About: I travel a lot so have never been able to have a dog of our own. Instead, I've discovered dog sitting as the next best way to have a pooch in the home. I LOVE dogs! PLEASE NOTE: While we'd love to take all dogs, we can only board doodles. I work from home and have two adult kids who are staying with us. You can rest assured that your doggo will get lots of attention and petting. Dogs staying with me will mostly be in our large kitchen which opens up to a back yard for short breaks and exploration. I'll be taking your dog for at least two longer walks during the day, depending on his/her needs.

About: Animals have always been a very important part of my life. Growing up, my mother operated a small pet rescue and animal shelter organization in Asia, and from a very young age I helped care for rescued dogs, cats, and abandoned animals alongside her. Over the years, we helped rescue and rehome thousands of animals, many of whom came from difficult or traumatic situations. caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I do not see pets as “just animals.” I genuinely believe they are family members who deserve love, patience, emotional safety, and respect. In many ways, I believe animals carry one of the purest forms of unconditional love, and sometimes they deserve even more kindness and gentleness than humans receive. I have experience caring for pets with very different personalities, medical conditions, and emotional needs, including senior pets, rescue animals, anxious dogs, and cats requiring medication and special routines. I am highly attentive to behavioral changes, feeding routines, emotional comfort, cleanliness, and creating calm environments where animals feel safe and relaxed.

About: In addition to my own pets, I've been joyfully looking after other folks' pets for many years. I believe that every pet deserves the utmost care, time, and engagement - especially when their favorite humans are out and about! My work schedule is flexible, and I'm able to visit on weekday mornings/afternoons and anytime during the weekend. Please let me know if you have any specific timing needs in your inquiry. Your pet's comfort and safety are my number one priority. Given every pet has their unique needs in terms of play and quality-time, I am happy to keep yours company for longer time periods upon request.

About: Hey, I'm Taylor! Loving animals is not my whole personality, but it's close. I've been taking care of dogs big and small since I was a kid, and done more serious pet sitting and walking for friends & neighbors since 2017. Pictured is Wheezy, the love of my life: a half Boston Terrier half Pitty I rescued around 5 years ago and nursed back to health. Holler with any questions! I am a journalist and work weird hours! Generally available for afternoon and evening walks both week days and weekends on a case by case basis!. I have a fenced garden area where my pup loves to tromp around. I also live very close to Alamo Square Park, where we love to walk and play if you're comfortable with your pup being social. I've trained Wheezy to return when off-leash but never let other pups off leash without owner permission. In the home, I've got a large crate if needed.

About: My prior experience as a dog walker, doggy daycare attendant, dog bather & dog bakery associate have equipped me with many skills necessary for caring for dogs! I’m familiar with administering medication, catering to restrictive diets, routine walks and much more! Caring for my own dogs as well as for others has always been a positive experience for me and I would love to share these positive experiences with the community. Providing pet parents with a sense of security while pets are in my care and building a foundation of trust is a top priority as well as making sure your dogs are receiving the love and compassion they deserve! I currently work part time in property management. This schedule is also client based but is in its early stages of generating more clientele at the moment. An opportunity with Rover is the perfect way for me to still provide excellent services within the community while spending time with pets and meeting their needs! All pets are met with the same attentiveness & compassion! I am comfortable administering oral medication, being compliant with dietary restrictions, & assistance with crating, etc. While providing pet care services over the years I have seen how valuable a simple check in with an owner can be and how good communication and trust can contribute to a positive experience!

About: At home, I have 3 dogs (a bernese and two leonbergers). I grew up with large dogs and have experience walking multiple dogs together, taking care of multiple dogs at a time, and training. I am a student at UCSF go to class three times per week for a couple hours. Otherwise, I am home! I'm currently a student at UCSF and commute to the Mission Bay campus 3x per week for a couple hours per day. Otherwise, I am home and can take care of pets! I have a 600 sq ft apartment space for pets to freely roam! I do not have a yard but can take pets out as much as needed.

About: I'm a teacher on sabbatical with a very flexible schedule and a pet sitting side gig for the last 11 years. I have experience caring for cats as well as dogs of all sizes. As a volunteer at Muttville, I am also super comfortable with senior pups and understand their unique needs (and charms!). I'm a cat owner (shout-out Kumie and Pam!) and use Rover myself, so I know how important it is to have peace of mind when you leave your pet. I'm responsible, reliable, and can always be counted to care for your pet like it's my own. I'm currently on sabbatical from my teaching job so I have a lot of availability, especially during the week. Most days I am available 8 am to 10 pm, but can make accommodations if necessary. I almost always require a pre-visit Meet & Greet before my first visit with your pet to make sure I understand all of your furbaby's unique needs. I promise clear communication including frequent updates and photos. I'll follow your schedules and routines regarding feedings, bathroom breaks, and walks to make sure your pet is comfortable and safe.
