“We were so lucky to find Rebecca! She took excellent care of our senior dogs. We needed a pet sitter to stay at our house. Rebecca sent us pictures and reports each day of Bristol and Tango's activities. We were very happy and comfortable with Rebecca. Next time we need a sitter, she is definitely our number one!”

“Leslie was great. She was a good communicator before the sit and my dog loved her. She stayed after I got home to let me know how my dog was. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Regina did a great job taking care of our elder dog and two kittens. It was a huge relief to know that they were all being cared for and loved on while we were away from home. I got pics and updates every day and came home to three very contented and relaxed pets. It was clear they had all been very comfortable with Regina. She left my place perfectly neat, and was easy to communicate with throughout. I would highly recommend her services and will definitely be hiring her again whenever we have need and she is available.”

“Harvey is great, used him twice now and will use again if he’s available. Dottie loves him and is sad to see him go. He also built a chair I received in a package!”

About: My name is Thanh, like wonton. I’m originally from Massachusetts and moved to the SF. I work remotely. Here’s my experiences so far. I’m currently a sanctuary volunteer at a dog rescue in Oakland. What this means is I feed them, clean their kennel, make sure there are no issue with the dog, and spend some time with them. I might take them out on a walk, play catch, or give them extra tummy rub during my shift. Think Kennel Attendant but without the pay. Lol. I occasionally will foster dogs out from the shelter that I volunteered at. When fostering, I train them on basic commands and get them potty train. Some foster pups will come to me with no basic command and leave with sit, stay, and come. They may know a little more party tricks like paw and play dead. I used the “yes” as my command word. This does mean that sometimes I will put a pause on Rover, but feel free to massage me to see if I’m available! When I’m not working from home or doing Rover or volunteering. I have occasionally dabble into photography ranging from travel, food, and pet photography. Along with experimenting with ingredients to make a homemade dog friendly treats. To give owners a sigh of relief, I have pet sitter, walker, and boarder insurance. This keeps us both safe. In short, I love animals and make sure they really get the best care under my watch. I work remote and is on East coast hours. My days are 6AM to 2PM. I’m typically free after 2PM to stop by and check on any pets that needs care. I live in an apartment in SF. My apartment is always loaded with dog treats, doggy trash bags, doggy bed, doggy toys and other supplies to make your dog comfortable. It’s their vacation away from home. Depending on the dog’s mood, we can decompress with a puzzle, a Kong, or just sit quietly with treats to help ease them to me or my home.
“Mystyc was great with Jax! She was so friendly and they seemed to get along right away. She made me feel at ease with her experience with senior dogs and the care Jax needed. She sent me photos throughout the day and kept me up to date with everything.”

“Joslyn was absolutely wonderful! She house sat for us and took exceptional care of our dog and cat while we were away for 6 days. Our dog has severe allergies and even had a skin flare-up in the middle of the night, and Joslyn handled it so calmly and responsibly, communicating with us the entire time and making sure she was comfortable and cared for. She was very communicative throughout our trip, sent regular updates and videos, and kept the house tidy and well cared for. Both our dog and cat were clearly happy and comfortable with her; one of the videos she sent as she was leaving even showed them looking sad to see her go, which says everything. We felt completely at ease knowing our pets and home were in such good hands and would absolutely book her again.”

“Clive is the best! He takes care of our dog like his own, we know our dog is well loved, lots of walks, play time, and cuddles. It’s truly the best gift of peace of mind to leave your dog with someone you know you can trust, and for us that is Clive!”

“Nelson seemed to have a great time with Nicole! She was prompt, responsive, and left the house in great shape. So happy to have connected with her and looking forward to booking her in the future!”

“How to review dog sitting if you couldn't witness it firsthand? Actually, this one isn't hard. Kimberly provided both frequent photos and a written updates about our pup, which went a long way towards reassuring us during our first time leaving our dog with a sitter. And... when we came home, we encountered a pup who was happy, relaxed and thoroughly *not* traumatized. In fact, she was even more okay than when we'd leave her alone for a few hours while we were out. This spoke volumes. Thank you, Kimberly, for doing an excellent job of taking care of our pup!”

