About: Hello! I’ve been in the SF area for over 3 years now! I’m up for taking small and medium sized dogs on walks. I’ve done some dog walking when I was younger and am very persistent in watching dogs cues throughout a walk. I've taken care of cats since I was in high school. Many neighbors and family members have asked me numerous times to watch their cats! I have experience with both young and older cats. It can be hard to leave your cat at home, which I am very familiar with as I have a 2 cats of my own. I strive to make sure your cat feels loved and cared for by feeding them, changing water, cleaning their litter boxes, and lots of play time! In my free time, I volunteer at the SF SPCA where I help kittens and cats socialize and acclimate to human interaction. I currently work at Sutter Health CPMC as a music therapist, Monday through Fridays. I am available after 5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and available on most weekends. I’ll let each dog/cat take their time in getting to know and build trust with them as in order to take them for walks or have them interact/play with me. I give my cats extra play time especially at night/dusk as they are nocturnal animals and would do so if checking in with your cat in the evening. I respect the cat's space and environment, letting them lead whether how affectionate they want to be or how much space they need.
“Katerin is amazing. I’m a travel nurse and while I’m at work all day she makes sure my Aussie is nice and tired when I come home! I wish I could take her with me back to Colorado. Best walker ever!!”

“Samuel did a great job walking Chase every day for a week. He was very communicative and responsive setting up meet and great, and stopping by to pick up instructions and keys. He sent photos of Chase each day on their walks. I would recommend Samuel for dog walking.”

About: Growing up with a dog taught me that pets aren't just animals, they're family. Since moving away from home, I've missed my own dog deeply, and that's exactly what inspired me to join Rover. I bring a calm, nurturing presence that helps dogs feel safe and at ease, whether we're out exploring on a long walk or simply enjoying some quiet company. I love spending time outdoors and will make sure your pup gets the fresh air, exercise, and affection they deserve. I currently work hybrid so the days I'm home I have plenty of free time to dedicate to walks and pet care. I'm flexible with timing and can easily accommodate morning, midday, or afternoon walks to fit your routine Your dog's safety and comfort is my top priority. I treat every pet as if they were my own, following any instructions you provide. I'm attentive, calm, and will always keep your dog on leash and under close supervision during walks. I'm happy to follow your dog's specific routine to keep them feeling secure and at ease.

About: Hi, I’m Lina! I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and have experience with dogs of all sizes, from tiny dachshunds to gentle giants like greyhounds. I’m especially comfortable with greyhounds and understand their unique personalities and needs. I truly enjoy long walks and believe the best outings balance exercise and mental stimulation. I make sure dogs get plenty of steps in, while also giving them time to sniff, explore, and take in the world. A walk should be fun and engaging, not just a lap around the block. In college, I fostered dogs, which taught me patience, adaptability, and how to care for pups with different temperaments. I currently have a cat at home, but I really miss having dogs in my daily life. Walking and caring for your dog lets me bring that joy back while giving your pet the attention and activity they deserve. You may notice photos of a sweet greyhound in my profile. That was Leo, my family dog, who has since passed away. He’s a big part of why I love dogs so much, and especially why I understand and adore greyhounds. I include those pictures to show my experience and the genuine care I have for the breed. You can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and genuinely invested in your dog’s happiness and safety. “Taylor is awesome! She communicates with me all the time if she’ll be late/early, and gave me updates on my lazy dog. Super sweet person! Definitely trust her dog with her!”

About: I’m the go-to person for caring for my friends’ dogs when they’re busy, whether that’s day sitting or long walks to burn off energy. I love spending time with dogs and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for daytime care, long walks, and last-minute bookings. I’m able to give pets consistent attention and adjust to your dog’s routine as needed. I tailor to each dog’s routine and needs, following their schedule for feeding, walks, and bathroom breaks to keep things consistent and stress-free. I prioritize long, engaging walks so dogs feel exercised and mentally stimulated. Safety is always important to me, attentiveness and ensuring leashes are properly-handled is #1. I make sure dogs are always on-leash outdoors or off-leash only in secure areas. I also respect other dogs’ space and behavior during walks. Communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos to give pet parents peace of mind.
“Veronica has been phenomenal with my sweet yet hyper furball, Petunia. She always goes the extra mile whether she's watching her for hours at my place or just dropping by for a walk. Could not be happier with Veronica's diligence and care and I can rest easy knowing that my girl is in good hands.”

About: Hi, this is Bryan! I have a 5 year-old Yorkie boy (and a cat). We go on walks 3-4 times a day, we clean our face, paws, pp, and butt after each walk. While my dog is a couch-potato when he’s with me, he enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs, big or small. Hair brushing can be therapeutic. My professional background is Marketing, Branding, and Communications. So communication is a big thing for me. I like clear instructions, asking questions, providing updates, etc. Look forward to connecting and helping you with your fur babies! I’m currently a full-time stay home pet parent. So my schedule is highly flexible. It would be great if my 8 lb Yorkie can tag along, but not a must. Also, it would be ideal if I can reserve 3-5 hours/day away from your house during house sitting, to run errands or grab dinner with my husband. Let’s chat and find out the best schedule that works for us. Communications is key. I’m willing to accommodate your requests in taking special care for your pet because you know them the best, and each pet has their own likes and dislikes.

About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs since I was little. Most recently in the last 2 years I made the jump and got my own puppy who was 8 weeks old. I know the ins and outs of being a dog owner! I currently work remotely and have the flexibility to pop in to check on someone’s animal as needed. I enjoy walking my own dog and thought this would be a fun experience! While I go watch dogs at a clients home, I ensure the animal is properly fed and I play with the toys they have. I also ensure everything is placed exactly as it was depending if the animal is crated or not. I like to create trust with animals so they can be more excited to see me
“Melissa has such an obvious love for dogs! I felt so comfortable with leaving June in her hands. She has experience spanning a lot of individual needs and I knew that June would be safe with her.”

“Jillian was so helpful with my pups. She got stuck walking them in the rain and even dried them off after. She also helped feed them when I was gone an excessively long day. Would definitely use her again. Thanks Jillian!”

Outer Richmond dog parents share their Rover experiences
Saagar filled in to cover my buddy Shadow for 3 days last minute and he was excellent! He is very detail oriented, patient and warm. Great photos, reports, and communication. he even worked with him to improve his training / walking behaviors. Every video update from Furbo showed Shadow was very excited when he arrived, and sad to see him go! 110% will be using again!

Samuel did a great job walking Chase every day for a week. He was very communicative and responsive setting up meet and great, and stopping by to pick up instructions and keys. He sent photos of Chase each day on their walks. I would recommend Samuel for dog walking.

Johnny was fantastic with our Benny. Being the first time for us to use a dogwalker, Johnny’s “one dog at a time” philosophy gave us great comfort. He took wonderful care of Benny, and in a short time, Benny grew to eagerly look forward to Johnny’s arrival. After the first walk, when we mentioned “Johnny” in the house, we got lots of tail wags, so we knew the two hit it off. Thanks Johnny!!

Destiny was an absolute lifesaver! I needed a last-minute walker and she came through without hesitation — and honestly, she set the bar high. From the start she was professional, responsive, and just genuinely lovely to work with. She even came prepared with treats, and took the time to ask permission and check about allergies first — such a thoughtful touch that showed she really cares about the dogs in her charge. My pup came home happy, wagging, and gloriously tired (every dog owner's dream!). You can tell he had a great time. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your fur baby — especially on short notice — Destiny is your person. We'll absolutely be booking again!
