I’m working from home at the moment on writing projects, and I’m very flexible in accommodating pet-sitting routines; I have a little wiggle room right for one or two more regular clients during the workweek.

Every pet is supervised when I’m watching, and, when I preform overnights, it’s imperative to me that your home remains a safe haven and sanctuary for your fur children.

Mainly routine; I like to know what they're used to/can expect on a daily basis. Many dogs suffer from some form of separation anxiety when away from their family, so keeping that familiar routine intact is always important to me. Aside from that, I like to know of any quirks, allergies, etc. that may need extra attention.
A typical day
My typical day usually involves the mundane: emails, Google Documents, sustenances, and exercise to move this bag of enzymes around. When watching dogs, I like to break up that monotony by exploring the city through dog-friendly passages. Francisco Park has become a new favorite place to walk with pups and catch a gorgeous view of SF.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of countless dogs, cats, and exotic animals since I was seven. I currently have a number of regular client dogs — ranging in breed, size, and temperament — and I’m open to expanding that number with good fits. I’m always happy to set up a meet-and-greet prior to any drop-ins, and I’m more than willing preform long walks (or runs, if you’ve got a particularly energetic fur child), bathes, feeding times, you name it.

Matt is stellar. As new puppy parents we were worried about our first long stint away but everything went seamlessly. Really appreciated how communicative and reassuring Matt was; there was a power outage and ceaseless rain and it was a relief to know our lil guy was in good hands over the holidays. We came back to a spotless house and a happy, well behaved pup with some new commands. Super grateful to have found him and will definitely be booking again soon!
Matt was great with our two large dogs! He was not only able to take our request last minute, but he also followed all our of instructions to the T and left our home in good shape. The dogs loved him, would definitely book again

I can't recommend Matt enough! He was absolutely fantastic with my girls. They clearly loved him, and it was such a relief knowing they were in great hands while I was away. He sent regular updates, so I always felt in the loop and at ease. He followed all of my instructions to a tee and made sure the house was left spotless. It was such a comfort to know my pets were happy and well cared for. I will definitely be booking him again in the future!
