Calm, reliable care for dogs & cats
I’m a Mission District dog walker and pet sitter with a flexible remote schedule, and I do Rover on the side because I genuinely enjoy it! I like getting outside and walking with dogs, and I’m just as happy spending a quieter drop-in playing with or simply keeping company with a cat. My style is calm, patient and attentive. I’m comfortable with larger, energetic dogs, including dogs that pull, get excited at the beginning of a walk, or need a little time to settle in. I currently walk two Golden Retrievers on a regular basis. I’m also a longtime cat owner and genuinely enjoy cat care — not just feeding and litter, but playtime, company, and giving shy or older cats the space they need to warm up. I follow instructions closely, send photos and useful updates, and try to keep every pet’s normal routine intact. I primarily work around the Mission, Castro and Noe Valley so I can stay close to my clients and be reliable for repeat care.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m careful about following each pet’s normal routine and your instructions rather than assuming every animal should be handled the same way. I pay attention to doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions and anything else you flag for me. I also treat a client’s home respectfully and leave things as I found them. With pets, my style is calm, patient and attentive—I’d rather earn their trust than force an interaction.

Robert really helped us out by watching our two cats, Olive and Bean, during a last minute request. He was punctual and provided our cats with all the care that they needed! Even went out of his way to leave our space in a better condition than we had left it. Highly recommend Robert if you’re ever needing someone to look after your fur babies!
Robert is amazing!!! He stepped right in where I needed him and has settled right in with my two Goldens. He’s patient, caring and attentive and it’s fantastic. Knowing Robert is coming to visit my dogs eases my mind as I know they’re in great hands.

Schedule
I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my day. I keep my service area fairly local so I can be dependable and on time for regular clients.

- I like to know your pet’s normal routine, temperament and any quirks that make their care easier: leash behavior, reactions to other dogs or people, favorite rewards, feeding routines, hiding spots, escape tendencies or anything they strongly like or dislike. The more I know about what is normal for your pet, the easier it is for me to keep things consistent.
