“We were so thankful to have Genna's help last minute when we needed it. She was super at communicating with us. Pups were so happy to have her hang out and walk with them. We feel so lucky to have found her. Highly recommend and will be reaching out for help again. Thanks Genna!”

About: I am a responsible, experienced dog/cat owner-lover and will treat yours like my own. I was raised in a family that had dogs including 3 dachshunds, a mutt, and a chow over the years. As an adult I have been the loving pet parent to three adult cats consecutively. Very comfortable around cats and dogs. Available for dog-walking, cat/dog drop-in's, and daytime extended stay drop-in's / house-sitting (no overnights). I have worked remotely for over ten years so have a very flexible schedule. Walking your dog or visiting your cat would be a pleasure and a chance for some fresh air and exercise. I do this for supplemental income during my free time and the opportunity to visit different neighborhoods. I am available daytime hours, not overnight (mid-morning til before sunset). I will give your cat or dog as much or little attention in your home as you (or they!) specify. Reliable, trustworthy. Not able to care for your pets at my home.
“Margaux is incredibly reliable and treats my dogs with care and patience. My pups always come home happy, relaxed, and well-exercised. I feel completely at ease knowing they’re in such good hands.”

About: Hi! I’m Sofía, based in Nob Hill and passionate about animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, and even horses — caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I work from home, which means your pet is never alone. I’m always here to give them attention, walks, playtime, and company throughout the day. Since arriving in San Francisco, I’ve already cared for friends’ pets and loved every moment of it. I treat every animal with the same warmth and dedication I give my own. I’d love to meet your furry family member — feel free to reach out for a free meet & greet! I love walking and spending time outdoors, especially at Francisco Park near our home. I usually go out two or three times a day, so taking dogs along fits perfectly into my routine. I work from home, which means I have plenty of time to give attention, play, and go for walks together. I truly enjoy sharing my days with pets and making them feel part of my family. I absolutely love having dogs in our home — it's something I’ve always done. Whenever friends travel, I am the one they call to look after their pets, and we genuinely enjoy every moment of it. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, they roam freely around the apartment, and they're treated like part of the family. My apartment is completely safe: no balcony, no open windows, no risk of escape. And right on the corner of Leavenworth and Broadway there's a small park, so bathroom breaks and fresh air are just steps away — no planning needed, anytime they need to go. Your pet never has to spend a single minute alone. I also welcome cats! I’ve lived with cats our whole lives and know how to respect their space and independence while still giving them plenty of love and attention.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. Friends and family have relied on me to check in with, feed , play and snuggle with their pets. I will set my available time on my schedule. I always try to follow the consistent routine. My own cats have set time for meal and play. I bring the same structure and attentiveness to every pets I care for.

“Cynthia has been a fantastic dog walker. At our first meeting she came with questions and was very enthusiastic about walking my dog. My dog has loved her and I recommend her to anyone in the area.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was ten. I started by walking my aunt's dogs. Friends and Neighbors have also relied on me to walk and pet sit. I own a cute cat but can't own a dog because of the size of my apartment. So I would like the opportunity to play with adorable dogs. I like to wake up early for morning walks before work. I would like to become a dog walker so a four pawed friend can join me. I have years of pet sitting experience. My friends have flown me out to different cities so I can take care of their pets. I respect my clients home by watering their plants and taking care of their furry loved ones.
“Thank you Olesia for watching our boys! You were absolutely amazing!!! You kept is updated with photos and messages and followed all our instructions perfectly. I know our high energy puppy is a lot of work! Thank you again.”

