About: I've grown up my entire life tending to animals, whether it be pets or the pets of neighbors, although I've only pursued pet care for income within the past 4 years. I'm organized, attentive, and responsible, giving me the necessary traits to excel at taking care of your pets. I am available any day of the week from 9 AM to 8 PM. I am home from UC Davis for the summer and I would love to take on extra work with your pets! I care for pets in any home by providing food and playtime when and if necessary. Whether it's filling dog bowls, picking up poop, or taking them for a walk, your pets will be cared for like no other.
“Nebula is a special cat and can be finicky, so it was wonderful that Mikele took such great care of her! I felt totally comfortable and confident with Mikele taking care of my family! Thank you!”

About: Since I was 10 I have had dogs in my life. From the loving ones who to sit and be pet to the ones who are busy busy busy and need a job, I have experienced most of the likes of pets. As for personalities, I can take care of the overly anxious ones to the super social ones. So if you need a couch potato for your pet, or a marathon runner, I can be your sitter! I love them all! I work out regularly (2-3 hrs) either at the gym or running outside so that can be extra convenient if your pet is active as well! I am also doing school part time (1-3 hrs). Other than that, the rest of my day is open! I live in a duplex with no other animals. Lots of open space for them to roam around. Also very close to Golden Gate park for longer excursions.
“Dave is great! He’s so responsive and genuinely cares for Cleo. I’m never stressed when I know Dave is going to check in on Cleo while I’m racing all day on the bay. Thanks Dave!”

About: Hi there! I’m new to Rover but have years of experience caring for medium and large breed dogs, including walking, feeding, playtime, administering medications, and providing daily care for both my own dogs and those of friends and family. My goal is to make sure your dog is safe, happy, and well-exercised, though I’ll admit that getting to spend time with them is a perk for me too :) I’m an incoming Doctor of Physical Therapy student with a flexible summer schedule and plenty of availability to provide attentive, reliable care for your dog. Once classes begin in late August, I will primarily be studying from my home in the inner sunset, allowing me to maintain a flexible routine and continue offering consistent care. I’m committed to giving pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. I grew up with and around dogs and have extensive experience caring for medium and large breeds, specifically. I understand the importance of creating a safe, calm, and positive environment for every pet. I prioritize each dog’s comfort, safety, and individual needs while providing plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I am attentive to routines, habits, feeding schedules, and any special instructions to ensure your pet feels secure and well cared for while you’re away.
“Dana is always great and available whenever my family isn’t able to take care of my dogs! She’s my go-to and a HUGE lifesaver—I know my low energy senior & high energy adult are in good hands with her. :) I 100% recommend her for your dogsitting needs, whether your dog(s) are young or old, special needs or just in need of extra TLC!”

About: I'm a foreigner and I should have left my little Hachi and Bailey in my country with their grandmother, my mom🤣 it's hard to be away from them and my way of spreading the love I feel for animals is by helping to take care of them, even for a couple of hours. I can guarantee that I will take care of them and give them love for as long as you need as if they were mine❤️ The work you currently do leaves me a lot of freedom of time, it can be said that I am my own boss, I can adapt to the time I need to take care of your pets, it would only be a matter of talking about it beforehand and with time. I really have availability every day I don't have dogs at home, my garden is fenced but my apartment is small and I consider it preferable to play or take care of pets in their comfort zone, but I have no problem bringing them home if necessary.
About: Hi! I’m May. I’m a responsible just-graduated medical student who loves dogs! I just moved back to the Bay Area from NC. I had a dog for nearly 15 years and miss having a furry friend around. Have also been a go-to cat sitter for multiple friends! I am very communicative and make sure to give at least daily updates while sitting. I’m a busy resident, but would love to take care of your dog on the weekends I’m free. 😊 I usually am working every other weekend, so I would not be the best fit for recurring visits. No pets, children, or other people will be at my home. Will take your dog on a nice long walk!! and they will probably be fawned over by my friends for extra attention
“Great sitter for pets with meds! My cat needs medicine twice a day (syringe by mouth) and Sathiya was great about helping with handling him and his meds even though he's slower to warm up to strangers. Came back home to a healthy, happy cat and a well taken care of apartment after getting lots of pictures and updates while I was gone :)”
About: Lifelong pet lover and proud dog mom to Buddy, my rescue pup, and former cat mom to Princess for 14 years. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including looking after friend’s pets when they’re away. Your furry baby will be treated with love, care, and plenty of attention. I’m currently in between jobs and I’m starting my arts and crafts business. I have a flexible schedule and I’m available during the holidays to take care of your pets. I live in a large apartment a few blocks away from Golden Gate Park and a short drive away from dog-friendly spots. I have an office that is baby-gated and pet safe that will help your pet get used to my place. I can provide a safe and quiet space for your pet to be able to play, eat, and rest.

