“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

Our rescue pup Coco passed away in Fall 2022 and we miss her very much. We now have Lulu (a sweet 9yo french bulldog) who we rescued from the same organization. Through our foster and Rover experiences, we have cared for many animals with different needs. We have experience with pets with mobility needs, shy/nervous pets, and pets that need medication. Although we have stairs, we are happy to carry your pet up and down the stairs, and we have a ramp to help them up the couch. We currently work from home and can give your pet as much (or as little) attention as they need. We typically do 2 longer walks and 2 short walks a day, but let us know what works best for your pup! On the weekends, we like to go to the park nearby or drive to parks in different neighborhoods and walk around. Let us know if there's anything special in taking care of your pet and we'll accommodate. I have a fenced yard to allow for quick breaks for your pet. We allow pets on our couch for cuddles, as long as they behave. Typically, we crate dogs at night, so please bring your dog’s crate for overnight stays. We have stairs leading up to our living room. We are happy to carry your pup up if under 30 lbs.

About: I’ve hosted dogs for many years of various ages. Some have had anxiety and medication needs as well. My dog loves having friends over. I work from home full time so they receive a lot of attention. I’m taking a break from full time work so I’m very flexible with timing of walks and frequency as well. I have full availability on most days. My dog is very adjustable with timings as well I’m able to adjust to various dog’s needs. I have experience crating dogs. Usually if they are non shedding they are allowed on all the furniture and bed. I can take dogs out for however long they need, and have flexibility with timing.

They may sleep in their crate at night in case of emergencies or at the owner’s request, but we normally allow dogs to sleep with us on the bed! NOTE 2: my parents come over with their 16 year old maltipoo (10 lbs) approximately 3 times a month, so your dog must be okay with other dogs and may meet my parents dog. NOTE 3: We currently board up to 2 dogs at the same time (if my parents’ dog is here, there may be 3 dogs max). If you prefer to have us board only your dog during the time you need, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we may be able to accommodate your dog. NOTE 4: we prefer small dogs, but can make exceptions for medium dogs (up to 30 lbs) on a case by case basis, so please don’t hesitate to reach out! NOTE 5: We don’t accept pee pad trained dogs. Your dog must be house trained. We have a fenced backyard and can let your dog out frequently for potty breaks. About: I have worked in dog hotels as an overnight caretaker (no humans, just dogs), I have been a dog walker and a dog owner for nearly my whole life. I have my own 7-year old Australian terrier who is well-trained and exceptionally friendly. I have always loved walking and take my Gracie on long walks and to local area parks everyday (including Dolores Park, which is directly across the street from my home; as well nearby Duboce, Alamo Square Park and others). I’d be delighted to have your small to medium-sized dog join us as one off occasion or on a regular basis. In addition, I also board dogs for overnights and longer stays. While advance notice of a week to several days is preferred, I know unexpected situations can arise and do my best to be available on short notice. I have a car now so I can do pickups and drop offs. I am fully vaccinated as well Below are photos of my dog Gracie and me as well as previous clients. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I’m more than happy to provide references upon request. I’m currently retired so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby, be it doggy day-care or dog boarding. I enjoy taking dogs out for long walks. I provide all dogs with a safe environment. My backyard is fenced in and I can also allow dogs to eat in different areas if necessary. Dogs will be walked every 2 hours.

They sent videos and photos everyday and ask me questions about Domingo's diet. They also helped with training him not to pull on the leash. They both love dogs and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

About: Hi there! I've been a pet owner my entire life. I grew up with cats and dogs of all breeds and I've been caring for pets as long as I can remember. Now, for the first time in my life, I don't have any pets, and honestly, I miss having them around - which is exactly why I'm excited to care for yours! I was active in 4-H and trained Belgian Sheepdogs in positive-reinforcement based obedience. I've owned dogs as small as a Japanese Chin and as big as a Newfoundland, so I understand different dog temperaments and energy levels. I've also been watching friends' and neighbors' pets for several years, including high-anxiety cats, senior dogs, and recent rescues - helping them to feel calm and secure while away from their family. I work from home full-time, so your pet will never be left alone for long. For play time, potty break, and snuggles, I'll be there. I can easily walk dogs multiple times a day and will be around most of the day to keep any dog or cat visiting me company. Sometimes I may pop out for a gym session or grocery run, but that's about it. I mostly just miss having a pet so I'll be so happy to be around yours! I have no pets of my own currently. I live in a secure, quiet apartment. Depending on pet needs and temperament, they can have the run of the apartment or be limited to the main living room (which is where I work). My apartment has no yard but I'm in a great neighborhood for walks and I make sure doggies get plenty of fresh air. Since it is an apartment, if your dog is extremely active and boisterous, they may be happier boarding somewhere with more room to run.

About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with dogs and cats! I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.

About: I've had dogs my entire life until recently and would like to take care of yours with as much love as I've given mine. Experience with both large and small breeds. I have a lifetime of experience. I work from home and can take care of your dogs on your preferred feeding and care schedule. Whatever works for you will work for me. I have a fenced yard at my house. There is a set of stairs to get in and out. I can carry dogs up to 30 pounds if needed, but larger dogs will need to be able to climb stairs.
