Calm, reliable care for dogs & cats
I’m a Mission District based dog walker and pet sitter focused on calm, reliable, attentive care. I’m especially comfortable with larger, energetic dogs, including dogs that pull, get overexcited at the beginning of a walk, or simply need a little extra patience to settle in. I’m a bigger guy and comfortable physically handling strong dogs, but my approach is calm rather than forceful. I use consistency, clear cues, positive reinforcement when appropriate, and the routines you already use with your dog. I currently care for a pair of Golden Retrievers, so I’m very comfortable managing two larger dogs together as well. I’m also an experienced cat owner and enjoy cat drop-ins, feeding, playtime, litter care, and spending time with cats who may need a quieter approach. I take reliability seriously: I show up when expected, follow your instructions closely, send photos and useful updates, and try to keep your pet’s normal routine intact. I primarily work around the Mission, Castro and Noe Valley so I can stay close to my regular clients and be dependable for repeat care.

I’m careful about following each pet’s normal routine and your instructions rather than assuming every animal should be handled the same way. I pay attention to doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions and anything else you flag for me. I also treat a client’s home respectfully and leave things as I found them. With pets, my style is calm, patient and attentive—I’d rather earn their trust than force an interaction.

Schedule
I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my day. I keep my service area fairly local so I can be dependable and on time for regular clients.

- I like to know your pet’s normal routine, temperament and any quirks that make their care easier: leash behavior, reactions to other dogs or people, favorite rewards, feeding routines, hiding spots, escape tendencies or anything they strongly like or dislike. The more I know about what is normal for your pet, the easier it is for me to keep things consistent.
