“I could tell our dog had a great time with Alvin! He was incredibly understanding, attentive and sent us regular updates. He had no problem giving our dog his medicine as well. Our dog can be a handful and has a lot of energy - Alvin made sure to provide daily walks, play time and cuddles. He was also very mindful when having our dog & his dog meet and get used to each other. Our dog was well taken care of and we are so grateful :) We would definitely let our dog stay with him again. We recommend Alvin if you’re looking for someone kind, accommodating, and devoted to making your dog comfortable!”

“Cesar and his partner took care of my little man last minute. Stewart is a senior and is a newer rescue to me and has less than perfect house training skills. We're working on them at home and have a good routine but I wasn't sure how he would be at a strangers home. I didn't hear much about it which I appreciate because I was worried for any hassle incurred. I received several updates and pictures where it was clear Stewart was well taken care of. I would give Cesar and his partner 10 stars if I could, so thankful to them both for their excellent care of my little one.”

“Randy was an absolutely wonderful caretaker for my corgi, Chunks. A day before his stay, we discovered a foxtail in Chunks’s paw, and he needed antibiotics and special care. Randy took care of administering the medication and keeping Chunks’s paw clean, which was so helpful and appreciated. We loved the picture updates Randy sent, and we could tell that Chunks was having a blast! Thank you Randy for everything!”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

“My dog is 12 years old, visually impaired w/severe cataracts, has arthritis in his hind legs so he can’t go up/down stairs and struggles to walk (35lbs which can be a bit heavy for people to carry), and is diabetic, requiring insulin injections 2x daily at 7:30am/pm. I used to board him but (understandably) they weren’t comfortable taking him at the doggy hotel anymore because they couldn’t give him the attention he needs with all the other dogs. So I turned to Rover. When we met Christina, we arrived at her home with my pup’s tush covered in poop cuz he had an accident in the car while sitting. I wouldn’t have been surprised if she turned us away after - not a great first impression! Silly me. She got out some wipes and took the time to carefully and gently clean him. Christina was very thorough in understanding what he needed, asking questions instead of just guessing or assuming. She sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the weekend, and when I picked him back up, most importantly, he was happy and doing great. I missed him a lot when I was away, but I didn’t worry about him, which is incredible. I cannot thank Christina enough for giving me that peace of mind.”

“The second time I left Pilo with Terry was when I truly knew she was in great hands. Pilo began to wag her tail as we walked up the stairs once she recognized where she was. She was so excited to see Terry and her dog Ricky again! Pilo would always be anxious when I'd take her to a dog daycare center so it was very special to see her light up like that. Terry and her husband are so kind. Very happy to know Pilo is in a safe and loving home when I need to be away.”
