“Pascal absolutely loved his stay and came home worn out from playing and snuggling! We got lots of updates and felt good knowing Pascal was in absolutely fantastic hands! 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“I had to leave my pup for a couple of days soon after some surgery. Melissa took on the extra steps for food prep, meds, soft collar without hesitation. She did a great job keeping me posted on how my pup was doing, generally, and specifically about the incision sites. Really appreciate her taking extra care of my pup!”

“Mike is a fantastic Rover dad. Great communication before and during the stay. He really understands dog needs. Kobe got many, many good walks and play time. He's staying with Mike again next month and I know it will be just as successful.”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

“Our pup Edie had the best 6 days with Derek, Stella, and their dog Lucy. We received daily updates including adorable photos too! We know Edie was well cared for and had a blast. This was our very first Rover experience and we are so happy that we found Derek and Stella.”

“Alvin and his wife were wonderful pawrents to Noki while we were away! He sent frequent photos and they spent plenty of time taking him out, playing fetch, and cuddling with him. We would definitely be more than happy to have Noki stay with him again!”

“Kara and Val were a godsend when we needed a last minute sitter for our pup. Kara was prompt and responsive in setting up a meet & greet where she got to talk with us and get to know Petunia a little bit. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! Kara was great about sending updates and photos and made us feel secure, at ease and able to enjoy our time away. Cannot recommend them enough 🐶😁”

“Molly and Stephen did a wonderful job taking care of my senior Lab during his overnight stay. Even though he’s older, he still has plenty of energy, and they balanced his need for comfort and activity. They made sure he was cozy in his bed at night, let him enjoy their lovely backyard for breaks, and took him on a fun “sniff-rari” walk in the morning. When we picked him up, he looked happy, relaxed, and well cared-for. I really appreciate the thoughtful attention they gave him during his short stay!”

“Victoria was wonderful. Took amazing care of my dog Charlie, and even accommodated me when I set the wrong end time for the booking! Highly recommend.”

“Erica was so awesome and my Maxwell loved her immediately. She was flexible, super communicative, and it is clear that she loves loves loves animals. Maxwell was safe, comfortable and maybe a little spoiled (in a good way!) during his time with Erica. I felt at ease, and could focus on what I needed to do while awau because Erica was caring for my furbaby. She also lives near an awesome park which is another plus! Would definitely recommend her a million times over!”

“Absolutely wonderful - she was careful to make sure the personalities of the other dogs would work in her home. I got updates every day, and Tonka was clearly happy and engaged (and LOVED being able to play with other well-mannered dogs). Sony also had a magical touch - T instantly responded to her calming presence. At our meet-up, Tonka was patiently sitting in front of her, right away, waiting to see what the plan was. Just the sweetest acceptance - which speaks to how dedicated and lovely Sony is! Good vibes, carefulness, easy happiness. I feel SO lucky to have found her here!”

“Ashley has taken wonderful care of our kitties while we were out of town twice now, including giving our senior cat his oral medication. We appreciate the great communication and pictures. Thank you Ashley!”

About: I’ve been lucky enough that cats seem to enjoy my presence and approach without fear. At the same time, I’ve recently found myself as the primary care source for my housemate’s cat. I handle keeping the food space clean as well as maintaining the water dish and litter box, and the cat treats my room as her favored space, up to and including using me and my bed as her favorite place to nap.

“I would definitely book Miriam again! She put in the extra effort to let us know exactly how her visits with our cat went and sent lots of photos. She was super reliable and thorough!”

“Nicole was very communicative and was very helpful in lessening concern for my cats health while I was away. She was a great help and I would highly reccomend her services!”

“Nicole is amazing!!!!!! She made my really shy kitty feel so safe. She was very communicative, punctual, and sent so many adorable photos and videos. It is clear that she loves animals and she took such good care of my little guy. I will absolutely book with her again!!”

“This was my very first time leaving my kitten Birdie and I am so grateful for Kara & Val!! Birdie was immediately welcomed in as part of their family and was showered with attention and playtime for the entire weekend. I was more than a bit anxious leaving my baby but Kara was so reassuring and felt much more at ease leaving Birdie in her care. I appreciated all the regular updates and pictures, which helped calm my nerves while I was away. Will definitely be booking Kara & Val again!”

“Mikele was so thoughtful while caring for Leo & Luna. We are so appreciative of all the updates and photos we received while traveling. We would absolutely love to have them help out again!”

