stay. Whether it's a senior dog who needs a gentle daily routine or a couple of cats who just want their person to notice they exist, I'd love to help make your time away one less thing to worry about. I am available most days during the day and weekends and live near Pacific Heights, inner Richmond and Nopa. I would love to help care for your animal and work remote for Google I cannot host at my home, but I have house and pet sit at clients' homes for over 10 years and have tons of referrals
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Inner Sunset is $28
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Inner Sunset
This was my first time using any kind of pet walking service. But Sabrina made us feel really safe and comfortable with any concerns we may have had. The meet and greet was a 10/10. We were gone most of the evening, so we left her with a key and instructions on how to get to our dog. After doing so, they would go on a walk, and the pictures and videos were awesome! We would definitely use her services again in the future!

Angela was amazing with my German shepherd mix Momo! She was super responsive, sent a ton of pics, and Momo warmed up to her very quickly. I appreciated how Angela was very receptive to me explaining Momo’s dog reactivity, and she took great care of her during their walks. I absolutely recommend Angela to anyone seeking a fantastic dog walker!

Ronnie is amazing! Our dog suddenly got a bout of diarrhea and was home alone in her crate. Instead of coming at 2:30 as planned Ronnie came at 11:30 and 3 to accommodate baileys need for more frequent bathroom breaks. Not sure what we would have done without her!! Thank you Ronnie!!

Hannah did a great job! Cal was so happy to see her, and it was clear she was well cared for. Hannah kept me updated the entire time with thoughtful texts and plenty of pictures, which I really appreciated. She’s incredibly sweet with Cal, reliable, and communicative. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog walker. I’ll definitely be using her again!

Anaïs is a lifesaver & so incredibly professional. We had a scheduling snag & she was so flexible & accommodating. And because we were in a pinch, it was extra stressful but she was able to go with the changes to our schedule & help us out. Not how we'd prefer to set up time for our pup with the walker but all the more reason she's such a gem. She didn't rush or give Luna any less time or attention. She was in constant communication & truly helped us feel at ease. When we can we will always use Anais.

From the very first contact to every walk, Valentina has been extremely responsive, accommodating, and professional. She is super patient with my senior dog, who has several quirks and needs to be hand-fed. She’s responsible and keeps him safe, and I have great peace-of-mind when I’m at work, knowing that she’ll be coming to spend time with him. I recommend Valentina to anyone looking for a fantastic and reliable dog-walker/sitter!
