Hi my legal name is HuiMin, but most people call me Vivian. I've been living abroad for nearly two years and took a break from Rover. I'll be moving back to San Francisco to pursue my master's degree. While I may have been away for a bit, I'm thrilled to reconnect and meet new pets! So, if you're in need of a trustworthy pet sitter or walker in the Bay Area, count me in! My experience with cats: I have 10 years of experience caring for cats. With my experience, I am very familiar with the behavior and temperament of cats. I can interact with cats who are very shy or very social. I have also taken care of cats of all ages, from kittens to elderly cats. I know how to give cats medication (oral, inhaler, and insulin) and how to care for sick cats. My family also has two cats that I cat sit for anytime they need. My experience with dogs: I am an experienced dog sitter who is friendly and accommodating with routes and schedules. I am attentive to your dog’s needs regarding waste disposal and engaging and attentive walks. I ensure a safe environment for your dog and follow any special instructions or limitations that your dog may have.

Vivian did an amazing job taking care of our cats, especially Reggie, who is urinary incontinent and needs his bladder manually expressed 4-5 times per day. She demonstrated tremendous patience, care, and persistence in learning how to care for him, and was super punctual and communicative about completing the bladder expressions and letting us know. The boys also had a blast spending time with her — I think they had more fun than we did! We couldn’t ask for a better sitter — we feel so lucky to have found someone we can trust with our special needs cats, and we’ll be booking her again very soon!

Vivian took great care of our cat, Lucy, while we were out of town for the holidays. She was responsive, accommodating, and thorough both during the drop-in visits and the days leading up. Would definitely recommend her for pet care!
Vivian did a great job walking and feeding my dogs everyday! She was timely, followed detailed instructions, and I didn't have to worry about my pups being antsy while I was away.

Schedule
I currently work part time online and I have the flexibility to pick my own schedule. That leaves me with time to watch after your kitties or take your dogs on walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I am home most of the time for my online work so I will be able to supervise your cats the whole time they are staying with me. I will send photos and updates to show you how your cat is doing. If you have any rules to enforce for your cat, I am more than happy to abide by them. For dog walking, I will send you photos of your dog while we are walking and I can even send videos.
A typical day
For a typical day, I love to entertain cats with mouse toys and feather wands. I can help them get in some exercise by playing or I can give them attention with pets and cuddles. For dog walking, I can take them to a nearby dog park or go on a specific route based on your preference. If I am house sitting, I will keep your dog company and use their favorite toy to play games with them.