About: I grew up surrounded by weenies, pet sat for friends, and even boarded pups in my own home, plus spent 10 years spoiling my own dog (who now lives with my parents)! I love walks, playtime, treats, and snuggles, and I’m all about making every dog feel safe, happy, and totally loved. Whether it’s zoomies in the park or a cozy cuddle session, I tailor care to each pup’s personality and make sure they have the best time ever while I’m with them! I have a flexible hybrid work schedule - I go to a pet-friendly office 3-4 days (if your pet is into that sort of thing) and from home 1-2 days and I can choose my own days. That means lots of flexibility for walks, play breaks, treats, and quality cuddle time. Whether your pup loves coming along or prefers a cozy day at home, I’m happy to follow their routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved throughout the day. Your pet’s comfort and safety come first. I always use leashes, keep a thoughtfully pet-proofed home, provide close supervision, and enjoy safe walks that help pets feel relaxed and secure. I want them to feel at home with me!
About: Between us, we have taken care of animals since childhood. We had our own, take care of our friends’ pets, and have often pet-sat off app. We bond quickly and can build strong relationships easily. We have had experience with week-long boarding, play days, and simple walking. Our own dog had multiple special needs, and we have experience for most accommodations. We are extreme animal lovers and will do everything to make sure your pet and you are happy. I work three days a week, and my partner works remotely. So that gives us plenty of time to spend with them. We are super excited to meet them!🐾💞 We live at the top of Nob Hill which provides a clean environment, great tiring walks, multiple parks, and friendly dogs. Our place is spacious, so plenty of room for fun, and each dog we've cared for had a great time! In your home, respect is key. We will be cautious of any concerns or boundaries you may have. If there’s a routine in place, we plan to adhere to it.

“Taylor is easy to work with. She was very kind and patient with our two small timid dogs. They can be shy and bark or hide with strangers. She took the time to build trust with them and get them to play and go on walks. They were happy and tired when I got home. I would definitely hire Taylor again.”

About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. Growing up, my mother operated a small pet rescue and animal shelter organization in Asia, and from a very young age I helped care for rescued dogs, cats, and abandoned animals alongside her. Over the years, we helped rescue and rehome thousands of animals, many of whom came from difficult or traumatic situations. caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I do not see pets as “just animals.” I genuinely believe they are family members who deserve love, patience, emotional safety, and respect. In many ways, I believe animals carry one of the purest forms of unconditional love, and sometimes they deserve even more kindness and gentleness than humans receive. I have experience caring for pets with very different personalities, medical conditions, and emotional needs, including senior pets, rescue animals, anxious dogs, and cats requiring medication and special routines. I am highly attentive to behavioral changes, feeding routines, emotional comfort, cleanliness, and creating calm environments where animals feel safe and relaxed.
About: I've been caring for dogs for over 10 years through pet ownership, fostering, volunteering at my local SPCA, and pet sitting for friends, family, and local clients. One of my most rewarding experiences was fostering a pregnant rescue dog who gave birth while in my care. I helped care for both the mother and her puppies, giving me hands-on experience with newborn puppies and attentive, compassionate care. Through volunteering at the SPCA, I've worked with dogs of different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Combined with my pet sitting experience, I've learned how important it is to understand each dog's unique personality and routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owner is away. What sets me apart is my rescue and foster experience, my patience, and my genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like my own and always provide dependable care, regular photo updates, and plenty of attention so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands. I'm home from university for the summer and have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I currently work part-time at a restaurant a few shifts each week, with shifts typically lasting no more than five hours, so I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care throughout the week. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love making sure pets get the exercise, attention, and companionship they need. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make it a priority to give each pet the same love and care I would give my own. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and stress-free environment. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), favorite activities, and any special instructions. I treat every client's home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean and secure while providing reliable, attentive care. My priority is making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away, and I provide regular photo and video updates for peace of mind.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Nob Hill
James is an excellent dog walker for our dog, Dory! Dory can be a little shy and wary of strangers, but she really warmed up to James within a pretty short time period. We attribute it to James’ easygoing nature and positive energy. He is incredibly responsive, provides very thoughtful updates, sends many photos of our sweet pup, and always keeps us informed. We are grateful for James and appreciate that he treats our Dory girl with love, kindness, and patience. She seems to enjoy her walking adventures with him! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog walker they can trust!

Wow!! If you are looking for a responsible, responsive and considerate walker, Soomi is by far one of the best walkers I have had the pleasure of working with. She went above beyond her duties, made sure that I got plenty of very cute updates and is so considerate of how my dog is doing as well as being considerate of others while with her. I cannot recommend her enough!
