“Sabina has been an absolute blessing! Boris (my dog) loves Sabina and even knows she's arrived to pick him up before we did! And when they are done with the walk, he is tired. She is prompt, reliable, trustworthy and will update me of the status of the walk which is always comforting. She truly is a compassionate human being and I have never been more satisfied w/ any other dog walker I have used before. I don’t know what we would do without her!”

“Ronnie was great with walking my shy chihuahua mix during a busy week I had. She was very responsive, easy to work with, and was understanding of my dog’s quirks. Recommend and would book again!”

About: I am a life-long dog lover who has looked after the dogs in my family for years, from Australian Shepards to Shih Tzus. I began my career in childcare before transitioning to dog-care in recent years. I have experience with looking after dogs of all ages and sizes, which includes services such as feeding, walking, and daily enrichment or playtime. I am a recent USF graduate with lots of time to spare. I am available everyday, and will accept any time of day to take care of your pup. I am also available on weekends and holidays. When taking care of a pet at a client’s home, I make sure to keep the area clean and tidy for sanitary purposes. I am always sure to use a leash when going for walks or potty breaks, and I truly value feeding all dogs a clean, balanced diet. Playful activities with your canine is always special, and I enjoy playing catch or tug with toys that are available.
About: I can't recall many times in my life when I didn't own pets. From turtles, birds, snakes, and hamsters to cats and dogs; I am an animal person through and through. I've bottle fed squirrels and puppies and kittens, and have had to take my time walking elderly babies who also need help getting up and down. I also have a cat now who has a heart condition, so I understand the importance of thoughtful pet care. Right now I am new to San Francisco. I am a writer looking for work, and my only real obligations are after-school tutoring which I do for 2 hours, 4 days a week. I am capable of following owner instructions within reason. I understand there are various home cultures and I am capable of respecting that. Communication is key.
About: I have spent the past few years caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. It has allowed me to become comfortable handling everything from puppies to seniors. I have gained a proper understanding of body language and different personalities, and I can guarantee to cater your pups needs into our time together. I want to make sure they feel happy, calm, and loved while you’re away. Your dog’s comfort and routine always come first! I have enough flexibility in my schedule to comfortably fit into your dog’s daily routine, whether that means walks, playtime, or just a quick hello! I will try my best to accommodate to your time, and as long as there is communication, we can work something out :) When caring for pet’s in a clients home, I like to keep it as a safe space. I’d treat and love them as my own, and respect any and all boundaries you or your pet has given and communicated to me :)
“I had Taylor walk my dog Ziggy when my regular walker wasn't available, and he did a fantastic job! Taylor has a calm and easygoing vibe, and Ziggy took to him right away. After their walk, Ziggy was completely tuckered out and had one of the best naps ever. I’m really happy with how Taylor handled everything and would definitely recommend him for dog walking!”

“Wei is amazing with my dog - she’s so happy to see Wei for her walks and always comes back tired. Wei is super reliable and very communicative, sending tons of pictures every booking”

About: I have taken care of my own dog since I was around 13 years old and how he is 15 years old🥺. I always dream of having my own golden retriver but haven't had a chance to own one. I am look forward to build my own family with a love of animal within the household. I will I just graduated and currently finding a job. My daily routine is going to the gym at evening and sometine run in the morning. Walking dog will definitely fit my schedule and also help boost my step tracking! I will treat every dog like my own dog. I know people love their dog like their own child I will not hesitate to contact the owner whenever needed. And I believe that sincerity one of the most important thing for being a good pet care.
“Jen was amazing as always!! She walked my reactive, fearful pup Sonny while my boyfriend and I were out of country for a long weekend. As you can imagine, it is hard to leave him with sitters because he can be a little difficult to care for. It is usually very stressful for us. Jen made this trip so enjoyable and worry-free. Jen makes Sonny feel so comfortable. She is extremely patient, understanding and careful with him. Her notes are always thorough and detailed and the photos she sends of our boy are always so adorable. I trust her with my baby completely!”

I’ve also taken pet/house sitting gigs from other work. Im currently part time swim instructor and student on winter break so I’m ready to bundle up outside for some walks on my free time I can share my location during walks and would prefer if you already own a secure harness for me and your pet to use on the walk.
About: I fed, took care of, and administered medicine to my elderly dog from the ages of 14 to 15. Today, I feed my dog and cats at home (when I’m not away for college). I do not offer in-house services, I only offer dog walks. However, I always make sure that pets are safe during walks. I’ve walked my own dog many times.

“Roo was ecstatic to hang with Emily and play fetch when she came back for the second day of walking! Emily was an amazing communicator and easy to work with. Would love to use her again if schedules allow.”

About: I have a cat and have taken care of a husky since she was adopted (3 years ago), so I understand a pet's need for playtime, nap time, and love. I've lived with small dogs for over 10 years and cats for over 20 years. I understand that pets are precious, an extension of us in some ways, and the importance of having healthy, happy animals. I personally enjoy going on long run with high energy dogs. As a long distance runner, I enjoy site seeing with dogs. Even on walks, I often carry my cat on a carrier. I hope to meet animals that need security, love, and lots of playtime. Hi! You can call me Mimi. I'm currently in grad school, studying Industrial and Organizational Psychology online, and my schedule is flexible! As a pet sitter, I prioritize your pets and work my schedule around it. I will follow your pet's care instructions for your home like when are feeding times, which toys are their favorite, when they should be created (or not), or how many miles a day they need to walk.
About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life. I've had 3 family dogs, 2 of which are still with us today! One is pretty rambunctious and the other is pretty calm, so I know how to handle both personalities. My dog that passed was a bigger dog, so you can be sure I can handle any dog of any size as well! I was also up for a position at a dog daycare center but unfortunately couldn't do it due to my schedule. Your pets will be getting so much love and attention with me! I'm currently a college student, so Mondays 11-12, Tuesdays 2-3:30, and Thursday's 2-3:30 I won't be available. Any other times/days I am available to work! Feel free to reach out for my schedule that week though. I care for your pet in your home by of course following the guidelines you give me and using my own experience. Don't worry, I won't feed anything to your dog that you don't want me to (I know they beg with those cute eyes haha).
Lakeshore dog parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received! From the moment we connected, it was clear how attentive, reliable, and genuinely caring K Zin is. My dog was well walked, happy, and clearly comfortable, which means everything to me. Communication was excellent throughout, and I loved the updates and attention to detail. I came home to a calm, well-cared-for pup, which says it all. I would absolutely trust them again!

Catherine was so great! She followed all of my requests and recommendations throughout the week as we got Riley adjusted to some new circumstances in the home. She was very communicative, took lots of photos, kept the GPS on, and wrote thoughtful notes. I’d highly recommend her!

I am so glad to have had Stephanie's help walking and taking care of my boy Kenny while I was out of town for the holidays! She is very friendly, kind, and responsible, and made me felt at ease while being away. We scheduled a meet and greet and also a time to pick up the keys, which was very helpful to go over all of the details beforehand. She was reliable and had great communication throughout which I greatly appreciated. Kenny seemed very comfortable with her and looked like he enjoyed each walk! She went above and beyond to make sure that Kenny was taken care of as well as making sure things were taken care of at my house while I was out. I highly recommend Stephanie if you are looking for help with your pets!
