She was so excited to see Terry and her dog Ricky again! Pilo would always be anxious when I'd take her to a dog daycare center so it was very special to see her light up like that. Terry and her husband are so kind. Very happy to know Pilo is in a safe and loving home when I need to be away.”

“This was my first time using this service and to be honest, in the past, Stoli stayed at dog hotels or at my friends. This time, I tried something new. And I don't think I will be going back to the hotels. Stoli had such a great time, he didn't even want to come home! He was excited to see me but not his usual excitement. I think he wanted to stay with Allison and her family for a longer time. Allison and her husband are great dog sitters as Stoli settled in quickly and enjoyed himself. If I were to use this service again, I would try to book it again with Allison as she made me feel comfortable from the beginning during the meet and greet and during Stoli's stay. She was very responsive in a timely manner and gave great updates that included pictures. I give her and husband 5 stars for watching my "kid". ”

“Sonia was truly wonderful with my senior dog, Lola. From the start, she was responsive, kind, and clearly experienced. She had my care notes printed and ready when I dropped Lola off, asked thoughtful questions, and kept me updated throughout the week with lots of photos—which brought so much peace of mind while I was traveling. She was also incredibly flexible, even adjusting plans when my flight was delayed and willing to drop Lola off when I returned. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and takes the responsibility seriously. Lola was safe and well cared for, and I really appreciated the attention Sonia gave to all of her special needs. Jessie was so sweet and caring with Dorie! We were so grateful she was able to sit for us last minute after another sitter needed to cancel. Very communicative and flexible to accommodate Dorie's needs. Dorie came home happy and tired after having a little backyard to herself all weekend!
Nothing but rave reviews for Rachel and Ryan. They took exceptional care of my rescue tripod. Immediately, I could tell that Rachel and Ryan had a genuine love of animals and lots of dog ownership knowledge. Despite having an urgent last-minute flight home, I felt completely reassured boarding my sometimes nervous/anxious dog with them. They shared so many wonderful updates and photos during Joon’s stay. With other Rovers, I’m often staring at my phone anxious for updates but I never worried with Rachel and Ryan. Charlie and Bonnie were wonderful companions for my pup, Joon, who does not have a lot of other doggy friends to play with! Everyone made Joon feel right at home. Cannot recommend boarding with Rachel, Ryan, Bonnie and Charlie enough!
Stephanie and Matthew took great care of Kira, were accommodating in pick up and drop off, and were communicative with updates about her when we were away. They seem to be very responsible pet parents and Kira enjoyed her time with them and Heath. Would love to work with them again!
If you want complete peace of mind, hire Viktoriya. She was phenomenal with Ivy, sending constant updates and taking her on multiple long walks daily. She was so attentive to Ivy’s needs and made sure she was totally comfy on the sofa or bed. Ivy felt such an instant connection with her that when I dropped her off, she didn't even look back at me. Nicole was the perfect sitter for our senior golden retriever! We've used Rover many times, and Nicole stands out as the best. We had complete confidence that our dog was well taken care of and adored while we were away. Nicole went above and beyond to work with us on an unusual dropoff situation we had to coordinate through a friend while we were out of town, and gracefully handled a tense dog interaction at the park that not everyone would manage so well. She was easy to communicate with and very prompt to reply, and kept us up to date with pictures and videos of how our dog was doing. We will happily trust Nicole with our dog again in the future!
Betty looked after our 5 yr old dog Luna while we were gone for a week on an international trip. It was our first time boarding Luna with her so we arranged to meet her beforehand and she very kindly gave us a tour of the areas where Luna would be staying. During the stay, Betty was very communicative, sharing photo updates regularly, and attentive - taking extra time to ensure our shy pup ate well, which was so appreciated! She provided Luna with regular exercise and play time at the park with the other pups, and she offered Luna a separate, quiet space to recharge when needed. All in all we feel very lucky to have found her for the stay and would certainly request her services again. Highly recommend :)
Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!
When Winter got sick during his stay (and we were out of town), we were so grateful how Clarice took care of him, bringing him to the vet and hospital and checking in on him during the whole experience. She was great about communicating with us during the whole experience and she treated our Winter like he was her own dog... we could tell how much she cared.
Our dogs LOVED staying with Abby. We’ve got 2 pretty big dogs (golden and lab) and they were exhausted when we got them back. Abby and her family gave them so much love (beach, parks, walks and more) and made us feel very comfortable by sending pics and updates of all their adventures. HIGHLY recommend choosing Abby to care for your pups. We’ll be back!
Celina was really amazing through our entire process of reaching out and boarding my 3 year old dog reactive Shepard mix. We went with a full week and through that Celina was amazing by prioritizing safety and comfort for both my pup and I.