“I've always had great experiences with Rover, but Christine is absolutely exceptional. She sent downright portrait-quality photos of my dog looking very happy, along with frequent updates, which I loved. She also accommodated all of my dogs quirks, knowing exactly how to deal with a shy, sometimes dog-reactive dog. On top of that, she left my apartment cleaner than when she came, going well above the call of duty. If I could give her 7 stars, I would. Christine is an absolutely exceptional sitter, and I highly recommend her.”

“Strongly recommend Linda to anyone looking for a pet sitter! Linda provided us with daily updates and bonded immediately with both of our cats. One of our kitties can be a bit shy, but she warmed up to Linda right away! Thank you so much Linda!”

“We booked Michael to house sit for us and watch our sick puppy Apollo on NYE. Michael was very proactive in his communication and soliciting any instructions we had for Apollo. He kept us updated throughout the night with pictures and other updates about Apollo. He took great care of him and helped him be less scared of the fireworks! I would HIGHLY recommend Michael and will rebook him whenever we need a sitter for Apollo!”

“Amazing pet sitter, my cats loved them. Respectful towards space, I came back home and my furry family was not anxious and looked very happy. Video calls ones a day during drop ins definitely helped my animals to feel better. Appreciate the help with my kitties.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up in Venezuela, my father had a farm where we cared for horses, cows, and several dogs. We had five dogs, including a Dalmatian, three Fila Brasileiros, and a Pitbull, which taught me from a young age how to be calm, respectful, and responsible with animals of all sizes and temperaments. Over the years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their dogs and cats, handling feeding, walks, playtime, and daily routines. I’m patient, affectionate, and very observant, always paying attention to each pet’s personality and needs. I enjoy regular walks and outdoor time, including dog parks when appropriate. I also have a 10 month old cat named Nacho, who gets along well with other animals and is leash trained. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work one or two nights a week as a bartender. I’m organized, dependable, and flexible, which allows me to adapt to different schedules and needs. I make time for proper walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, not just quick check ins. My goal is for pets to feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for, even when their owners are away. I understand that every pet and every family is different. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s specific needs, routines, and preferences as long as there are clear instructions and open communication. I truly value communication and don’t mind sending regular updates, photos, or messages so you feel at ease while you’re away. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and breeds, including both dogs and cats, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Iris was absolutely wonderful! She had a great connection with our cat. She took the time to learn about our cat and make sure she could make her as happy/comfortable as possible. Iris was also a great communicator. We got a ton of fun pictures and updates of their time together. I would recommend Iris to anyone!

Leslie was a joy! Oreo immediately bonded to her and, while usually quite anxious when we leave, seemed very happy and excited to be spending time with her. She checked in regularly with pics and videos. We booked Leslie for an in-home sitter, and I would highly recommend her!

We booked Michael to house sit for us and watch our sick puppy Apollo on NYE. Michael was very proactive in his communication and soliciting any instructions we had for Apollo. He kept us updated throughout the night with pictures and other updates about Apollo. He took great care of him and helped him be less scared of the fireworks! I would HIGHLY recommend Michael and will rebook him whenever we need a sitter for Apollo!

What a lifesaver! We were out of town when our senior dog needed a last minute change in boarding on a major holiday. She swooped in and saved the day to take care of our dog. She was a great communicator - sending videos and photos that we really appreciated. Our dog looked visibly relaxed in her care as well. We truly appreciate her care for our dog.

I highly recommend Mohab. He did an outstanding job house-sitting our dog, Murphy, while we were out of town for several days. Murphy was clearly well cared for, and Mohab even left our home cleaner than we left it. Mohab provided thoughtful daily updates with photos and videos and was always proactive about reaching out with any questions or concerns. We felt completely at ease knowing Murphy and our home were in such good hands.
