“This was our second time booking Mikele to take care of our cat while we were out of town. She was amazing with with our cat and also took great care our apartment while we were gone. We feel at ease knowing Mikele is dropping into our place and we'll be sure to book her in the future!”

“Super communicative and accommodating sitter. Would definitely book again. Our dog is a bit anxious but seems like even by the end of Ivonne’s 30 min drop in, Martini seemed like she warmed up and snuggled.”

“Catherine was wonderful. She dogsat for me for the afternoon and was very gentle and caring with my nervous boy. She was very prompt and provided me with updates and pictures. It’s great to know there is someone I can trust with my anxious pup :)”

“Nicole was awesome, and my usually shy cat, Chloe, warmed up to her immediately. Nicole was very flexible and accommodating, and she sent very cute, playful photos of Chloe while I was away at a conference. I would highly recommend her services and will definitely be rebooking her.”

About: Hello, I’m available to walk your dog and/or check-in on your cat. I have my own dog and cat. I enjoy taking my dog for long walks or to parks, like I will yours. I love cats, playing with them and petting them. I can change their litter and any other task needed. I have a regular day job but if dog and cat sitting works out, I want to make it my full time job. Just trying to build clientele before making the transition. I provide dog and cat services for pet owners in the Richmond District. I provide long walks for dogs, fill food and water bowls and any other services at your request.
About: I have more than 30 years of experience caring for animals, including dogs, cats, rats, and birds. I have cared for my own pets as well as animals belonging to friends, family members, and neighbors. I am comfortable with pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, as long as they are not aggressive. I genuinely love animals and usually find it easy to build trust with them. I can follow feeding and walking schedules, provide playtime and companionship, clean up after pets, and administer oral medication when needed. I currently also help care for and walk my roommate’s dog. I am responsible, attentive, and will treat your pet with patience and care. I cannot board animals in my own home because of landlord restrictions, but I am available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication, and safety instructions provided by the owner. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior, boundaries, and individual needs, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos. Due to my landlord’s restrictions, I’m unable to host pets in my apartment.
About: While the rest of my family is remarkably allergic to just about anything with fur, I’ve been the odd one out, and able to interact with all kinds of furry friends. I spent a large amount of time during my childhood helping my pediatrician take care of, and walking, their two dogs, a Great Dane, and a Pitbull. Both dogs ended up adoring me, and this eventually extended to any friendly dog I’ve encountered since. My current work situation has me free to provide care for any furry or fuzzy friends most days in the week, with the only limits being some personal commitments on Fridays and Weekends. I follow all provided instructions regarding the pet to the letter, and make sure to check-in with the owners when possible. I make absolutely sure that the pet is comfortable, cared for, and safe for the entire time I’m providing care
“Maho did a great job sitting with our kitty. Maho is very friendly, sent us extremely cute photos and videos of her playing with our cat, we were sure the cat is fine! The communication was super smooth and easy, and we even found a nice postcard when we got back! I would definitely recommend Maho as a petsitter and work with her again. Thank you Maho! =(^_____^)=”

About: I have spent the last 4+ years working as a professional dog walker - walking a pack of up to 8 off leash dogs in beautiful San Francisco. My love for dogs was shaped by the amazing dogs I grew up with in Berkeley, CA. After majoring in sociology I decided to dedicate my life to understanding canines instead of humans, oops! I currently walk a pack of dogs M-F 10-3. Possibly have openings to add to the crew or open to walks outside of those time parameters. Availability for boarding at my apt or house sitting. I live in an apartment 2 blocks from GGP, 2 blocks from Lands End, and 10 blocks from Ocean Beach. When I watch a pet they become apart of my family - I treat them with lots of love and the utmost care.
About: Loving dog parent to a 3-year-old Rough Collie, experienced in daily walks, feeding, grooming, routines, and patient care, providing calm, reliable, home-style attention every weekend. “I work full-time during weekdays, but pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, and companionship. I prioritize pet care commitments and only accept bookings I can fully support.” “Safety and trust are my top priorities. I’m a dog parent myself and understand daily routines, supervision, and consistency. I follow each pet’s care instructions closely, keep doors and leashes secure, and ensure calm, attentive care. In my home, dogs are welcomed into a clean, dog-friendly space alongside my well-socialized Rough Collie. In clients’ homes, I respect their space, follow routines exactly, and provide regular updates for peace of mind.”
“Nicole is amazing!!!!!! She made my really shy kitty feel so safe. She was very communicative, punctual, and sent so many adorable photos and videos. It is clear that she loves animals and she took such good care of my little guy. I will absolutely book with her again!!”

About: I've had a rescue dog named Boo, she was a senior cockerspaniel that lived for 16 years. She had low energy, was very calm, and easy to take care of. I understand for a senior dog you need to take your time with them. I've also dealt with a senior German Shepherd who has Degenerative Myelopathy. I had to express his anal glands/ bladder and change his diapers I'm currently working part-time, so i'll have time to take care of your dogs! I'm free almost everyday except when i have to work at the dog kennel and the food truck I have a fenced backyard and a room for the dog to live in. At my clients home, ill be attentive and keep the dog company.

