“Anais is fantastic! She's responsive, communicates clearly, and treats pets with genuine kindness and care. I trust her completely to walk my dog and always feel confident knowing my pup is in good hands.”

About: While the rest of my family is remarkably allergic to just about anything with fur, I’ve been the odd one out, and able to interact with all kinds of furry friends. I spent a large amount of time during my childhood helping my pediatrician take care of, and walking, their two dogs, a Great Dane, and a Pitbull. Both dogs ended up adoring me, and this eventually extended to any friendly dog I’ve encountered since. My current work situation has me free to provide care for any furry or fuzzy friends most days in the week, with the only limits being some personal commitments on Fridays and Weekends. I follow all provided instructions regarding the pet to the letter, and make sure to check-in with the owners when possible. I make absolutely sure that the pet is comfortable, cared for, and safe for the entire time I’m providing care

“Aaron provided excellent care for our dog Honey. He walked her 6x over 2 weeks. Honey was timid the first couple of times, but Aaron was very patient with her while the trust grew. He’s very communicative and flexible which is greatly appreciated. We’ve already booked him for the next time we need dog walking services!”

About: Hi, this is Bryan! I have a 5 year-old Yorkie boy (and a cat). We go on walks 3-4 times a day, we clean our face, paws, pp, and butt after each walk. While my dog is a couch-potato when he’s with me, he enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs, big or small. Hair brushing can be therapeutic. My professional background is Marketing, Branding, and Communications. So communication is a big thing for me. I like clear instructions, asking questions, providing updates, etc. Look forward to connecting and helping you with your fur babies! I’m currently a full-time stay home pet parent. So my schedule is highly flexible. It would be great if my 8 lb Yorkie can tag along, but not a must. Also, it would be ideal if I can reserve 3-5 hours/day away from your house during house sitting, to run errands or grab dinner with my husband. Let’s chat and find out the best schedule that works for us. Communications is key. I’m willing to accommodate your requests in taking special care for your pet because you know them the best, and each pet has their own likes and dislikes.
About: I started pet sitting in college, assisting at Pet Girls Pet Sitters in Austin, TX. Since then, I've reliably watched my friends' and family's furry friends. I've fostered a handful of dogs, young and old <3, which was such a fun time! I'm currently working part-time during the day and have a flexible schedule. I have a car and a bike and can get around the city reliably. I've fostered a number of dogs, young and old. I have experience hanging out with and taking new-to-me dogs on walks and for playtime.
About: I have cared for cats and dogs my whole life. When I was little I had a Maltese and yorkie and then we had two pit bulls. so I am comfortable caring for both large and small pups! I am available mon-fri and occasional weekends upon request. I recently finished my graduate degree and am using dog walking as a way to support myself while job searching. I can care for pets in clients home. I am unable to take pets to my home as I have my own cats that are not socialized to dogs
“Samuel did a great job walking Chase every day for a week. He was very communicative and responsive setting up meet and great, and stopping by to pick up instructions and keys. He sent photos of Chase each day on their walks. I would recommend Samuel for dog walking.”

We carefully follow feeding, walking, and care instructions, keep a clean environment, and make sure pets feel secure, supervised, and well-loved at all times.
“Taylor is awesome! She communicates with me all the time if she’ll be late/early, and gave me updates on my lazy dog. Super sweet person! Definitely trust her dog with her!”

About: I’ve been walking dogs since my family adopted Baby Bear (not a bear) when I was in middle school. I’m ready to meet a dog exactly where they’re at, which I can usually tell pretty quickly. I’m down to roll around on the ground at a moment’s notice. I mostly work remotely, with flexible hours, and I go for long walks in the middle of the day anyway, so it’s easy to bring a dog along! I can handle basically anything your dog throws at me wlth aplomb, and if the job requires me to be in your home, I’ll show it the utmost respect.

About: I regularly dogsit for 3 separate families (references available upon request) and would love to meet your dog too! I am happy to host your dog at my apartment or stay at your house if that is easier for you. I am also available for scheduled or drop-in walks any time of day. Thank you for reading my profile, looking forward to meeting your pup! I work from home with a flexible schedule and am happy to walk and play with your dog as little as much as they need. We have a decent sized fenced in backyard and I spend a fair amount of time out there too! We live a few blocks from both Golden Gate Park and the Presidio so your dog will have plenty of options for their daily walks! We also have a fenced in backyard.
About: Hey there! My name is Shawna and I'd love to care for your dog! Whether it is a walk (or run) through the park, a mid-day check in, or sleepover, I'll make sure your pet is properly looked after.
“Jesse was super flexible and took care of my baby with last minute notice! Knowing that he was getting attention and exercise from Jesse put this new dog mom at ease while being at work. Will definitely be a regular of Jesse’s clients!”

“Veronica has walked my dog several times now and it’s been seamless every time! She follows all instructions perfectly and when I come home Riley seems super happy/content. Also was able to accommodate a last minute request which was a lifesaver!”

About: Being a remote freelance editor and copywriter, I've got a very flexible schedule and can likely make time for your kitties -- especially if you're in the western neighborhoods of San Francisco, where I can get to you quickly. I do have some blackout weeks and groups of days, but other than that I'm free to roam. The safety of your home and pets are of the greatest importance to me. I'll check in with you as frequently as you'd like about how your pets and your home are faring. I report home issues such as power outages or blown fuses, symptoms your cats might have acquired, or any other serious concerns right away. You should feel as confident and comfortable with me in your home as you would your closest friend.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Outer Richmond
James is an excellent dog walker for our dog, Dory! Dory can be a little shy and wary of strangers, but she really warmed up to James within a pretty short time period. We attribute it to James’ easygoing nature and positive energy. He is incredibly responsive, provides very thoughtful updates, sends many photos of our sweet pup, and always keeps us informed. We are grateful for James and appreciate that he treats our Dory girl with love, kindness, and patience. She seems to enjoy her walking adventures with him! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog walker they can trust!

Sam is really the best! He is punctual, r caring and our dog loved every time he came to the door. We needed him in a pinch for a family emergency and he was so kind to help take care of our dog in a last minute. It removed all worries during a very stressful time. Sam is our first line whenever we need someone. So glad we found him!

Kevin walked our dog everyday in the weeks after we had our first child, and did a great job! He was prompt, communicative and flexible — and our dog loved him. He helped us navigate some of our dogs mobility limitations as well and went above and beyond to help us manage in those very challenging weeks. Not sure how we could have done it without Kevin!! Highly recommend!
It was such a relief to have Flurina’s help walking our dogs these past two weeks! It was super easy to coordinate with her too. I could tell the dogs loved her and we appreciated not having to worry about them being cooped up at home all day while we were at work.
