I have lots of experience caring for active dogs, including my own rescue pit-mix, Cally. I enjoy long walks in nature and playing with high energy dogs and know first hand how demanding caring for them can be. I would love to help you and your pet in whichever way I can. I have experience with overnight and drop in care for dogs and cats. I know how to make them comfortable and cared for when their family is away. I am also pretty good at teaching old dogs new tricks.

Rita came over to watch my sweetie cat Luna for several days. She was very attentive and mindful. Was super responsive and friendly. I’d trust Rita with all of my pets.
Rita was my regular dog walker for over 6 months in the pandemic. She helped walk my 60-pound German Shepherd since I couldn’t. Rita took Biscuit on long walks (an hour-1.5 hours) every afternoon during that six-month time period. It was a lifesaver for me and for Biscuit — he even lost some weight and learned some new tricks. I would be happy to hire her any time she is back in town — Biscuit still loves her and gets excited when we see her in the neighborhood around the holidays.
Margarita is really nice and communicative letting me a day in advance that she would be a bit late during our initial meeting. I liked that she sent me photos of my baby throughout my trip. When I saw how happy Chica was in the videos I felt highly reassured. I hired again for a shorter trip where Margarita checked in on Chica instead of fully house sitting and still felt safe knowing my girl would be fine and taken care of I liked her for both the house sitting and the check ins.
We are so happy with the SUPER STAR quality of service during our week long vacation. Rita went above and beyond! We got daily pictures at least twice a day and a cute little report on how Mini had done throughout the week when we got back. Soooo CUTE!!!! I have never had a house sitter go so above and beyond before! Our house was even cleaner than when we left. THANKS RITA!!!

Schedule
I am currently in a full time graduate program. I am free mainly in the evenings after 5pm M-F; all day on weekends. I am happy to do overnight housesitting for you in your home, but I am not able to bring pets to my home for boarding due to the presence of other (prickly) animal friends. If you are out of town, let me take your active dogs on the best weekend of their life.