“Katie was super communicative, responsible and responsive to both Frankie (my cat) and me! Katie followed my instructions to a T and was very patient with Frankie’s shyness. Eventually Katie won Frankie over and by the end of the week Frankie was playing and being friendly with Katie! Would highly recommend Katie for your pet!!!”

About: I grew up in a home where we regularly dog sat for neighbors and other families, so dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m probably more comfortable around dogs than I am around most humans. I have several years of dog walking and pet sitting experience (dogs, cats, small animals), and I've lived with large dogs and helped with their daily care. I really love big breeds, but I'm happy with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Long walks are already part of my daily life, and without fail I end up making a new dog friend whenever I’m out. I always joke that dogs can somehow sense how badly I want to be their friend. What I enjoy most is getting to know each pet’s personality and quirks. I stay tuned in to their energy and adjust to what they need: a long adventure, some active play, or just a slow walk and good company. I'm currently between jobs, which means my schedule is wide open and flexible. Mornings, afternoons, evenings, last-minute requests...chances are I can make it work. I'm already out on long walks every day anyway, it'd be infinitely better with a dog by my side! On walks, I defer to whatever the owner prefers (leash habits, routes, pace) and stay attentive to my surroundings so their dog is always safe. When I'm in someone's home, my goal is to keep things as normal as possible for their pet. I follow the owner's instructions closely and don't improvise on things like food, rules, or routines. I treat the home with respect, and I keep owners in the loop with updates and photos, because I know how much it helps to see that your pet is happy and doing well.

“I can't say enough about Maho!! I highly recommend Maho - she's reliable and trustworthy. My older cat, Merlin, gravitated towards Maho right away. Thank you again for watching my precious fur-baby while I was away!”

About: I have cared for cats and dogs my whole life. When I was little I had a Maltese and yorkie and then we had two pit bulls. so I am comfortable caring for both large and small pups! I am available mon-fri and occasional weekends upon request. I recently finished my graduate degree and am using dog walking as a way to support myself while job searching. I can care for pets in clients home. I am unable to take pets to my home as I have my own cats that are not socialized to dogs
“Alex is an excellent sitter! She so clearly loves animals and was so gentle and patient with my shy cat during drop-in visits. She was also very communicative and sent lots of photos and videos. I would definitely recommend!”

About: That’s my 5 year-old Calico girl (also have a little dog). I enjoy petting her (when allowed), playing catch (when she feels like it), and brushing. I am a thorough litter sifter. I’m not scared of trimming claws once the trust is established.

“Jennifer is absolutely amazing. Incredibly thorough, responsive, and an incredibly kind person. We had no worries while we were away thanks to Jennifer! Chuck is looking forward to next time already! 😁”

“Amanda and Steve met for a doggy park meeting beforehand and I knew they could be trusted from there. Amanda took great care of Missy and was very communicative the entire time. I revived many pictures where Missy looked very happy. Missy got along great with Amanda’s pup too! I will definitely book with them again!”

“Aaron was so intuitive with our somewhat selectively social dog. I could tell he knew how to work with dogs immediately. Aaron also was east to coordinate and communicate with. Quincy can’t wait to stay with Aaron again!”

“Will and Flora are great! We left out pup at their place for doggy daycare and she was well cared for and happy. Will and Flora are responsive, responsible, and kind. Would certainly do it again.”

“Exceptional Sam and Venkat, as expected! They never fail to impress and shower my Basset with kindness and attention. We have become loyal visitors and will continue to do so as long as they will have us!”