“Jennifer is absolutely amazing. Incredibly thorough, responsive, and an incredibly kind person. We had no worries while we were away thanks to Jennifer! Chuck is looking forward to next time already! 😁”

About: I've had about 30 dogs throughout my life. My last dog Lola was a fully trained service dog. I seem to understand dogs and they understand me. I've never been bitten, and I'm well-versed in training dogs in a very kind and gentle way. I've always dreamed of being a dog sitter and finally, at this point in my life, I have the time to fulfill my lifelong dream. I'm responsible, and physically fit which allows me to handle multiple dogs when necessary. If the owner wants their dog to go on a long hike or a brisk walk it's something I can easily provide. This allows me to work with dogs of all ages and sizes. I've had experience in training many types of dogs including crate training puppies. I specialize in working with larger dogs typically in the 50 to 90+ lbs range. I watch my partner's 90 lbs dog regularly and I also watch two of her children's dogs which are 90 and 70 lbs. I have two daughters who grew up with many dogs from puppies to fully grown rescue dogs. There are many children who have never learned how to approach and interact with dogs. One of my passions is helping children learn how to approach a dog and learn the proper way to interact and get to know them. Especially, those who are scared and unfamiliar with the behaviors of different dogs. I'm primarily a writer and still do some IT Consultant project work. Taking care of dogs gives me the freedom to do the two things I love the most. Writing and hanging out with dogs. I have the freedom to be available when needed by the dog owner and have a very flexible schedule. I live in the Outer Richmond. I'm just a few blocks away from Lands End, Ocean Beach, and Golden Gate Park. I prefer to work with clients in the Presidio. Lincoln Park. Inner, Central, and Outer Richmond. Seaclift, Inter, Central, and Outer Sunset. Most of my work is done at the client's home and in the area. I'm very respectful of a client's home and property. My references can attest to the fact that I keep things clean and orderly. It's my policy to leave a client's home exactly as they left it. I have a clean and safe fenced-in backyard. While I live in a large 3-bedroom 2-bath flat I believe most dogs would enjoy the environment around me and not being stuck inside. I specialize in working with large dogs typically between 50 and 90 lbs. I've had well over 30 dogs throughout my life and have trained many of them. I fundamentally believe that a dog should have the most enjoyable life possible. They have a relatively short life span and should be allowed to be dogs within certain limits. In addition, I will always follow the directions given to me by the owner.
About: Hi, this is Bryan! I have a 5 year-old Yorkie boy (and a cat). We go on walks 3-4 times a day, we clean our face, paws, pp, and butt after each walk. While my dog is a couch-potato when he’s with me, he enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs, big or small. Hair brushing can be therapeutic. My professional background is Marketing, Branding, and Communications. So communication is a big thing for me. I like clear instructions, asking questions, providing updates, etc. Look forward to connecting and helping you with your fur babies! I’m currently a full-time stay home pet parent. So my schedule is highly flexible. It would be great if my 8 lb Yorkie can tag along, but not a must. Also, it would be ideal if I can reserve 3-5 hours/day away from your house during house sitting, to run errands or grab dinner with my husband. Let’s chat and find out the best schedule that works for us. Communications is key. I’m willing to accommodate your requests in taking special care for your pet because you know them the best, and each pet has their own likes and dislikes.
“Abigail watched my 3 kitties while I was gone, one which is undergoing chemo and lost a bunch of weight. she took extra care of my little frail girl, which I very much appreciated! she also sent pics and great updates each time. Abigail was also very flexible and added on more drop ins upon request last minute. Thanks again!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced caretaker with years of hands-on experience. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs through every stage of life - kittens as young as 2 weeks old, senior cats with special needs, energetic pups who love adventure, and mellow dogs who prefer relaxed walks. I understand that every pet has their own personality, quirks, and comfort zones, and I tailor my care to match their needs. I genuinely enjoy daily walks and neighborhood exploring, whether it’s a quick stroll or a longer adventure. Some of my favorite spots include Lands End, Golden Gate Park, Baker Beach, and Ocean Beach - perfect for dogs who love fresh air, scenery, and new smells. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for years to care for their pets while they’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m reliable, attentive, and always focused on making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether your kitty is playful, your pup is energetic, or they’re somewhere in between, I’m here to give them the care they deserve. I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. Whether it’s dropping in for a visit, taking your dog out for a walk, or spending extended time with your cat, I can easily fit their care into my daily routine. If your kitty prefers company, I’m happy to work from your home so they’re not alone - perfect for cats who like a little extra attention (or supervision!). Caring for neighbors’ pets fits naturally into my schedule, and I’m always glad to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, and consistent updates while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your cat at home or taking your dog out for a walk, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow any instructions you provide closely - feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, favorite toys, or preferred spots - because I know how important consistency is for pets. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pets get the attention they need during that time- play, cuddles, quiet companionship, a clean litter box, or fresh food and water. For dogs, that can also mean a refreshing walk to stretch their legs and explore. If I’m staying in your home, I keep their environment calm and familiar while also respecting your space.
