About: I had a dog growing up as a child and have taken care of my friends dogs numerous times. I also volunteer at the SFSPCA and play/walk with all the pups there. I currently have two lovely cats and hope to adopt a dog again once I have a home with outdoor space! I am currently taking a career break from the corporate life to explore my passions and see what may inspire me in the future. Therefore, I have plenty of time to take care of your babies 😊 My cats are strictly indoor only as I feel this is the safest way to take care of cats (especially in a city). I do take my cats out on a leash at the park occasionally for outdoor time. I think it’s important for all cats to get playtime on a daily basis, snuggles (if they like that), and of course their feeding/hygiene routine. I brush my cats every 2 days. I am equipped to adapt to your cats routines.

About: I’ve personally owned dogs with a wide variety of personalities! I volunteered at the local animal shelter in college, walking and socializing dogs 2x a week. Please let me know if there are any specific exercises or training regimens you would like me to practice with your pup on our walks. Thanks! I work from home and need to make sure I get out of the house. I am available most mornings, evenings, and around noon to walk pups. I am comfortable crating dogs after walks. I respect pet parents’ boundaries and want to make sure we’re on the same page for any treats or exercises you would like me to practice with your dog.
“Jennifer is such a reliable and loving pet sitter! My golden, Aioli, gets so excited to see her for his walks and Jennifer makes sure my lazy boy gets his exercise in. She follows through on instruction, is timely with her arrivals, and never cancels last minute. I rely on Jennifer so much since I work 4 days a week in office. I am so grateful for Jennifer and I know Aioli is too!!”

“Lauren has been an amazing walker for our dog! Our dog has some quirks and takes time to get comfortable with new people but Lauren has totally won him over and is super patient and responsible. She’s a great communicator and always takes really good care of our dog. Highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a walker!”

“Claire was excellent with our puppy Willie. He loved spending time with her. She was prompt and gave him a nice long walk and play time at the park. Just what our high-energy pup needed!”

About: I have over 10 years experience pet/house sitting and dog-walking all over the world, including Australia, New Zealand, England, Mexico. I lived abroad for six years during which I dedicated myself house/pet sitting and dog-walking. I have experience with all breeds, temperaments, attachment styles and training levels! I love nature so I usually take dogs for long walks in green spaces where they can also enjoy roaming, sniffing and exploring. I am incredibly flexible and adapt to the needs of your pet and you, as I'm aware all pets and their parents are unique! About: My name is Grace, and I am a young professional living in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of SF. I have had and taken care of dogs my entire life, and family and friends would describe me as an extremely trustworthy and kind caretaker. I love dogs of all kinds and sizes, and have cared for some pretty rambunctious pups with big personalities in the past, so that does not worry me whatsoever. I would love to have the opportunity to be a part of your dog’s extended family, so please reach out if you’re interested :) I work from home often during the week and have a very accommodating schedule, and if I don’t have plans on the weekends, I am typically available. I also love going on walks and to the park on my own, so it would be even better to have a furry friend to join me! At my current apartment, pets are allowed and welcomed (we have quite a few dogs in the building) and there is a shared outdoor space as well as dog park less than 2 blocks away. At a client’s home, I would thoroughly go through their preferences and daily routine to ensure the dog is as happy and comfortable as possible. I would happily take the dog out for as many walks as desired for any duration of time. I am a very attentive, empathetic, and focused person who would make the dog’s wellbeing and routine the number one priority.
About: I’ve been dog walking on Rover for 2 years now with repeat customers. I’ve also taken care of doggos my whole life and always had one while living with my family! I watch all my family’s dogs on an ongoing basis. I work from home in pac heights/ cow hollow! Flexible with hours depending on the service needed. Also occasionally available on weekends and evenings if needed. I can’t watch any fur babies in my apartment because the lease restricts it :( which is why I’m on rover! I would love to be around dogs but can’t have my own based on my lease. Happy to follow any directions and provide updates ongoing!
“Javier was absolutely fantastic with my blind and leash-reactive Winnie. During walks, he took steps to prevent her from lunging at other dogs and eating food refuse on the ground - both of which are very hard to do. He is very knowledgeable about dogs, and it is obvious that he loves them a great deal. He is also extremely caring, responsible, respectful, and trustworthy. There is no one I would trust more to care for my dog.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently own a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd, so I have plenty of experience caring for high-energy breeds and young dogs. Because my dad bred dogs throughout my childhood, I was exposed to caring for puppies and dogs with a variety of personalities from a young age. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, administering basic medications, reinforcing training routines, and providing lots of exercise and enrichment. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own! I’m currently a graduate student with a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of availability throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow owners instructions closely, maintain pets’ normal routines, and will provide regular updates with photos. I have experience handling high-energy dogs through raising my Australian Shepherd, and I’m comfortable with crate training, administering basic medications, and reinforcing training routines!
About: While I haven’t worked professionally as a dog sitter for many years, I grew up with dogs and have been around them for most of my life. Caring for our family dog taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality. I am comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and providing companionship. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I understand that every dog is different, and I always take the time to learn their routines and preferences to provide the best care possible. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, and I take the time to learn what makes them feel secure and happy. Whether caring for your pet in your home or taking them on walks, I will follow your instructions carefully, provide plenty of attention and affection, and ensure they receive the same level of care I would give my own pets. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away.
“Thea is awesome, she's friendly, polite, amazing with our beagle puppy and we are so happy that he enjoys the time he gets with her so much. Thea is so easy to work with and an amazing help. Thanks Thea, we always look forward to the walks.”

About: My prior experience as a dog walker, doggy daycare attendant, dog bather & dog bakery associate have equipped me with many skills necessary for caring for dogs! I’m familiar with administering medication, catering to restrictive diets, routine walks and much more! Caring for my own dogs as well as for others has always been a positive experience for me and I would love to share these positive experiences with the community. Providing pet parents with a sense of security while pets are in my care and building a foundation of trust is a top priority as well as making sure your dogs are receiving the love and compassion they deserve! I currently work part time in property management. This schedule is also client based but is in its early stages of generating more clientele at the moment. An opportunity with Rover is the perfect way for me to still provide excellent services within the community while spending time with pets and meeting their needs! All pets are met with the same attentiveness & compassion! I am comfortable administering oral medication, being compliant with dietary restrictions, & assistance with crating, etc. While providing pet care services over the years I have seen how valuable a simple check in with an owner can be and how good communication and trust can contribute to a positive experience!