About: I grew up in a cat household but have had my pup for 12 years since she was a puppy. I love all animals and have grown particularly fond of small dogs since my dog was gifted to me 12 years ago! I only work 3 days a week and on the days I’m home, I’d love to care for your small dog! My girl is used to dogs visiting and I am happy to love on your baby like my own! Dogs are allowed on couches and beds. I never allow them in the backyard without supervision and is not a substitution for regular walks every 2 hours (or more as needed). Also, I am a human nurse so I would be comfortable with administering medications as necessary!
About: We’ve raised puppies and kittens and have experience caring for senior pets. We’re a fun, attentive couple who loves to play, stay active, and make pets feel safe, loved, and right at home. Since we both work from home, we’re able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. Walks, playtime, feeding, and care easily fit into our routine. We prioritize safety, comfort, and routine. We carefully follow feeding, walking, and care instructions, keep a clean environment, and make sure pets feel secure, supervised, and well-loved at all times.
About: Being raised in a family/community with roots in agriculture has blessed me with ample opportunities for pet care. Taking care of dogs and cats in the city not only helps me find flexible work while finishing my Master’s degree, but also provides me with the fulfillment and joy I get out of caring for pets. Let me help you by providing an stress-free experience of care for your fur baby(ies), whether they be big or small, shy or social grumpy or cuddly, sick or healthy. I prioritize patience, trust, and confidence during walks. I specialize in leash training, and have had much success working with dogs that need help with pulling and/or are reactive around other dogs. I am a grad student and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am typically home writing or caring for clients throughout the day. Before caring for your pet, I always make sure to get all of the essential details that would prepare me for any scenario. My goal is to make sure your pet has as little difference in care as possible compared to when parents are home. Whether it’s assuring your expert escape artist stays indoors, or keeping an eagle eye on any sign of a string or hair tie begging to end up as a snack, I will have the same level of diligence for their safety as you do. Communication about their quirks, health concerns, and preferences helps me form a safe and positive bond while in your home or on walks.
“My girl has separation anxiety and dog reactivity, so i’m always a little worried, but I returned to a happy little wiggler who seemed to have had an excellent time hanging out at Ashley’s!”

“Katie was available with less than 24 hours notice and was very flexible when I needed to find a dog sitter last minute so I could go to jury duty. Her place is conveniently located in Northern SF for me. My dogs’ comfort was clearly important to her.”

“Eleanor was super communicative and took the best care of Lani! She also took Lani in for day care super last minute and was flexible with timing, which I really appreciated. 10/10 recommend!”

“Mikele was fantastic with Archie! She was flexible when we were running way late for drop off. She sent lots of photos and made us feel so at ease while we were out. We hope Archie gets to see Mikele again soon!”

“Amazing! Took a trip to SF and was worried about finding a dog sitter for the day. Very trustworthy and glad he took such great care of her. Definitely will trust him again with my Brisket.”

About: I'm a foreigner and I should have left my little Hachi and Bailey in my country with their grandmother, my mom🤣 it's hard to be away from them and my way of spreading the love I feel for animals is by helping to take care of them, even for a couple of hours. I can guarantee that I will take care of them and give them love for as long as you need as if they were mine❤️ The work you currently do leaves me a lot of freedom of time, it can be said that I am my own boss, I can adapt to the time I need to take care of your pets, it would only be a matter of talking about it beforehand and with time. I really have availability every day I don't have dogs at home, my garden is fenced but my apartment is small and I consider it preferable to play or take care of pets in their comfort zone, but I have no problem bringing them home if necessary.
About: I have over seven years of experience as a trusted pet sitter providing attentive and loving care for dogs of all ages. As a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy because they are our babies!!! I don't have a job besides this, so 1 will make sure that your baby is my priority! I don't have a current job so I will be with your furry baby the entire time! His/ her schedule is my schedule - whatever is needed, I'm your girl! At the clients home, I will make sure to know exactly where the favorite toys are, daily routine and food. I will do an orientation ahead of time to make sure l am prepared. I don’t have a current job so taking care of your baby is my ultimate priority! I am very active always walking around the city, so I will be sure to take great care of your pup, get all the exercise! I’m happy to come to your area during the day or have your pup stay with me in my place - whatever you prefer! At the clients home, I first love to do an orientation to understand all the details of your baby - favorite toys, habits, activity, food, treats, etc Dogs are my passion so I will take care of your baby like my own!
“Johnny was extremely kind, caring, and responsive. I constantly received updates and pictures so it made our first stay very comfortable. I'll definitely be leaving my pup with Johnny again!”

“Can't say enough good things about Renee. Great communication, multiple updates with photos throughout the day showing a happy and relaxed pup. Rocky immediately bonded with Renee. She was sensitive to his moods and took him on extra walks if needed. He loves looking out the window and hanging with Colby (her pup). Rocky has high anxiety and when i drop him off in the morning, he's excited to see her and is totally relaxed in her home. We will be regular clients for sure.”

“Jesse saved us when we were in a last minute bind. He sent us pictures of Clyde, and he came back to us happy and tired from playing all day. 10/10!”

“Lily provided daycare at her home to my one gear old mini aussie as she was recovering from getting spayed. She followed the schedule I gave her, sent lots of pics, and my dog was happy to see her in the morning, wiggling her little butt, which is always a good sign. We would definitely use her again.”

