“Sheena is amazing with Burt! I was impressed by her detailed questions to ensure she can provide the best care for our dog. She provided multiple updates and took cute pictures/videos of our fur baby too. Burt and I hope to be one of her regulars for a long time!”

“Stephanie was reliable and communicative, providing regular updates and photos. Our Poppy had a wonderful time and was so well cared for. We’d definitely book with her again! Highly recommended!”

“Genuine people in this world are truly rare treasure! We rescued Rocco from the SPCA and quickly realized he could not be left at home alone while we went to work. I found out about this app a few days later and downloaded it. We were SO nervous leaving Rocco with new people after we just got him, but at the meet and greet Rocco warmed up to Gordon and Allison quickly. My partner are I felt so reassured that Rocco would be safe and cared about. Gordon and Allison are truly the most kind human beings my partner and I have met in a really long time. We were so grateful to find them. They will absolutely take the care of your dog. They took the BEST pictures of Rocco during the day too! My work schedule changed and we no longer need their services. Give them a try, we absolutely loved them and you and your pup will too! 🐾❤️”

“Marie Elenore was amazing with my pup, but also with me as I was running late for the scheduled time. 🐶🐾 Very accommodating. 👍😊 Crinkle definitely had a blast with her. 🎉🥳 Thank you! 🙏💖”

“Amaru had a great time. Cynthia sent pictures, videos, and kept us updated throughout the day. She brought Amaru to his favorite place, Fort Funston! Amaru met new friends and had a great time! Thank you, again, Cynthia & family!”

“Lily took exceptionally amazing care of my dog, Kiwi! I felt 100% comfortable leaving Kiwi in her care while I was busy at work. I appreciated the photo updates throughout the day of Kiwi having a nice time. I am very happy to have found Lily. :)”

“Jayern was wonderful with our Bulldog, he came back tired and happy and was really well looked after! Jayern is super responsive and sends a great report at the end of each day. Jayern really understands the needs of a bulldog, not to overdo it on exercise and the importance of sleep which is really comforting. Jayern is great and couldn't recommend her enough!”

About: We’re Alvin & Ashley, devoted dog parents and partners in life and pet care. We have 25+ years of combined experience. Growing up with dogs and caring for friends’ pups sparked our passion for small‑dog care. Since then we’ve raised our own Cavapoo, Sterling, from puppyhood into adulthood and have hosted dozens of small breeds through Rover. Our experience spans puppies, seniors, anxious rescues and pups with special dietary needs. We are comfortable administering oral medication, supporting post‑surgical dogs and accommodating senior quirks like limited mobility or hearing loss. Your pet receives loving, family-style care, not just a boarding spot. As a husband‑and‑wife team working from home, we devote our days to keeping tiny tails wagging. From morning potty breaks to bedtime cuddles, one of us is always there. If Alvin steps out for an errand, Ashley is here with your pup. If Ashley is busy, Alvin has it covered. We share all care duties, follow your feeding and medication instructions to the letter, and welcome written schedules. Your dog’s safety and comfort are non‑negotiable. We live in a quiet, dog‑friendly housing complex with two on‑site playgrounds designed for small breeds. We also cap groups at one to two small dogs, meaning your pup never has to compete with large breeds. Our home features puppy gates, soft beds, a small metal crate available if needed and multiple living areas so pups can be separated or have private nap time. We’re a non‑smoking household with no children. Dogs are welcome on our furniture and bed if that’s what they’re used to. You’re welcome to bring your dog’s own crate or bedding to help them feel at home. We also provide daily photo and video updates throughout each stay, keeping you connected to your pup’s adventures.

“Irene was good with Mamba. It was Mambas first time and he was very anxious. Irene was very mindful and made sure to want she can to make sure Mamba was less anxious. She took him on a walk and gave him lots of attention.”

“We feel incredibly lucky to have found Renee and Christopher for Chewy’s daycare. They’re easy to work with, send frequent updates, and are clearly very thoughtful dog lovers — our senior dog Chewy seems so happy and comfortable in their home. Chewy often takes a while to warm up to new people, but they were quick to get a read on his personality and have made him feel at ease. When we go to drop him off he usually runs right in without looking back!”

About: About Me: My name is Isabella, living with my family in San Francisco. I grew up with dogs as my parents always had one, then I had my own - a sweet little pug Kokoro. Sadly, Kokoro lost her battle to cancer in 2016 and broke my heart. I am not ready to have a new fur baby, yet, I miss the feeling of having one because the house seems too quiet sometimes. Therefore, having a chance to become a fur baby sitter is actually perfect to share my puppy love. Moreover, I recently delivered a newborn baby, and think it would be a wonderful thing to introduce puppies to my baby. I am pretty experienced with daily caring such as putting in eye drops / ointment, brushing teeth, cleaning ears besides cuddling and playing. When I am home on weekends, I take the fur baby out to potty however often they need. I will treat your fur baby like my own, do my best to follow instruction to take care of him/her, provide a clean, safe and loving home. In addition, I used to be a volunteer at SPCA Burlingame to help puppies to find their fur-ever home because I believe all puppies deserve a loving family. I work from home most of the time, and I normally only host 1 puppy at a time, so you puppy will get my attention and company all the time. I have a fenced yard, and I always walk puppies on leash. My house is close to the park, so puppies get plenty of walks and fresh air everyday.
“Sam was a great dog sitter! We brought our new puppy in and he was very well taken care of. I appreciated the periodic updates and videos she shared throughout the evening, I always felt like our dog was in great hands.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lakeshore
She sent many cute photos and videos of our pup and we felt very assured the whole time that he was in great care. She also has set up a great play area in the yard that shows us how intentionally she interacts with pups. We're definitely booking with her for future needs!

I just adopted a new dog 3 days ago from the shelter who I learned has very bad separation anxiety. My only option was a dog sitter or doggy day care. Kim was extremely accommodating accepting my request only the night prior. I was nervous about leaving my baby with someone we didn't know but Kim soothed those worries in a heartbeat. She sent updates and pictures throughout their time. She was so sweet and I know Milo was in loving hands. I will definitely book with Kim again!

Kami and her boyfriend were such a pleasure to meet! We had to find a sitter last minute and they were so awesome and accommodating. We were able to do a meet and greet the day prior to having them dog sit and it couldn't have gone better. Their communication, flexibility, and care for our dog was beyond what we could expect! If we bring our dog back to the city, no doubt we will reach out to them!!

Oh, where do I start with how much my dog Kony loved being with Jill and her family? First, he walked right up to her door without even noticing I was still there! When I picked him up, he did NOT want to come home with me because he wanted to stay with Jill. I literally had to drag and carry my 50 lb dog out of the house and into the car because he was treated so well at Jill’s. I can now fully trust her to watch Kony weekly and for overnight boarding. I’ll definitely be telling all my dog-parent friends to book her fast — she’s popular for a reason! Thank you, Jill. I truly can’t thank you enough. See you soon!
