About: I spent 6 years volunteering at Animal Care and Control of San Francisco, where I started out helping with adoptions and reuniting lost cats with their families. I went on to volunteer as a PURR (Play, Uplift, Reinforce, Relax) volunteer, specializing in helping new and stray cats settle in, building their confidence and sociability so they're ready for adoption. I worked closely with cats who were shy, scared, or unsure of new people, and learned how to read their body language and let them come to me on their own terms. At home, I'm a longtime cat owner myself (2 cats!) and have informally cat sat for friends, handling feeding, fresh water, litter, and playtime. Whether your cat is the confident, cuddly type or more reserved and needs a slower introduction, I'll take the time to make them feel safe and loved in their own space.

About: I used to raise Irish Setters for many years. Have always had dogs of all varieties....my last pet was with me for 22 years and now I have Ricky. I also welcome extended stays for your pets. They are always welcome here. I work from home all the time and my schedule is my own. I have an enclosed backyard and Ricky and I enjoy time at the local park and going for walks. Enclosed back yard and easy access to my apartment. This is a very safe and welcoming environment that welcomes dogs of all kinds. They cannot exit outside by themselves except to the back yard. They get two good walks every day and several play outings in the backyard to play ball or bathe in the sun.

About: I’ve helped care for my own dogs for the past 10 years! I’ve also done house sitting and walks for other pets/ families as well! I’ve been responsible for feeding, walking and playing with other dogs at others homes. I’m good with all types and sizes, and love making a safe and comfortable atmosphere for them while they’re with me! I offer walking, sitting, check ins and will be sure to get them out and about while being careful to cater to any specific needs your dog may have! I’m currently working a part time job, with mostly 4-6 hour shifts so it gives me a lot of room for time with the dogs! I’m available most mornings for walks (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) and am happy to sit any days of the week/weekends if I’m able to leave the dog alone for work during those requested days. About: At home, I have 3 dogs (a bernese and two leonbergers). I grew up with large dogs and have experience walking multiple dogs together, taking care of multiple dogs at a time, and training. I am a student at UCSF go to class three times per week for a couple hours. Otherwise, I am home! She was incredibly communitive, sent us a ton of updates (pictures, videos, and words), treated our girl in the way she's comfortable with - taking it slow, not crowding her, etc. Maria's dog Sparky was probably a little more high energy than Beadie would have liked (what she prefers is very low, so this definitely isn't saying Sparky is crazy high energy), but they definitely got along and I wasn't concerned about that. She was also very flexible when we missed a flight and needed to leave her for an extra night. All in all, I highly recommend. I really don't like leaving my girl at all, but I was much more comfortable with Maria taking care of her than I expected or even hoped.”
