About: I love animals so much but unfortunately can’t have pets at the moment, so I’d be happy to care for yours :’) I’ve had dogs most of my life and trained our puppies when we brought them home, so I’m very comfortable with any size pup. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter periodically, since elementary school. In the last 5 years I have dog and cat sat for friends, neighbors and coworkers. I enjoy being able to lend a helping hand and spend time with animals whenever I can, so thought I’d try rover and expand my network a little. I currently work from home but am unable to have a pet so I would love to get some dog or cat time in by taking care of your fur baby while you're away! I currently live with no other pets. We live in a 3 story home with a backyard and long driveway for dog runs. We live 10 minutes from 2 great parks. We both grew up with pets, both cats and dogs. Our rescue pup Coco passed away in Fall 2022 and we miss her very much. We now have Lulu (a sweet 9yo french bulldog) who we rescued from the same organization. Through our foster and Rover experiences, we have cared for many animals with different needs. We have experience with pets with mobility needs, shy/nervous pets, and pets that need medication. Although we have stairs, we are happy to carry your pet up and down the stairs, and we have a ramp to help them up the couch. We currently work from home and can give your pet as much (or as little) attention as they need. We typically do 2 longer walks and 2 short walks a day, but let us know what works best for your pup! On the weekends, we like to go to the park nearby or drive to parks in different neighborhoods and walk around. Let us know if there's anything special in taking care of your pet and we'll accommodate. I have a fenced yard to allow for quick breaks for your pet. We allow pets on our couch for cuddles, as long as they behave. Typically, we crate dogs at night, so please bring your dog’s crate for overnight stays. We have stairs leading up to our living room. We are happy to carry your pup up if under 30 lbs.

About: I used to raise Irish Setters for many years. Have always had dogs of all varieties....my last pet was with me for 22 years and now I have Ricky. I also welcome extended stays for your pets. They are always welcome here. I work from home all the time and my schedule is my own. I have an enclosed backyard and Ricky and I enjoy time at the local park and going for walks. Enclosed back yard and easy access to my apartment. This is a very safe and welcoming environment that welcomes dogs of all kinds. They cannot exit outside by themselves except to the back yard. It’s always challenging leaving your pup with a new sitter, but Sonia’s frequent communication relieved all nerves. She ensured Poppy was at home from the minute she arrived. “Our dog Coffee had a wonderful 5-night stay with Laura while we were out of state traveling. She went out of her way to make sure Coffee was comfortable in the space before we left on our trip, and we felt confident the entire time that Coffee was being well cared for. We received regular updates with pictures. Right before our trip, Coffee was put on a course of antibiotics and Laura was wonderful in adding the medication into Coffee's care schedule, despite his strong aversion to medication of any kind! We had a fantastic experience with Laura, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others.”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs ranging from short visits to nearly 2 months at a time, including watching two dogs simultaneously. Comfortable with multiple dogs at once and experienced with longer stays I’m a college student home for the summer so I have a very flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for most services and can work around whatever routine works best for you and your pet I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel comfortable and at ease. I have a cat at home so I’m experienced with pets in a home setting. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. Overnight stays are available up to 3 days at my place
