“Christopher was fantastic! Really communicative and took great care of our dog when she was recovering from surgery. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“Jordan is excellent! Great communication and always lets my sometimes nervous/timid pup lead the way! Will definitely keep using Jordan for walks and pet care!”

About: I grew up in a family where every house had a dog, so being around them was just part of life. I helped feed them, walk them, and train them from the time I was a kid. Over the years, I picked up on their moods and needs without even thinking about it. It wasn’t just about taking care of dog it was just what we did, and it taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and how to really connect with animals. I currently have open availability due to taking a break from school at the moment. Right now I have all the time for pet care. I care for pets by keeping their routine consistent, giving them lots of attention, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. With experience from my own cats and growing up around dogs, I’ve learned to read their needs and treat them like family.

“A saving grace! I needed last minute (literally a few hours before) help to exercise Goose. Andrea was reliable, prompt, and gave ample updates. Thank you for making my day a little less crazy.”

“Simonee did a great job taking care of my fur babies! I have three of them to take care of, so appreciated her being able to follow through on the care instructions. I could tell she loves animals based on our meet and greet :), so knew they were in good hands.”

About: My name is Megan and I currently live in San Francisco, CA. I would love to provide care for your dog. I am an experienced previous dog owner and experienced pet sitter. I am able to board, feed, walk, and any other necessary care. I am also open to taking care of any other pets you have (cats, fish, rabbits and bearded dragons are some of the pets that I have experience with caring for). Please feel free to contact me here or at the phone number provided if you are interested. Thank you! I teach at a school that is three blocks from my house from 9am-4:30pm, so I can come home for lunch break walks if needed. I can walk dogs before and after school and let the dog into my backyard garden at any time. On the weekends, I can take dogs to the beach or on other fun outdoor adventures! I have taken care of people’s’ pets in a number of ways. I have stopped by people’s’ houses for care, boarded pets, and stayed overnight in pets’ homes.

About: I've taken care of dogs ever since I was 8 and now that I can't raise my own due to allergies and fears in the family, I dream to be a good auntie to pets around me by pet-sitting. I currently work in the San Francisco peninsula and spend my break walking for up to 50 minutes at time. I'm looking for company and would love to walk dogs while I'm out. I have a fenced backyard and a bed for pets to lay on. I am careful to follow instructions and am aware of what is unsafe for dogs.

“Alejandra was prompt, friendly and great about communicating. She was great with Luke and even took him to the beach because she knew he’d like it. Also made sure to check him for ticks and sand. He came back happy, tired and clean. Thank you Alejandra!”

“It was my first time using the Rover app and I was nervous choosing a new cat sitter for my babies while I was away on vacation. Kayla was very kind and did a meet & greet with the kitties before accepting the job. I felt very comfortable and at ease with her attention to detail when giving instructions on their food and daily routine. She went above and beyond to make sure the cats felt comfortable and gave them some love while I was away. They both loved her and she sent me photos of each day to make sure they were okay. She takes care of your pets as if they are her own. Thanks Kayla for everything you did for Cheshire & Panther! I’m so happy I met Kayla through Rover and plan to book with her in the future.”

About: Growing up with the dog and working at a dog grooming store has given me a unique perspective on pet care. Over the years, my hands-on experience with dogs has sharpened my understanding of their behaviors, needs, and preferences. In the grooming store, I’ve learned the art of grooming and the importance of maintaining a clean, healthy coat. This combination of personal and professional experience allows me to offer a tailored, holistic approach to pet care that prioritizes each dog’s comfort, health, and happiness. I am currently a student and work part-time at the dog grooming store. One weekdays and weekends are free for the pet care schedule. You can also drop off doggie at my workplace. I live in an SFH with a fenced yard. The park near my address, with walking trails and a dog play area, is a 5-minute walking distance.

