Hello, my name is Jose. I am looking to board, house sit, or walk your dog. I grew up with dogs my entire life. From preteen years to my early twenties I raised 2 smaller dogs and provided a loving home their entire lives. As an adult I rescued a larger dog from a shelter and raised and trained her. I understand the needs and wants of different dogs, whether that is if they like to play fetch, or socialize with other dogs, or prefer walks in secluded areas. Numerous friends and family have reached out and relied on me for caring and sitting for their dogs for as little as an evening or as long as a week. I have experience sitting in my own home, as well as in the home of the pet as well. I live in an apartment with a fenced in backyard. It is conveniently located near 3 different dog friendly parks. I can provide multiple walks a day in the park, within trails or open fields, or throughout the neighborhood as well. I can provide care whether the dog eats twice a day or 3 times a day. I am able to read the body language and gestures of a dog to understand their feelings and what they are asking for. I do not currently have any pets so if you decide to choose me, your pet will get my full attention. I look forward to welcoming and caring for your pet.

Jose went above and beyond during the week that he took care of our pup, Chewy. He was professional, communicative, and reliable. He made us feel at ease by proactively scheduling a meet and greet. During Chewy's stay with Jose, Jose sent daily photos and updates, paid close attention to Chewy's behavior to make sure he was doing ok, and was extremely accommodating of extra requests such as picking Chewy up. It clear that Chewy was comfortable, fulfilled, and happy under Jose's care. Highly recommend!
Jose was an incredible sitter for my dog Lincoln. He sent daily pictures, clearly was able to provide a ton of walks, fetch, and care to my dog who came back happy as ever! Would absolutely book again and recommend to others. Thanks Jose!!
Jose is so incredible with our aging lil guy Finn who has some chronic pain and reactivy, Jose was extremely communicative and made sure Finn rested and recovered healthy! Can't recommend him enough!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule which allows me to care for your pet and take them on multiple walks a day. I do work full time Monday-Friday, but am free after 3 pm. My flexible schedule allows me to make visits at home while your pet would stay with me. I am also free entire weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is of the utmost importance to me. My experience in understanding a dogs body language allows me to provide an environment that will make your dog the most comfortable. I live in an apartment with a fenced in backyard. I have experience building trust with dogs so they become comfortable with me in my home and out on walks by using positive reinforcement throughout the time we’re together.
A typical day
A typical day for your dog with me will consist of a morning walk to potty, a walk in the park for lunch, and a long walk in the evening. I have direct access to the backyard and your dog will have free roam in my apartment.
