About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with dogs and cats! I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m just as comfortable playing with a social cat as I am sitting quietly with a shy one and letting them decide when to approach. About: I used to raise Irish Setters for many years. Have always had dogs of all varieties....my last pet was with me for 22 years and now I have Ricky. I also welcome extended stays for your pets. They are always welcome here. I work from home all the time and my schedule is my own. I have an enclosed backyard and Ricky and I enjoy time at the local park and going for walks. Enclosed back yard and easy access to my apartment. This is a very safe and welcoming environment that welcomes dogs of all kinds. They cannot exit outside by themselves except to the back yard. They get two good walks every day and several play outings in the backyard to play ball or bathe in the sun.

About: Will subtly train dogs, while also taking care of them. Cautious and attentive with every doggo in my care - because I know how important they are to their humans! For House sitting/ Boarding- My office is only 5 minutes from my home and allows dogs to come with me to the office. This helps with dogs that may have special needs, or need to be taken outside more frequently. The office is in a charming Castro neighborhood, safe, clean sidewalks, and near Dolores with plenty of grass to take care of business. Otherwise I can just drive over and let them out. Every 2-3 hours. I’m home from work by 6pm Weekdays. Evening walks every night usually 30-45min. Free all day Sat/Sun to take dogs hiking or beach, river. Bathe them if need it, feed pups and call it a day. Pets are treated like family in my home. They can sleep in the bed, sit on couch. They’ll have a separate eating place from my dog. My dog is not protective at all of her food anyway. They can observe me make food, but will learn not to beg, and will not be given any human food. I have a small back patio, it’s not much but if they want to sit in the sun they can go out there. It’s large enough for them to play together too. For the bathroom breaks we take neighborhood walks to Precita Park, Bernal, Starr King or Dolores Park.

Since all I need is WiFi to get my work done, I’m also happy to spend the day at your home so your furry friend never has to be alone. My two bedroom apartment has plenty of cozy lounging space and I’m just an 8 minute walk from the park, so walks are quick, easy and never feel like a chore. Even when I don’t have a pet with me, I love stepping outside for a little fresh air during breaks, coffee runs or just to stretch my legs. Getting to share that time with a pet by my side is honestly one of my favorite parts of the day.

About: Growing up, my family had 3 cats and 2 dogs. I’ve always been an animal lover. When I was 21, I was in college in New Orleans and I found a stray cat living under my house. When it was time to move, I took her with me and took care of her for years before giving her to my family so she could stay in New Orleans and live with other pets. About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with dogs and cats! I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.
“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”
About: Hi there! I've been a pet owner my entire life. I grew up with cats and dogs of all breeds and I've been caring for pets as long as I can remember. Now, for the first time in my life, I don't have any pets, and honestly, I miss having them around - which is exactly why I'm excited to care for yours! I was active in 4-H and trained Belgian Sheepdogs in positive-reinforcement based obedience. I've owned dogs as small as a Japanese Chin and as big as a Newfoundland, so I understand different dog temperaments and energy levels. I've also been watching friends' and neighbors' pets for several years, including high-anxiety cats, senior dogs, and recent rescues - helping them to feel calm and secure while away from their family. I work from home full-time, so your pet will never be left alone for long. For play time, potty break, and snuggles, I'll be there. I can easily walk dogs multiple times a day and will be around most of the day to keep any dog or cat visiting me company. Sometimes I may pop out for a gym session or grocery run, but that's about it. I mostly just miss having a pet so I'll be so happy to be around yours! I have no pets of my own currently. I live in a secure, quiet apartment. Depending on pet needs and temperament, they can have the run of the apartment or be limited to the main living room (which is where I work). My apartment has no yard but I'm in a great neighborhood for walks and I make sure doggies get plenty of fresh air. Since it is an apartment, if your dog is extremely active and boisterous, they may be happier boarding somewhere with more room to run.

About: I’ve taken care of all dogs, and had an English Cream Golden Retriever named Lucy growing up. I trained her as a puppy and cared for her all the way into senior care. I’m great with all pet ages, don’t mind washing/cleaning your pet, giving long walks, or anything else your pet loves to do. I will always make sure your pet has the best time when they’re with me! Pet care is best for me from Thursdays - Sundays, as well as holidays. I work full time in person, but am back home usually by 5:15. I make sure to write down everything about the dog. Eating schedule, bathroom schedule, etc. Recently, I just set up a camera for the dog I just dogsat to make sure nothing is going wrong. I clean the dog’s paws to ensure that they aren’t dirtying the home. I also vacuum and wipe down once a day. I would love to meet you and your pet!
About: I just moved here from Boulder, Colorado. I have a flexible schedule and can check in on your animal throughout the day. I have experience with cats and dogs - and have 2 cats myself! I just moved to the city and my partner and I have flexible work from home hour. We would love to watch your furry friends while you’re away. I treat all animals that I watch as if they are my own.
