Pet care experience
WFH… but wants cute dog-walk breaks
I’ve taken care of countless dogs, cats, and exotic animals since I was seven. I currently have a number of regular client dogs — ranging in breed, size, and temperament — and I’m open to expanding that number with good fits. I’m always happy to set up a meet-and-greet prior to any drop-ins, and I’m more than willing preform long walks (or runs, if you’ve got a particularly energetic fur child), bathes, feeding times, you name it.

Every pet is supervised when I’m watching, and, when I preform overnights, it’s imperative to me that your home remains a safe haven and sanctuary for your fur children.

Matt was amazing! We have a 1 year old lab mix (who has his fair share of teenage tendencies) and he couldn’t have been in better hands. Matt shared plenty of photos and took our guy on lots of adventures. He also left our place spotless. We will absolutely be reaching out to Matt again in the future!
Matt is an incredible walker! He was so calm and patient with my very energetic pup that has some behavioral issues. Matt was completely understanding. I'd ask him to walk my pup or house-sit anytime!
Matt took care of Hector (72 pound dog) and was great. He was very communicative, and left our home very tidy. Hector was doing great when we came back home. Thanks Matt!
Matt is stellar. As new puppy parents we were worried about our first long stint away but everything went seamlessly. Really appreciated how communicative and reassuring Matt was; there was a power outage and ceaseless rain and it was a relief to know our lil guy was in good hands over the holidays. We came back to a spotless house and a happy, well behaved pup with some new commands. Super grateful to have found him and will definitely be booking again soon!
Matt was great with our two large dogs! He was not only able to take our request last minute, but he also followed all our of instructions to the T and left our home in good shape. The dogs loved him, would definitely book again

Schedule
I’m working from home at the moment on writing projects, and I’m very flexible in accommodating pet-sitting routines; I have a little wiggle room right for one or two more regular clients during the workweek.

- Mainly routine; I like to know what they're used to/can expect on a daily basis. Many dogs suffer from some form of separation anxiety when away from their family, so keeping that familiar routine intact is always important to me. Aside from that, I like to know of any quirks, allergies, etc. that may need extra attention.