About: Your pup will be in good hands! If you're new to Rover, use my code to save $20! NANCYC19805 My partner Andy and I both work from home so your pet will have plenty of care and attention throughout the day! We live in a 3 story home with a backyard and long driveway for dog runs. We live 10 minutes from 2 great parks. We both grew up with pets, both cats and dogs. Our fur-baby Coco (french bulldog) passed away in Fall 2022 and we miss her very much. We have experience with pets with mobility needs, shy/nervous pets, and pets that need medication. Although we have stairs, we are happy to carry your pet up and down the stairs, and we have a ramp to help them up the couch. We currently work from home and can give your pet as much (or as little) attention as they need. We typically do 2 long walks and 2 short walks a day, but let us know what works best for your pup! On the weekends, we like to go to the park nearby or drive to parks in different neighborhoods and walk around. Let us know if there's anything special in taking care of your pet and we'll accommodate. I have a fenced yard to allow for quick breaks for your pet. We allow pets on our couch for cuddles, as long as they behave. Typically, we crate dogs at night, so please bring your dog’s crate for overnight stays. We have stairs leading up to our living room. We are happy to carry your pup up if under 30 lbs.

“I am SO thankful to have found Cam to care for my 2 kitties. My other sitter ghosted and I was in a pinch. Cam responded quickly to my request on Rover and saved the day. Cam is by far the best pet sitter I’ve worked with! Sending daily photos, videos, and thorough updates. Can’t recommend Cam enough!!”

About: We're a dog loving family of 4, 5 if you include our sweet and calm labradoodle, Gus. Our 6 year old loves dogs so much that she wants 100 more and our 1 year old is quickly becoming the same way. We thought this would be a great way for the kids to "get" 100 more dogs. My husband and I both work from home so we have plenty of time to take your sweet pup outside. We live 2 blocks from John McLaren park and can go for nice scenic walks. Gus does sleepovers with his best doggie friend most weekends, so he's not at home from Friday afternoons till Sunday mornings, so if we watch your dog over a weekend, they will get all the love and attention to themselves. We have a fenced backyard where they can go out to play and a very quiet neighborhood in Portola to go on nice long walks

About: Greetings, Fellow Fur-Parent! Allow me to introduce myself—I'm Nini, a devoted fur mama with four years of joyous experience. My journey began with my beloved pup, Jax, who I've nurtured since he was a mere 8 weeks old. Together, we've navigated the adventures and quirks of raising what I proudly believe to be the world's best pup. For the past four years, I've extended my love and care to the cherished dogs of friends and family, gaining their trust and the wagging approval of pups ranging from 12-week-old bundles of energy to 7-year-old wise and mellow companions. If you're looking for someone who will treat your fur baby with the same affection and attentiveness as you do, I'd be thrilled to offer my services. Feel free to reach out for more info or a meet and greet! As a dedicated stay-at-home mom, I am raising one fur baby and two human children. While my schedule is often busy, I prioritize daily walks, which provide essential time for myself. I am seeking to earn some extra income during these walks, ensuring I can maintain this crucial routine for both my well-being and the well-being of my family. As a dedicated and experienced pet sitter, I offer comprehensive in-home pet care tailored to your needs. While overnight stays are not feasible due to my responsibilities as a mom to two young children, I am available for regular in-home visits to ensure your pets receive the best care. My services include: Feeding: Providing meals according to your pet's schedule and dietary requirements. Medication Administration: Ensuring your pet receives any necessary medications safely and on time. Grooming: Brushing your pet's fur to keep them clean and comfortable. Companionship: Spending quality time with your pet, offering affection and attention to keep them happy. Outdoor Activities: Taking your pet outside for bathroom breaks and engaging walks to keep them active and healthy. You can trust that I will treat your pets with the same care and love I give my own fur baby.

About: I have rescued dogs for many years. Volunteer at dog rescues regularly. The person who will stop to pet every dog I pass. I know all the dogs in my neighborhood but couldn't tell you what the owners look like. ;) I talk to dogs I pass in the street. Yes, I'm that person ;) I only board 1 dog or dogs from the same family at a time. This allows me to see to the needs of your dog and minimise chaos, allowing for a relaxed experience for your dog. I love puppy cuddles and sloppy face kisses. I'm particularly good at belly rubs and finding that spot that makes the leg go crazy. Usually walk the dogs first thing in the morning, last thing before bed, immediately as I get back from work. The after work walk tends to be a long one. Sometimes includes a trip to the park for fetch. I love to hike and take long walks. Enjoy taking water friendly dogs to the reservoir in McLaren park for a swim and socialising. Also to play fetch. Unless I am told your dog is good off leash and I have tested their recall, I won’t do off leash walks. I do have a fenced backyard for off leash time.
