About: Hi! I’m Alex! I’m 24 and a weekly volunteer at Muttville, a senior dog shelter in Mission Creek. I’m on the adoptions team, but when I’m not meeting with prospective adopters, I help take care of around 30 senior dogs between our main floor and quiet rooms :) I have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes and ability. I’m comfortable medicating dogs orally, topically or ophthalmically (eye drops). I’m also comfortable administering special diets (wet/dry/natural) and regular walks. I’ve taken care of dogs with special needs like anxiety, cancer, Alzheimer’s, blindness, deafness and amputations, so if your dog needs additional care, I’m there! I grew up with a chihuahua and currently have a hamster :) I work remotely in data analytics for a nonprofit foundation based in Palo Alto, so I’m always looking for creative spaces to work from. Let me work from (your) home :) I take time to understand the routine that the dog is used to, meaning walks, feeding schedules and playtime. Because I work with senior dogs who often have special needs, I’m very mindful of diets, medications and maintaining a comfortable, safe and consistent environment. I absolutely do not believe in harsh discipline or tie-outs and am not comfortable if asked to administer this.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals — from dogs and parrots to fish and even a turtle — so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. My last dog, Ola, was a golden retriever who lived a wonderful 14 years, and losing her made me realize just how much animals have shaped my life. For me, pet sitting isn't just about making sure your pet is fed and cared for — it's about getting to know *them*. I love learning their personalities, earning their trust, and figuring out the little things that make them happiest. Whether that's playing fetch, going for a long walk or hike, or simply hanging out together, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. On the days I’m out of the house, I’m home by 6PM because I hate the idea of a pet waiting too long for company. Since all I need is WiFi to get my work done, I’m also happy to spend the day at your home so your furry friend never has to be alone. My two bedroom apartment has plenty of cozy lounging space and I’m just an 8 minute walk from the park, so walks are quick, easy and never feel like a chore. Even when I don’t have a pet with me, I love stepping outside for a little fresh air during breaks, coffee runs or just to stretch my legs. Getting to share that time with a pet by my side is honestly one of my favorite parts of the day.

About: I am my friends and families go-to sitter. I grew up with dogs of my own and have experience with both big and small dogs. I work full time, but am available on week nights after work and weekends. I work remote a majority of the time, so I have added flexibility to care for your pet. I am patient and friendly, in addition to being incredibly active. I would love to run with you dog if they would like that, otherwise I am happy with long walks and playing fetch. I have a canine good citizen certified dog whom I trained myself. She is friendly with all animals and would be a good companion to any furry friend. I work full time, mostly remote. This allows flexibility to give your pet the attention that they deserve during the day. I am active (walks/hikes/runs) at night. I have a super pet proof home, with only the most indestructible toys. I have plenty of dog beds, a crate (two if needed!) and a private fenced in dog park for fetching/playing.

About: I am a huge dog lover! I've had family dogs growing up and also had two dogs of my own, including a puppy! They don't live with me anymore, and I love a dog’s presence so I'd be so happy to love on your dog and give them all the attention. Our days would consist of walks around the neighborhood, random adventures to coffee shops/bakeries/parks, or we could simply be couch potato’s depending on their energy and physical capacity. I work full time on the weekdays, but can adjust depending on your pup and their needs. Please let me know ahead of time! On the weekends I’m free and can be fully present :) I also have a pup cam, so when I’m at work I can monitor them and come home immediately if I see anything of concern! I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment with an outdoor patio. The area I live in is filled with dog-friendly areas and parks. I am very attentive, observant, and read a dog’s body language pretty well! I’ll provide lots of attention and love. No need to worry or stress, they are in good hands!
