About: I have worked in dog hotels as an overnight caretaker (no humans, just dogs), I have been a dog walker and a dog owner for nearly my whole life. I trained our family service dog (recently passed) on my own and got her professionally certified. I am home everyday as a homeschooling mom. Your pet is a part of the family while they are here. About: Hi there! I have cared for my own dogs since I was 12 years old and have had 3 other dogs since. I snagged my first pet-sitting gig when I was 13 caring for neighbor's dogs and cats. I started Rover when I was in college and loved it so much that I continued after graduating. I took a short break to volunteer at Muttville but I'm back on Rover and excited to provide the best possible care for your animals. I love getting to know animals and their different personalities, quirks and habits. I understand that, like people, each animal is different. They each have different preferences and needs, which is why I highly encourage a consultation, whether in person or via phone, so I can get to know your pet better before spending more time with them. After all, you know your pet best! I have experience administering most types of medications-- pills, creams, eye-drops, etc. I have cared for senior dogs (my very first dog lived to be 18 years old!) as well as shy, sensitive, anxious or reactive animals. My current dog, Riker, came to us highly anxious from his previous living situation. Through my work with Riker, he has learned to be more confident and comfortable around what used to be his triggers, while I have learned a variety of training methods and tools and understand that each animal may need to be approached a different way. If you have strict training rules, I'm happy to adhere to those to ensure consistency in the animal's routines. I'm fully committed to Rover so my schedule can be very flexible. I'll be able to make adjustments according to you and your animal's needs. I would love to chat through any ground rules or specific needs your animal may require under my supervision. About: I’ve been around dogs pretty much my whole life, whether it was my standard poodle as a young kid, my mini poodle as a teenager or, more recently, the senior dogs I’ve fostered or adopted from Muttville. Dogs have always been in good hands with me. Right now my wife and I have two dachshund chihuahua mixes we adopted at five and six. Our home is a dog home. They’re on the couch, on the bed and even under the covers (if they want to burrow). They’re in the mix and they’re loved. If your dog has medications, I’ve got it. If they have special needs or they’re older and need a slower pace, I have ample experience with that. I’m currently dedicating my time to taking care of pups, so your pup will have my undivided attention throughout the days and evenings. The max amount of time I’d leave your dog alone would be for four hours. I have two dogs of my own that I would keep separate from your dog to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I have a fully fenced backyard with a couple of stairs. I also have pet stairs inside to help senior dogs get up on to the couch and bed

About: I have experience with different dog sizes and breeds. 🐾 My American Akita, Anjie, recently passed after a long, happy life with me. 🐾 Large breeds are especially welcome. 🐾 At this time, I’m focusing on boarding dogs who are generally healthy and comfortable in a home environment. Please share your dog’s age, routine, temperament, and any medical needs when you reach out for booking unless your pet profile is complete. 🐾 I work from home much of the time. I do sometimes need to leave a dog alone. Dogs who are not destructive or prone to significant separation anxiety do not need to be crated unless you prefer that your dog be crated. 🐾 I own my condo, which is calm, clean, and dog-friendly. I welcome your dog’s bed, toys, and familiar items. 🐾 I have a lot of outdoor space on the property and am close to Glen Canyon Park and other walking areas. I have a car, so I can get around easily. Dog Walks (That’s when I come to you.) 🐾 I’m open to afternoon and evening walks. 🐾 I can walk 2-3 dogs from the same family. Care & Safety 🐾 I have supplies like a crate, bowls, shampoo… 🐾 I leash dogs unless they’re in a private space. 🐾 I’m fine crossing the street with your dog if she/he can be reactive.
