I've spent much of my life caring for animals. I started working in dog and cat boarding at a veterinary practice in high school and have since pet and house sat for friends, family, and clients, volunteered with shelter animals through the SPCA, and cared for a wide variety of animals. Professionally, I've spent over a decade in real estate, including owning and operating my own brokerage in Maryland. I'm also an experienced homeowner, having personally undertaken a complete home renovation. When I decided to relocate from the East Coast to the West Coast, pet and house sitting offered a wonderful opportunity to explore new communities while making the transition. Over the past year, I've had the pleasure of caring for some incredible animals throughout California and during my travels. What began as a way to explore has become an especially rewarding extension of my lifelong love of animals. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while you're away. I'll care for your pets like family, communicate thoughtfully, and leave your home just as clean and cared for as you left it.

Allison was absolutely fantastic with our two girls! She provided great updates, lots of pictures, and our dogs seemed like they didn’t miss us at all when we got home. She left our house cleaner than she found it. As someone who can experience some anxiety when I leave our dogs with a new person, Allison is someone who made me feel instantly at ease. I didn’t worry at all when I was gone. Thanks so much, Allison! I’ll definitely be rebooking.
Allison is an excellent pet and house sitter! She left my apartment in perfect condition (clean and tidy, even washed and changed bed sheets) and befriended my shy cats. I came home after a one-week vacation and the kitties were doing great! They certainly enjoyed Allison’s company and care :)
Allison gave my puppy Ollie so much attention and kept me updated. He was so happy when I got home!
Allison has been the best pet sitter I’ve had. I traveled out of the country and was anxious about leaving my dog, cat and chickens. From the start Allison went out of her way to ease my anxiety. Photos every day of my pets at play and leisure. Updates on issues in my neighborhood and home but only to alert me and always taking care of unexpected concerns herself. My requests were quickly taken care of as well. My home was clean and tidy on my return. I highly recommend Allison for any pet sitting position.
Allison was a wonderful dog sitter. She communicated often and clearly, and I always felt like my dogs were well cared for and in good hands. It was clear that she genuinely enjoyed being with the animals and really cared about their well-being. She also went above and beyond in some really thoughtful ways. She made a little photo album of my dogs, organized a few things around the house, and offered helpful suggestions that could make things easier for future sitters. Those extra touches were very much appreciated. I found Allison to be responsible, trustworthy, thoughtful, and caring. I would definitely have her sit for my house and pets again!
