About: Hi I’m Mmezi, I’m based at lower Bernal Heights looking to dog walker and dogsit. I grew up with a rescue Pit Bull and Boxer, which made me very comfortable and confident working with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Available for - Morning, midday and evening - Walking and overnight boarding - Drop off and pick up from salon appointments - One on one or group walks I have a very flexible schedule and am available for morning, midday, and evening dog walks, as well as overnight boarding. I love spending time with dogs and will make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. If you feel like I’d be a good fit for your pup, please reach out. :) Currently working a restaurant job one night a week (generally Saturday). I usually wake up around 7am and am out the house and moving by 8:30am. Nothing but free time for walks and fetch. Usually find myself back home around 4/5pm to make dinner and wind down. Dog boarding: small fenced in yard, free to roam apartment, potty break as much as needed since I’ll be home. Dog walking: will mostly be walking around Precita Park, Bernal Heights, and Noe Valley areas and provides as many water breaks as needed.

Nora is incredibly nervous and shy around new people, but they were patient and gentle with her and were able to get her to relax and trust them over the course of just a short stay. We are often nervous leaving Nora with someone new, but Cristina and Ernesto eased our concerns, and it was clear from the start how committed they were to giving Nora (and us) a positive experience, including thoroughly reading through our notes ahead of time. “I planned a week long trip and was desperate to find someone to take care of my puppy, Biscuit. I looked everywhere for a place good enough to take care of my baby. I even ruled out most of my friends and family because they wouldn't have enough experience to be a good sitter. I looked at kennels but I didn't want him to be caged up for such a long time. Her profile was the most comprehensive and well thought out so gave her a call to set up a meeting. We met at dog park which I was a little nervous about because Biscuit is pretty scared of other dogs. Allison's dog Moses was very social and really good with him so I was relieved. Allison and her husband Gordon were also great. They asked a lot of questions and wanted to make sure that they kept Biscuits on his regular routine. On the trip Allison sent about 7 or 8 pictures every other day and let us know how he was doing. That is a big plus and really put me at ease so I could enjoy my vacation. He looked like he was having such a good time I was worried that he would want to stay. I highly recommend Allison as a sitter and would definitely use her services again soon.”

I definitely recommend Leila for your pet care needs. Our dog Charlie stayed with her for 4 days. Her kind, loving and patient demeanor were a good match for Charlie, who can be anxious around new people and sounds. With a fully fenced in backyard for Charlie to run around and a double door entryway, I knew Charlie would be happy, safe and secure. Leila asked good questions in advance, and she read and followed my notes on Charlie’s routine and fresh food diet. From the updates and photos she sent, I could see how at home Charlie felt at Leila’s. I am glad we trusted Leila to take care of Charlie and would do so again.
Brian was fantastic! He kept us updated throughout the entire stay, and Blue seemed to really take to him. He was very thoughtful about understanding how to best care for Blue and took the time to learn his routines, quirks, and needs. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing Blue was in such attentive and capable hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup and would absolutely book with Brian again. Highly recommend! 🐾

I had my dog Heenae in care with Julian and her partner for 2.5 weeks, and they were amazing! They read and followed my care manual for her, and Heenae came back loved, cuddled, happy, content, and healthy. They were very responsive and sent me pictures every day! Highly recommend, will have them take care of Heenae again.
Super thankful for Durva’s help, last minute! The initial meet & greet was super easy to set up, and the care that our dog, Cali, received was wonderful. Durva provided healthy alternatives when separation anxiety prevented Cali from eating her typical foods. We received great communication and photos throughout Cali’s stay, which allowed us to vacation with the peace of mind that our pup was well-taken care of. Would definitely book again!
Nothing but rave reviews for Rachel and Ryan. They took exceptional care of my rescue tripod. Immediately, I could tell that Rachel and Ryan had a genuine love of animals and lots of dog ownership knowledge. Despite having an urgent last-minute flight home, I felt completely reassured boarding my sometimes nervous/anxious dog with them. They shared so many wonderful updates and photos during Joon’s stay. With other Rovers, I’m often staring at my phone anxious for updates but I never worried with Rachel and Ryan. Charlie and Bonnie were wonderful companions for my pup, Joon, who does not have a lot of other doggy friends to play with! Everyone made Joon feel right at home. Cannot recommend boarding with Rachel, Ryan, Bonnie and Charlie enough!

When Winter got sick during his stay (and we were out of town), we were so grateful how Clarice took care of him, bringing him to the vet and hospital and checking in on him during the whole experience. She was great about communicating with us during the whole experience and she treated our Winter like he was her own dog... we could tell how much she cared.
Anne Marie hosted my dog Ava for just a day/night, but it was long enough to show she's a great host and caretaker. She took Ava out on a bunch of walks and sent some great photos. Ava was clearly having a blast. Anne Marie took care to learn all about Ava's idiosyncrasies. And when Ava was whining at night over not being let into the bedroom, Anne Marie went and slept next to her on the couch. Above and beyond! Thanks Anne Marie! I hope Ava gets to stay over again.
