“Emily did such a wonderful job with Maggie. She was super communicative while I was out of town and took Maggie on lots of fun walks. I knew mags was in great hands and having a good time, which was such a relief while away. Thanks Emily!!”

About: I’ve personally owned dogs with a wide variety of personalities! I volunteered at the local animal shelter in college, walking and socializing dogs 2x a week. Please let me know if there are any specific exercises or training regimens you would like me to practice with your pup on our walks. Thanks! I work from home and need to make sure I get out of the house. I am available most mornings, evenings, and around noon to walk pups. I am comfortable crating dogs after walks. I respect pet parents’ boundaries and want to make sure we’re on the same page for any treats or exercises you would like me to practice with your dog.
“Javier was absolutely fantastic with my blind and leash-reactive Winnie. During walks, he took steps to prevent her from lunging at other dogs and eating food refuse on the ground - both of which are very hard to do. He is very knowledgeable about dogs, and it is obvious that he loves them a great deal. He is also extremely caring, responsible, respectful, and trustworthy. There is no one I would trust more to care for my dog.”

“Claire did a great job with our pup Layla. She was able to accommodate Layla’s needs and was able to give us lots of help on short notice. She clearly cares a lot about animals, something that shines through in her attention to detail. I would not hesitate to have Claire help with our dog again in the future.”

About: I had a dog growing up as a child and have taken care of my friends dogs numerous times. I also volunteer at the SFSPCA and play/walk with all the pups there. I currently have two lovely cats and hope to adopt a dog again once I have a home with outdoor space! I am currently taking a career break from the corporate life to explore my passions and see what may inspire me in the future. Therefore, I have plenty of time to take care of your babies 😊 My cats are strictly indoor only as I feel this is the safest way to take care of cats (especially in a city). I do take my cats out on a leash at the park occasionally for outdoor time. I think it’s important for all cats to get playtime on a daily basis, snuggles (if they like that), and of course their feeding/hygiene routine. I brush my cats every 2 days. I am equipped to adapt to your cats routines.
“Angela went above and beyond when she took my two dogs (including one blind dog) on a very last minute walk! I will definitely go to her next time I need a dog sitter”

About: My prior experience as a dog walker, doggy daycare attendant, dog bather & dog bakery associate have equipped me with many skills necessary for caring for dogs! I’m familiar with administering medication, catering to restrictive diets, routine walks and much more! Caring for my own dogs as well as for others has always been a positive experience for me and I would love to share these positive experiences with the community. Providing pet parents with a sense of security while pets are in my care and building a foundation of trust is a top priority as well as making sure your dogs are receiving the love and compassion they deserve! I currently work part time in property management. This schedule is also client based but is in its early stages of generating more clientele at the moment. An opportunity with Rover is the perfect way for me to still provide excellent services within the community while spending time with pets and meeting their needs! All pets are met with the same attentiveness & compassion! I am comfortable administering oral medication, being compliant with dietary restrictions, & assistance with crating, etc. While providing pet care services over the years I have seen how valuable a simple check in with an owner can be and how good communication and trust can contribute to a positive experience!

“Karen was so responsive to me and do great with Bumi. He is a big puppy that can be a handful and she handles him expertly. Got lots of updates and feedback from her. Felt really comfortable letting my baby do his first walk without me with her. Recommended ??”

I watch all my family’s dogs on an ongoing basis. I work from home in pac heights/ cow hollow! Flexible with hours depending on the service needed. About: Hey, I'm Taylor! Loving animals is not my whole personality, but it's close. I've been taking care of dogs big and small since I was a kid, and done more serious pet sitting and walking for friends & neighbors since 2017. Pictured is Wheezy, the love of my life: a half Boston Terrier half Pitty I rescued around 5 years ago and nursed back to health. Holler with any questions! I am a journalist and work weird hours! Generally available for afternoon and evening walks both week days and weekends on a case by case basis!. I have a fenced garden area where my pup loves to tromp around. I also live very close to Alamo Square Park, where we love to walk and play if you're comfortable with your pup being social. I've trained Wheezy to return when off-leash but never let other pups off leash without owner permission. In the home, I've got a large crate if needed.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was ten. I started by walking my aunt's dogs. Friends and Neighbors have also relied on me to walk and pet sit. I own a cute cat but can't own a dog because of the size of my apartment. So I would like the opportunity to play with adorable dogs. I like to wake up early for morning walks before work. I would like to become a dog walker so a four pawed friend can join me. I have years of pet sitting experience. My friends have flown me out to different cities so I can take care of their pets. I respect my clients home by watering their plants and taking care of their furry loved ones.

Kevin walked our dog everyday in the weeks after we had our first child, and did a great job! He was prompt, communicative and flexible — and our dog loved him. He helped us navigate some of our dogs mobility limitations as well and went above and beyond to help us manage in those very challenging weeks. Not sure how we could have done it without Kevin!! Highly recommend!