About: I have experience taking care of dogs and cats, including feeding them, keeping their spaces clean, and making sure they’re comfortable and safe. I’m good at noticing their behavior and responding to their needs. I’m reliable, patient, and enjoy spending time caring for animals. I’m currently working full time. I have open availability on the weekends. I am open to week nights if needed just need a 24 hour notice. I care for pets in other people’s homes by making sure they are fed, have fresh water, and are comfortable. I follow any specific instructions given by the owner, keep their space clean, and spend time with them so they feel safe and not alone. I pay attention to their behavior and make sure their needs are met while their owners are away.
“Joseph did a great job with my cats and even got one of them to warm up to him a bit about halfway through (both of my cats are very skittish). He kept my place neat and tidy while I was away, too. I will continue to utilize his services as much as he is available!”

About: Hi, I'm Jesse! I'm a lifelong dog lover based in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco - one of the best dog-friendly corners of the city, with Golden Gate Park practically at our doorstep. My experience with dogs started early, growing up with family dogs, and has grown through years of hands-on care and volunteering. I've learned that dogs are far more than pets - they're sensitive, intelligent companions who thrive on consistency, trust, and genuine attention. That's exactly what I bring to every visit and stay. I take the responsibility of caring for someone's dog seriously. I pay close attention to each dog's individual personality, routines, and needs, and I communicate regularly with owners so you always know how your pup is doing. Whether it's a long walk through the park, a cozy afternoon at home, or just some quality playtime, your dog will be in steady, caring hands. I know how much your dog means to you - and I treat every pup like they're my own. I'd love to meet your dog. Feel free to reach out anytime! Meet & greets are always 100% free. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine. During the week, I'm available most evenings Thursday and Friday after 5/6pm, and on weekends I'm pretty flexible - just reach out with your needs. This means full Saturday adventures or a relaxing Sunday with your pup are never a problem. I keep a consistent, reliable schedule so pet parents always know exactly when I'm available and can plan with confidence. I'm a devoted pet parent myself - my cat is, without question, the queen of our home. She gets daily affirmations, gourmet meals, and all the snuggles she demands. So trust me, I understand what it means to truly care for an animal. Because my cat reigns supreme at home, I offer care exclusively at your home rather than mine. This actually works out beautifully for your dog - they get to stay in their own familiar environment, stick to their routine, and feel comfortable and secure. I treat every client's home with the utmost respect, and every dog in my care gets the same devoted attention my cat gets at ours.
About: Hi! 👋🏽 I had a small family dog (about 20 lbs) who loved long walks, chasing birds, and playing at the park or beach. He's the reason I fell in love with dogs, and since then, I've had the joy of spending time with dogs of all sizes. Whether your dog needs a quick drop-in, a feeding, or a good walk around the neighborhood, I'm happy to help. I'll always keep their safety and comfort first, and I'm big on communication — I try to send several photos and updates so you're never left wondering how they're doing. I currently work part-time, and my schedule is flexible throughout the week so I can adjust around what you and your pet need the most. When caring for pets in your home, I'll follow your instructions closely — meals and any medications are given as directed. I make sure your pet gets daily walks and play that match their energy level, whether that's a long stroll or something more low-key. For your home, I'll keep things tidy and leave the space as I found it while you're away. Throughout the stay, I send daily photo and video updates so you always know your pet is happy and in good hands.
About: I have had pets al of my life (many cats and dogs, both small and large). I have eaten many a meal with a cat on the dinner table (bad, I know). I can play with the dog, or chill with the cat. I also enjoy long walks and watching tv, so I can do whatever the pet wants to do. I am currently working part time at a wine bar and searching for a job in the esthetics world (I just graduated school). I am free during the day and most evenings. I care for any pet like it’s my own. I will feed regularly and clean the litter box when needed. I am also a LitterRobot owner so I am proficient in cleaning it, or ‘fixing it’. I have many toys for my cat to use, but they only just look at them…

