About: I've had about 30 dogs throughout my life. My last dog Lola was a fully trained service dog. I seem to understand dogs and they understand me. I've never been bitten, and I'm well-versed in training dogs in a very kind and gentle way. I've always dreamed of being a dog sitter and finally, at this point in my life, I have the time to fulfill my lifelong dream. I'm responsible, and physically fit which allows me to handle multiple dogs when necessary. If the owner wants their dog to go on a long hike or a brisk walk it's something I can easily provide. This allows me to work with dogs of all ages and sizes. I've had experience in training many types of dogs including crate training puppies. I specialize in working with larger dogs typically in the 50 to 90+ lbs range. I watch my partner's 90 lbs dog regularly and I also watch two of her children's dogs which are 90 and 70 lbs. I have two daughters who grew up with many dogs from puppies to fully grown rescue dogs. There are many children who have never learned how to approach and interact with dogs. One of my passions is helping children learn how to approach a dog and learn the proper way to interact and get to know them. Especially, those who are scared and unfamiliar with the behaviors of different dogs. I'm primarily a writer and still do some IT Consultant project work. Taking care of dogs gives me the freedom to do the two things I love the most. Writing and hanging out with dogs. I have the freedom to be available when needed by the dog owner and have a very flexible schedule. I live in the Outer Richmond. I'm just a few blocks away from Lands End, Ocean Beach, and Golden Gate Park. I prefer to work with clients in the Presidio. Lincoln Park. Inner, Central, and Outer Richmond. Seaclift, Inter, Central, and Outer Sunset. Most of my work is done at the client's home and in the area. I'm very respectful of a client's home and property. My references can attest to the fact that I keep things clean and orderly. It's my policy to leave a client's home exactly as they left it. I have a clean and safe fenced-in backyard. While I live in a large 3-bedroom 2-bath flat I believe most dogs would enjoy the environment around me and not being stuck inside. I specialize in working with large dogs typically between 50 and 90 lbs. I've had well over 30 dogs throughout my life and have trained many of them. I fundamentally believe that a dog should have the most enjoyable life possible. They have a relatively short life span and should be allowed to be dogs within certain limits. In addition, I will always follow the directions given to me by the owner.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young. My oldest memories include playing with my family labs who were sweet, silly, treat-loving dogs. About 15 years ago, my family adopted Clover, a Schnauzer-Poodle who loves basking in the sun. More recently, my family adopted Theo, a chocolate lab who loves playing with his toys and running around outside. I have always enjoys playing with dogs, taking them in walks, or simply lounging by their side on a cozy night in. Throughout my childhood and into college, I was always taking care of dogs and cats to help out my neighbors. In 2024, I moved in with roommates and an orange cat who I have watched many times while my roommates are out of town. Since 2025, I have been regularly house and pet sitting for a lovely dog and cat, and am looking to expand my pet-care opportunities. I love spending time with animals and appreciate that each animal has their own personality and boundaries. I have some training skills, and have taken care of some senior pets as well. I have watched over some reactive dogs, but prefer taking care of dogs that are calmer and approachable. I currently work full time remotely, so I have ample time to walk dogs between meetings and tasks. My work schedule is flexible. I am an early riser so can get in a walk before work as well. I can accommodate most days, with limitations on Mondays and Wednesday evenings. Let’s chat more about your needs and scheduling. When caring for pets, I try to keep their routine consistent and follow all instructions provided by the owners to ensure they stay safe and comfortable. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and movement based on their personality. I also keep the home tidy and clean. Communication is important to me, I’m always happy to send updates on how things are going. My ultimate goal is to make sure that both the pet and owner feel confident with my care.
About: My love for dogs was shaped by the amazing dogs I grew up with in Berkeley, CA. After majoring in sociology I decided to dedicate my life to understanding canines instead of humans, oops! I have spent the last 4+ years walking a pack of off leash dogs all over the beautiful open spaces in SF. I currently walk a pack of dogs M-F 10-3. Possibly have openings to add to the crew or open to walks outside of those time parameters. Availability for boarding at my apt or house sitting.. I live in an apartment 2 blocks from GGP, 2 blocks from Lands End, and 10 blocks from Ocean Beach. When I watch a pet they become apart of my family - I treat them with lots of love and the utmost care.

“Jennifer is absolutely amazing. Incredibly thorough, responsive, and an incredibly kind person. We had no worries while we were away thanks to Jennifer! Chuck is looking forward to next time already! 😁”

“I booked Caitlin for two drop ins with my dog Rothko. She came to the first one and did great with my pup but cancelled last minute the second day because she was sick which left me in a really tight spot having to ask my neighbors to check in on my dog.”

