Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. He’s used to being an only fur child at home, but will quickly adapt to a furry guest (human guests are a different matter). During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. I take dogs for multiple walks per day in the neighborhood or at the park. Your dogs can sleep on the furniture or with us in bed if they enjoy a good cuddle

About: For the past 12 years I loved and cared for my sweet husky, and although she recently passed away my home is still set up for a dog's comfort. Your dog will enjoy a cozy bed by the window, fresh bowls, a small yard, plenty of walks, and being a bit spoiled by having a sitter with tons of love in her heart and nowhere to put it. About: You know how you have that one friend who loses their train of thought when they see a cute pup down the street? That’s me. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t want to pet! Though, to be fair, I have an affinity for all animals. Having grown up with Rottweilers, I have a soft spot for “scary” breeds (that we know are actually the biggest lovers) and have the most experience with reactive dogs, including walking and socialization. Our own pup, Miso, also gave me an honorary dog nurse degree. He had a chronic disorder that required strictly timed medications and meals, so if your pup needs extra attention in that regard, I have ten years of experience making sure pets are feeling good! Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy this past December, so Rover doggos help fill the big hole left in my heart. I hope I get to meet your pup(s) soon! I promise, we will have a blast together 🐶 I run a company where I make my own schedule and work from home 80% of the time. I also live couple blocks off Golden Gate Park and would love to explore the trails with your pup! I have a spacious apartment, a few blocks off the park. Whereas I don’t have a yard, the limit does not exist for the number of walks your pup may get at Golden Gate! There are no other animals or children at the apartment; however, there is a carpeted flight of stairs to get inside.
About: I have grown up around dogs and now have one of my own. I know that no two dogs are the same and having a reactive dog myself, I am very well-aware of dog behavior and body language. I have been called "my dog's favorite person" by several friends. I am excited to get to know your dog and meet their needs whether it's sniffing, playing, or a long brisk walk! I live and work in San Francisco and have some flexibility with my work schedule. I am happy to work with you to make my schedule work for you and your pup. I have a fenced in yard near Golden Gate Park (our second backyard) and a playful dog of my own. I am sure to never be away from the house for too long and can set up your dog in a crate, let them roam free, or give them access to certain spaces in the house using gates.
About: Grew up with dogs and cats, cared for many over the years. Currently have a pet of my own. Fostered dogs through the local humane shelter and have some experience training puppies. Passionate about the humane treatment of animals and the therapeutic support they provide us. I'm currently in grad school and have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and clinical work on Wednesdays and Fridays. My schedule is flexible and much of my time during the week is spent studying, which allows for easy drop-in dog walking. Happy to stay overnight during the week and/or weekends. My landlord does not allow pets in my apartment, but I will happily care for your pet in your home, on walks, and at the park. Your house will be kept clean, safe, and secure.

Just important note that I leave for school again on August 18th, so if you are looking for someone long term unfortunately I might not be the right fit- but I will offer a discounted rate due to my availability only being for 3 months! I understand the trust and love between a pet and owner - having grown up with both cats and dogs so I will always make sure your pet feels safe and comforted! About: I have been a trusted pet sitter for the past four years for friends and family, ranging from short stays to over two week. During my time with these pets I enjoy taking them on long walks, hikes, and chilling together. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, and have been a weekly volunteer at the SF SPCA for over a year! I am starting a new full time job on August 10th so I will have unlimited free time to spend with your pet for the next month! I can cater to whatever the pets needs are. “My girl Beadie (7 years old, 9 lb, very timid) recently with Maria for nine days, and it went so much better than I was worried about (I'm a worrier, and this was only the second time we left her and the first was only two days). She was incredibly communitive, sent us a ton of updates (pictures, videos, and words), treated our girl in the way she's comfortable with - taking it slow, not crowding her, etc. Maria's dog Sparky was probably a little more high energy than Beadie would have liked (what she prefers is very low, so this definitely isn't saying Sparky is crazy high energy), but they definitely got along and I wasn't concerned about that. She was also very flexible when we missed a flight and needed to leave her for an extra night. All in all, I highly recommend. I really don't like leaving my girl at all, but I was much more comfortable with Maria taking care of her than I expected or even hoped.”