“Catherine was wonderful. She dogsat for me for the afternoon and was very gentle and caring with my nervous boy. She was very prompt and provided me with updates and pictures. It’s great to know there is someone I can trust with my anxious pup :)”

About: I am a certified dog trainer specializing in puppies, obedience, confidence building and positive reinforcement training. I have been working dogs for the past four years as well as raising numerous dogs from doodles to Malinois’. I’ve volunteered at shelters, assisted group class, conduct private sessions, board & trains, reverse board & trains, day care, worked with known trainers around the valley, and now am branching out to boarding, sitting, and walking! I believe in setting dogs up for success, so let me help you take care of your pup. I work from home and I have an open and flexible schedule to suit all needs. My daily routine consists of caring for my personal dog, Phoenix, who needs to be worked multiple times a day as he is a Malinois. I am no stranger to the care and needs of dogs, my life basically revolves around them. I care for and train my own dog daily and he loves to work and having friends. I frequent the park daily and also have a large fenced backyard. In a clients home I respect their space and their needs depending on what they request for their pet(s).
About: I have grown up with dogs. My family has had golden retrievers since before I was born. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages. I am currently employed full time but may be unemployed soon and I am looking to start something that I will like in the interim - I love animals and am excited about starting a job that will get me outside again. When I watch pets I am almost always with them. If the house has a fenced yard, I am in the yard with them when they do their business at night. I either don’t leave (unless I have to, like for work) or I take the dog or dogs with me when I go to a pet friendly area.

About: I grew up on a cattle farm in Alabama, so caring for animals is in my DNA. I live a very active lifestyle and know how to meet your pup exactly where they are, whether that’s a high-energy play session or run or a calm afternoon on the couch over a good book. Whether you’re working, traveling or just enjoying time with friends, giving your dog the love and care that they deserve requires a village. Let me be a part of that village by spoiling your family member with the warmth and attentiveness only an aunt could provide. My schedule is built around flexibility. I am an entrepreneur so dogs fit naturally into my day. Morning walks align with my gym routine, and I’m largely at home or local during the week. No rigid 9-to-5, which means your dog isn’t an afterthought squeezed into a lunch break. I adapt to you and your dog’s needs. I live near Golden Gate Park and an excellent dog park, so walks are always fun and never an afterthought.
About: I have cared for all different types of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them in the house and always took responsibility for their care. When family and friends leave town I always take care of them if I can. Having grown up with dogs, I have also cared for senior dogs and been responsible for administering medications. I have just finished a job contract, and while I am waiting to start graduate school in the fall I will have more than enough free time to care for your pets. My days will be relatively free so I can be with your pet whenever is convenient for you. My weekends are going to be a bit more touch and go, but weekdays will be nothing but time to love and care for your furry family. I like to keep a very hands/eye on approach to pet care. They will get constant attention (of course as long as they want it) when I'm around. I am also able to crate dogs if needed!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Inner Sunset
Brandy was excellent with my cat, Penny. Penny is very social, silly, and engaging and Brandy was able to fit right in with Penny and her ever-changing energy. Brandy provided great updates and photos in the Rover cards and that made me feel at ease while I was traveling. I can’t wait to book with Brandy again because she and Penny have become fast friends.

Martha is AMAZING! She went above and beyond, proactively asking to come early to meet our dog and learn about her before taking her out the first time. She had detailed questions, and then when she came back, gave us a full rundown. Our dog is not the best walker, and Martha gave us real training tips that WORKED to improve her walking for all of our sakes. I would 100% work with her again!
Sanaz did a wonderful job taking care of my kitty while I was away on vacation. She was extremely communicative, sent lot of pictures and updates and was even able to accommodate and extra visit when my flight was cancelled. Highly recommend her sitting services! Thank you Sanaz! 🌟

Nicole really went above and beyond caring for our 3 (very needy and attention hungry!) cats. She was easy to communicate with and reliable, but what we appreciated the most was that she spent extra time beyond the minimum required by Rover hanging out with them. She sent plenty of updates with photos and videos letting us know they were in good hands, and even administered oral medication to one of our cats. We will definitely be reaching out to Nicole for future cat sitting as well as recommending her to anyone who needs care for their pets!
