Dog lover and caring trainer
Through raising and training my own dog who is a cattle dog mix, I’ve learned all about dog behavior, body language, communication, and how to train and look out for all these needs. After meeting so many other dogs, including the ones I work with volunteering at the animal shelter, I understand and love how different each dog and their personalities are, so my approach to how to work with a dog is based first on understanding the level they’re at.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a car, so it’s easy for me to get around the city if needed. I can walk around your neighborhood or a nearby park, or happy to take your dog on an adventure to the beach or a hiking trail if you and your dog are up for it! I pay close attention on walks and can limit interactions with other people and dogs as needed. I can work on training during my visit, whether it’s basic obedience training, loose leash walking, reactivity, etc.

Jennifer was so wonderful! Easy to plan with, reliable, and so lovely with Rae. She gave thorough notes after his walks, sweet pictures, and clearly took extra time to snuggle my pup. She is a dog walker you can count on but also a true animal lover who will brighten your pet’s day.

Jen is incredible with dogs! She has so much patience, dedication, and genuine love for them. She’s done an amazing job training her own dog, Tybee, and she also volunteers at a pet shelter, so she has a lot of experience with different dogs and personalities. She really understands how to make dogs feel comfortable and safe, whether at home or out on walks. She’s also amazing at teaching tricks. In fact, pretty much every trick my dog Siri knows, I learned from Jen and Tybee! Jen has taken care of Siri before, and I’ve always felt completely comfortable knowing she’s in such loving and capable hands.
There is no one I trust more than Jennifer with my two dogs! She is a dog whisperer. She is excellent with dogs that have different behavioral and dietary needs. Mine are super a Mine are super anxious and need a little extra TLC which she gives generously and helps to keep them feeling secure and calm and engaged in play that makes them happy. She’s was wonderful and gentle when I had my senior dog (before she passed). She also helped me train my new puppy and continues to be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy with my dogs both out on walks and in my home when I’m not there. She gives frequent updates and follows instructions. My dogs gets so excited when they see her. They literally jump for joy. They are so happy. I recommend Jennifer without any hesitation. She is the best and she clearly loves dogs so much.

Schedule
My current schedule is very flexible, so I have lots of availability to spend time with your pup! I can do drop-ins and walks during the workday, after work, or weekends.