“Anais is fantastic! She's responsive, communicates clearly, and treats pets with genuine kindness and care. I trust her completely to walk my dog and always feel confident knowing my pup is in good hands.”

About: While the rest of my family is remarkably allergic to just about anything with fur, I’ve been the odd one out, and able to interact with all kinds of furry friends. I spent a large amount of time during my childhood helping my pediatrician take care of, and walking, their two dogs, a Great Dane, and a Pitbull. Both dogs ended up adoring me, and this eventually extended to any friendly dog I’ve encountered since. My current work situation has me free to provide care for any furry or fuzzy friends most days in the week, with the only limits being some personal commitments on Fridays and Weekends. I follow all provided instructions regarding the pet to the letter, and make sure to check-in with the owners when possible. I make absolutely sure that the pet is comfortable, cared for, and safe for the entire time I’m providing care
“Samuel did a great job walking my dog when I last minute needed help! He sent a nice photo after so I could tell my dog had a nice time, and he was communicative. Would recommend!”

“Jesse was super flexible and took care of my baby with last minute notice! Knowing that he was getting attention and exercise from Jesse put this new dog mom at ease while being at work. Will definitely be a regular of Jesse’s clients!”

About: Hi, this is Bryan! I have a 5 year-old Yorkie boy (and a cat). We go on walks 3-4 times a day, we clean our face, paws, pp, and butt after each walk. While my dog is a couch-potato when he’s with me, he enjoys meeting and playing with other dogs, big or small. Hair brushing can be therapeutic. My professional background is Marketing, Branding, and Communications. So communication is a big thing for me. I like clear instructions, asking questions, providing updates, etc. Look forward to connecting and helping you with your fur babies! I’m currently a full-time stay home pet parent. So my schedule is highly flexible. It would be great if my 8 lb Yorkie can tag along, but not a must. Also, it would be ideal if I can reserve 3-5 hours/day away from your house during house sitting, to run errands or grab dinner with my husband. Let’s chat and find out the best schedule that works for us. Communications is key. I’m willing to accommodate your requests in taking special care for your pet because you know them the best, and each pet has their own likes and dislikes.

“Aaron provided excellent care for our dog Honey. He walked her 6x over 2 weeks. Honey was timid the first couple of times, but Aaron was very patient with her while the trust grew. He’s very communicative and flexible which is greatly appreciated. We’ve already booked him for the next time we need dog walking services!”

“Jillian was so helpful with my pups. She got stuck walking them in the rain and even dried them off after. She also helped feed them when I was gone an excessively long day. Would definitely use her again. Thanks Jillian!”

About: I started pet sitting in college, assisting at Pet Girls Pet Sitters in Austin, TX. Since then, I've reliably watched my friends' and family's furry friends. I've fostered a handful of dogs, young and old <3, which was such a fun time! I'm currently working part-time during the day and have a flexible schedule. I have a car and a bike and can get around the city reliably. I've fostered a number of dogs, young and old. I have experience hanging out with and taking new-to-me dogs on walks and for playtime.
“Johnny is great with Ingrid! She loves seeing him and has no problem leaving us while we visit museums in SF. He takes her to the beach and fun hikes in The Presidio/Baker Beach area. We are grateful to know him and trust Ingrid is in good hands.”