About: Hi, this is Bryan! I have a 5 year-old Yorkie boy (and a cat). We go on walks 3-4 times a day, we clean our face, paws, pp, and butt after each walk. While my dog is a couch-potato when he’s with me, he enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs, big or small. Hair brushing can be therapeutic. My professional background is Marketing, Branding, and Communications. So communication is a big thing for me. I like clear instructions, asking questions, providing updates, etc. Look forward to connecting and helping you with your fur babies! I’m currently a full-time stay home pet parent. So my schedule is highly flexible. It would be great if my 8 lb Yorkie can tag along, but not a must. Also, it would be ideal if I can reserve 3-5 hours/day away from your house during house sitting, to run errands or grab dinner with my husband. Let’s chat and find out the best schedule that works for us. Communications is key. I’m willing to accommodate your requests in taking special care for your pet because you know them the best, and each pet has their own likes and dislikes.
“Abigail did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, Owen, for a week we were away. Owen is a senior cat who’s very attached to his humans, and usually does not warm up to strangers easily; but even though it was her first time meeting Owen, Abigail quickly established a rapport with him. She clearly understands cats and enjoys interacting with them. We really appreciated her updates and photos, which helped us to rest easy knowing that Owen was safe and happy during our absence. We would recommend Abigail without hesitation.”

“Mikele was patient, communicative, and prompt. Even though my dog didn’t warm up, she handled the situation with professionalism and genuine care. I would recommend her as someone who is very reliable and thoughtful.”

“Vivian was an exceptional cat sitter! They were caring, kind, and spent quality time with our kitties. Vivian was flexible, accommodating a last-minute request and consistently sent us thoughtful observant updates and pictures that made us feel at ease. Highly recommend”

“Rocio really helped us out when we needed someone to drop in with our Frenchie at the last minute. She was extremely communicative and kept us updated on the visit with so many great pictures! Thank you Rocio!!”

“Katie took great care of our cats. She's very communicative and responsive and got some great action shots. She even got our shy cat to come out of her shell.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and other furry friends my entire life. I’m a social work graduate student who loves working with both people and their animals! I’m even a licensed EMT, so you can be sure I’m dependable and great under stress! I currently work full time but will be taking time off before starting graduate school in August, during which time I will be fully available. I do not host animals in my home since I have two cats of my own, but I am dependable and responsible with pets and other peoples’ homes.
“Jennifer was wonderful with our cat, Alto. She was very informative with her updates and very responsive. We appreciated how detailed she was in her observations on how much our cat was eating. She was also very flexible about key pick up and drop off. Also she was kind enough to bring our mail in and leave our place spotless. We would definitely book Jennifer again!”

“Super communicative and accommodating sitter. Would definitely book again. Our dog is a bit anxious but seems like even by the end of Ivonne’s 30 min drop in, Martini seemed like she warmed up and snuggled.”

“We love having Anaïs watch our cats. She’s super responsive, our cats love her and she takes care to not only take care of the physical needs but also plays with them and connects so they feel totally secure while we’re gone. She is very reliable and we recommend her highly!”

Since we both work from home, we’re able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. Walks, playtime, feeding, and care easily fit into our routine. We prioritize safety, comfort, and routine. We carefully follow feeding, walking, and care instructions, keep a clean environment, and make sure pets feel secure, supervised, and well-loved at all times.
About: My family was the designated dog-sitting family for others that went on vacation. We had a never-ending rotation of different breeds, ages, and personalities in our house. Now, I’m a mom to a Corgi-Husky (white husky in a corgi body), a black cat and a gray cat. Up until recently, I also cared for my senior orange cat who lived up to almost 16 years of age. I’ve trained my dog after adopting her and trained our family dogs. They learned tricks and the basics like “sit”, “down”, as well as the occasional puppy biting. I’d love to show the same care to your pets and get to know them, if you’d like me to do basic training - I’d be happy to give it a try. I’m currently working full-time, with a pretty consistent schedule so I’m free after work and on weekends. I enjoy taking care and spending time with pets! In your home, please let me know what works best for you and what rules you have set for your pets. I know my pets tests boundaries with people who don’t often take care of her, so let me know what rules to keep in your house and I’ll follow them!

Pets are allowed on the couch and bed or if they prefer the carpet that is perfectly fine.

Jacob is SO courteous, kind and communicative! It is easy to trust him with our little pup, and he makes us feel at ease while we’re away. I’m confident Boog will get thoughtful attention and genuine care when he’s with Jacob. He was an easy “yes” for us to book regular services!

Couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience. Cameron was a dream to work with from the start and we knew from the first test visit that our cat, Ollie, also liked her. She was responsive, responsible, proactive, and clearly knows cats. Her updates and photos were thorough and kept us assured throughout the trip that Ollie was well taken care of. We would not hesitate to work with Cameron again.

Dana did a fantastic job taking care of our cat Ralphie! She was friendly and professional during our meet and greet, and Ralphie instantly warmed to her. While we were gone, she was reliable and communicative, always sending thorough updates and lots of great pictures. We will definitely try to book her again when we leave town in the future — can’t recommend her highly enough!

Kay was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Chicory, this past weekend! From the very first message, she was incredibly reliable and professional. What we appreciated most was her communication—she gave great feedback and kept us updated the whole time. It was clear that Chicory was in excellent hands, which allowed us to really relax.
