We both work from home and have no set limit or time frame for daycare hours. Overnight boarding can be one night to 2+ weeks (or more) if needed. While drop off and pick up times are flexible and at your discretion, we do request specific times for those drop offs and pick-ups, as we accommodate our work and personal schedules accordingly.

Please make sure the "Care Instructions" part of your dog's profile is up-to-date (daily routine, current medications, food allergies, personal habits needing encouragement or discouragement, etc.) so I can make an informed assessment on how we can give your dog the care he/she needs during his/her stay with us.
A typical day
walks in a great neighborhood, playing fetch, socializing with other dogs, relaxing on the sofa or anywhere in our spacious flat, laying on the back deck catching some sun. Since we have two dogs of our own and another daycare or boarding client in our home- this is a great place for well socialized pups and those who need more exposure to socialized settings.

Pet care experience
My husband, Hoa, and I have been dog owners for 20+ years. We've had our 3 dogs, Ann, Pepe and Chico since they were born. Ann was with us for 12 years and Chico for 15 years. We lost Pepe in June of 2018- he was 19 years old! We miss them all very much. In 2019 we welcomed Tommen and Renly into our home. Tommen was adopted at the Muttville Senior Dog Rescue here in San Francisco. We took Renly into our home when his owners had to move and could not find a dog-friendly home in their relocation. We have been volunteering with Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, fostering senior dogs until they get adopted. So, we will have a senior foster dog in the house now and then. We've cared for dogs with special needs such as old age, incontinence, blindness, arthritis, etc. We've even taken in a couple fospice dogs who just needed care through their last days. Our own dog(s) have had medicinal needs (oral medications and eye drops) so we understand how to tend to those needs in other dogs. In the last few years, we've begun taking in young pups, recently acquired by their owners, reinforcing their training as well as providing them with socialization opportunities with the other dogs in our home. We enjoy the rewarding experience of giving dogs, young and old, a quiet and safe space to stay. Our dog sitting adventures with Rover started with an adopter of one of our foster dogs. She loved how we had cared for the foster dog that she adopted. When she needed to take a trip out of state she asked if we could care for her dog while she was away- and that's how our relationship with Rover.com started! My husband and I currently both work at home so there will always be someone with the dogs. Please be aware that in addition to our dogs, Renly and Tommen, there may be other dogs in addition to your dog in the house. As such, we have an in-house rule that dogs are ONLY given food and treats that are supplied by their owner for the duration of the booking. Note: While small dogs are preferred we do make exceptions for medium-to-large dogs on a case by case basis, so feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
Reviews

My dog, Dragon, was in great hands! I made a last-minute reservation, and they were incredibly responsive, timely, and accommodating throughout the entire process. They sent lots of updates, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. Dragon got along wonderfully with their two pups and looked genuinely happy and comfortable the whole stay. When I came to pick him up, he was excited to see me but even ran back to say goodbye, which honestly says everything. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone caring, reliable, and communicative to watch their dog.

Ash had a great time while we were gone!

As always, Cesar and Hoa are the best. Especially with my terrible scheduling tendencies ❤️

They took great care of my dog. He was a new rescue so was relieved that he felt comfortable in their home.