About: I focus on structured, consistent care with every walk. Each outing is approached the same way; calm, well-paced, and tailored to the dog in front of me. I work with a range of dogs, including seniors who prefer shorter, slower routines, and I’m attentive to how each dog settles into their environment over time. I’m registered with the City of San Francisco and certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, with safety built into every outing. What sets me apart is reliability and consistency. I keep a steady schedule, communicate clearly, and aim to provide a routine both you and your dog can count on. I’m a certified dog walker based in San Francisco, and my foundation is built around straightforward, reliable care. After spending time in the tech world, I shifted into work that’s more hands-on and consistent — something that fits both how I work and how dogs thrive. I focus on showing up on time, paying attention, and keeping routines familiar. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their pace, energy level, and comfort cues. Safety and clear communication are priorities, and I aim to make things easy and predictable for both you and your best friend. I’m located in the Richmond District and currently serve the surrounding neighborhoods, with plans to expand into the Sunset District. Staying local allows me to be dependable and build ongoing relationships rather than one-off visits. I live with dogs of my own and have experience across different sizes and personalities. I spent ten years with my German Shepherd, Dexter, and now share my life with two rescue pups — Gnocchi, a small poodle–chihuahua mix, and Sprout, a medium-sized shepherd mix. That day-to-day experience helps me understand what dogs actually need, not just what looks good on paper. At the end of the day, I want to be someone you feel comfortable reaching out to and confident trusting with your dog. Life happens. Sit Happens. Your dog still gets the care they deserve.
“Taylor has been easy to communicate with and has done an excellent job walking my pup while I’m away, will definitely be using her for my pup care needs moving forward!”
About: Hello! I’ve been in the SF area for over 3 years now! I’m up for taking small and medium sized dogs on walks. I’ve done some dog walking when I was younger and am very persistent in watching dogs cues throughout a walk. I've taken care of cats since I was in high school. Many neighbors and family members have asked me numerous times to watch their cats! I have experience with both young and older cats. It can be hard to leave your cat at home, which I am very familiar with as I have a 2 cats of my own. I strive to make sure your cat feels loved and cared for by feeding them, changing water, cleaning their litter boxes, and lots of play time! In my free time, I volunteer at the SF SPCA where I help kittens and cats socialize and acclimate to human interaction. I currently work at Sutter Health CPMC as a music therapist, Monday through Fridays. I am available after 5:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and available on most weekends. I’ll let each dog/cat take their time in getting to know and build trust with them as in order to take them for walks or have them interact/play with me. I give my cats extra play time especially at night/dusk as they are nocturnal animals and would do so if checking in with your cat in the evening. I respect the cat's space and environment, letting them lead whether how affectionate they want to be or how much space they need.
About: I’ve been walking dogs since my family adopted Baby Bear (not a bear) when I was in middle school. I’m ready to meet a dog exactly where they’re at, which I can usually tell pretty quickly. I’m down to roll around on the ground at a moment’s notice. I mostly work remotely, with flexible hours, and I go for long walks in the middle of the day anyway, so it’s easy to bring a dog along! I can handle basically anything your dog throws at me wlth aplomb, and if the job requires me to be in your home, I’ll show it the utmost respect.

“Really thankful to have found Flora and William to watch my dog for a weekend trip! They kept a close eye on her and made sure she was entertained throughout her stay :)”

“Maria was so great! This was my pup’s (Wednesday) first time staying anywhere without me and I was quite nervous about leaving her with a stranger. Maria set up a meet-and-greet and I got to see her beautiful home + backyard, and intro Wednesday to her pup (+the other dogs she was caring for). It’s clear that Maria has put a lot of effort into having a good space to host dogs and this had me feeling a lot more comfortable leaving my pup with her for the weekend. Maria sent lots of photos while I was away. It was clear that Wednesday enjoyed her stay 😁”

“We were very happy with Mikele's care and attention to our dog Max. We look forward to rebooking in the future. Max came home calm and content. Communication and updates were excellent as well.”

“Jesse watched our puppy for almost 2 weeks while we traveled overseas and took the best care of her!! She gets anxious whenever we leave her someplace new but showed no signs of anxiety whatsoever at Jesse’s - and she made lots of new friends!”

“Maggie, Carlo, and Mitzy took great care of our 6 month old puppy when we unexpectedly had to go out of town last minute. We really appreciated the flexibility when we had uncertainty on our return date and needed to change it. We loved the videos and photos we received each day - Norman seemed to have a great time and we will be repeat customers going forward!”

“Maria and Alejandro were so great with Enzo! They were communicative and kept us updated with photos. Extremely flexible when our flights were delayed and gave Enzo the best place to stay.”

“Alina was incredible, she made my family and I feel at ease knowing our dog was being cared for to a high standard. She kept us informed with how Orla was doing with regular updates. We would highly recommend Alina.”

“Cynthia, Chi, and their family were amazing dog sitters! They were extremely attentive and accommodating to all of my dog’s (Summer’s) needs. They have their own goldens and were well aware of how to take care of mine very seamlessly. They also provided Summer with plenty of exercise, love, care, and attention which they were shared in several pictures and videos throughout each day. I would definitely recommend and look forward to Summer’s next stay when I travel out of town. Thank you again!”

“Annabelle and her family were extraordinary hosts for my dog this past weekend. They spent a lot of time playing with him and planning adventures around the neighborhood for them. I also received regular communication updates about how he was doing with them over the weekend. Her and her family were also very accommodating with his adjustment period to his stay.”
