Your dog will have full access to my apartment and a shared, fenced yard (my neighbor’s dog is sometimes in the yard too.) I am happy to crate your dog if they feel more comfortable with that, but I do not require a crate unless your dog has separation anxiety and/or chews things. Dogs are allowed on the bed in my home

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors. I board dogs who are generally comfortable around children and other dogs since my neighborhood is full of both! I do not have either, but my neighbor’s dog and children are on the property.
A typical day
I love hanging out at the dog parks or taking dogs on beach walks and hikes in SF & Marin. I also have puzzle games and chew toys for inside fun too!

Pet care experience
My senior dog of 13 years passed away in June 2021, so I am looking for some new dog friends to play with, care for, and cuddle! I love to hike and play at the beach if your dog needs exercise and adventure. I go to Crissy Field most mornings, and I would be happy to bring your dog along. I only use positive reinforcement. I have 25 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I board dogs 50lbs and under.

Mary took wonderful care of Maya, and I had a great experience from start to finish. She was very caring, attentive, and clearly treated Maya as if she were her own. Throughout the stay, Mary was communicative and provided updates that gave me peace of mind while I was away. When I picked Maya up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that Mary genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and pays attention to their individual needs. I would absolutely trust her with Maya again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.
Mary watched our new pup for a few days and was great with him! He’s still learning to socialize with other dogs and she was super patient with him. She was very easy to book with and communicate with throughout the stay. We will definitely use her again!
Mary took great care of my dog Pebbles, sending photo updates of their fun in the sun. She was also communicative and flexible when I was delayed on my return.
Mary was awesome! My dog is a bit nervous and shy but I could tell she was comfortable with Mary and had a wonderful time. Communication was good and she was accommodating during drop off and pick up. Definitely recommend her!
