“We have booked Kristin multiple times to puppy sit our 12 week old puppy and she has been fantastic! She is very dog savvy, communicative and kind. Highly recommend!”

“Femke was the best! She clicked with Fernet immediately and from the photos she sent, he spent most of our trip on her lap :). Femke was incredibly communicative and made sure we had daily updates with photos and videos of thier adventures. Would definitely book again!”

“Shihua was so great with our two little chi mix babies!! I really appreciated her thorough communication and the genuine care she showed for their wellbeing. Would definitely book with her again!!”

“Dionie always takes great care of both of our animals and you can tell they have fun with him. Dionie is very communicative and sends great photos and updates!”

About: I've had about 30 dogs throughout my life. My last dog Lola was a fully trained service dog. I seem to understand dogs and they understand me. I've never been bitten, and I'm well-versed in training dogs in a very kind and gentle way. I've always dreamed of being a dog sitter and finally, at this point in my life, I have the time to fulfill my lifelong dream. I'm responsible, and physically fit which allows me to handle multiple dogs when necessary. If the owner wants their dog to go on a long hike or a brisk walk it's something I can easily provide. This allows me to work with dogs of all ages and sizes. I've had experience in training many types of dogs including crate training puppies. I specialize in working with larger dogs typically in the 50 to 90+ lbs range. I watch my partner's 90 lbs dog regularly and I also watch two of her children's dogs which are 90 and 70 lbs. I have two daughters who grew up with many dogs from puppies to fully grown rescue dogs. There are many children who have never learned how to approach and interact with dogs. One of my passions is helping children learn how to approach a dog and learn the proper way to interact and get to know them. Especially, those who are scared and unfamiliar with the behaviors of different dogs. I'm primarily a writer and still do some IT Consultant project work. Taking care of dogs gives me the freedom to do the two things I love the most. Writing and hanging out with dogs. I have the freedom to be available when needed by the dog owner and have a very flexible schedule. I live in the Outer Richmond. I'm just a few blocks away from Lands End, Ocean Beach, and Golden Gate Park. I prefer to work with clients in the Presidio. Lincoln Park. Inner, Central, and Outer Richmond. Seaclift, Inter, Central, and Outer Sunset. Most of my work is done at the client's home and in the area. I'm very respectful of a client's home and property. My references can attest to the fact that I keep things clean and orderly. It's my policy to leave a client's home exactly as they left it. I have a clean and safe fenced-in backyard. While I live in a large 3-bedroom 2-bath flat I believe most dogs would enjoy the environment around me and not being stuck inside. I specialize in working with large dogs typically between 50 and 90 lbs. I've had well over 30 dogs throughout my life and have trained many of them. I fundamentally believe that a dog should have the most enjoyable life possible. They have a relatively short life span and should be allowed to be dogs within certain limits. In addition, I will always follow the directions given to me by the owner.
“We booked with Emily for a long stay with our two pets. She takes them on some fun adventures and sends plenty of updates! She is a trustworthy sitter that we would recommend to anyone!”
“Lillian was an absolute gem. From the moment she arrived, she was communicative, warm, and clearly genuinely cared about making sure my dogu was happy and comfortable. She sent regular updates so I never had to wonder how my girl was doing. When I got home my apartment was spotless — she treated my space with complete respect. If you're looking for someone you can fully trust with your dog and your home, look no further. I'll absolutely be booking again.”

“I am SO lucky to have found Noelia to watch my beloved Theo while I was out of town for a bachelorette trip last weekend! She came over a few days before I left for a meet and greet/information session and Theo practically melted into her lap. While I was gone, she sent updates on how he was eating (he can be an anxious guy) and photos and videos of their neighborhood adventures together which was super adorable and so heartwarming. For my first time using rover AND having somebody new stay in my apartment with my 11lb pride and joy, I couldn’t have made a better choice with Noelia. I will be reaching out for her care again!! 🫶🏻🐾”

About: I've had a rescue dog named Boo, she was a senior cockerspaniel that lived for 16 years. She had low energy, was very calm, and easy to take care of. I understand for a senior dog you need to take your time with them. I've also dealt with a senior German Shepherd who has Degenerative Myelopathy. I had to express his anal glands/ bladder and change his diapers I'm currently working part-time, so i'll have time to take care of your dogs! I'm free almost everyday except when i have to work at the dog kennel and the food truck I have a fenced backyard and a room for the dog to live in. At my clients home, ill be attentive and keep the dog company.

“Sarah was a great sitter and I would definitely book with her again. I booked on short notice and she was very accommodating of my arrival and departure times which were a bit in flux. I came back to a clean house and a happy pup. Thanks Sarah!”

“Caroline is attentive, thoughtful and truly listens to all the details a dog owner leaving their dog worries about! She totally pulled through for us as our dog had recently been sick and was on meds and a new diet so the stay was more involved than it would have been typically and she handled it all perfectly. It was my son's wedding weekend and we were able to enjoy and relax because we knew our guy and our house were in great hands. And, a bonus is that she is a lovely person and waited patiently for our sometimes timid guy to warm up to her. She is great! Thank you Caroline!”

“Gianna was great with Athena and she left my place in such great condition. I was worried Athena would be a handful because she’s a stubborn pup but Gianna reported no issues. Thanks so much!”

“Amina took care of my senior cat Taylor for a long weekend and I definitely recommend her to look after your pets. She was kind enough to meet before the stay and Taylor was comfortable with her presence and was out and about the whole weekend. Amina took daily photos and kept my apartment clean for my arrival. Book her if you need someone to look after your apartment and beloved pets!”

“Nicole did a great job at house/pet sitting. She was responsive, respectful, and made the whole process super smooth. Came home to a clean house and a happy pup. Thanks Nicole!”

About: When I was 8, my family adopted a senior dog from Muttville named Lady. She was blind and deaf, and very high maintenance. I cared for her by helping make her food, carrying her up and down stairs, and gave her so much love up until she passed away. My family now owns a dog and a cat, and the care I learned from Lady now is implemented into my daily life with them both. Since discovering my love for animals, I have cared for my neighbors pets whenever they ask, and I always form a strong bond with each cat and dog on my street. I am available for any time throughout the week to care for your animals. I feed and walk my dog in the mornings, and play with my cat outside too! I make sure to spend a lot of time with the animals I look after, because I genuinely enjoy playing and forming a connection with them!
“Thank you Jesse. You took excellent care of our aging (with dementia) lab (canine cognitive disorder) and our younger lab who is rarely ill but decided to give you a special present of intestinal upset ( very sorry for that). Thanks again - super job.”

Melissa was amazing! Felt at ease with her from the moment she arrived. She so clearly has a soft spot for animals. She left the house even better than how she found it, which was a lovely surprise. Would love to have her care for our blind and special needs pup again!

We were so lucky to find Sally! We booked Sally for a last-minute, week-long sit and coudn't be happier. Sally took great care of our critters and held down the fort. She is kind, communicative, and gracefully managed little mishaps our crew threw her way during her stay. We have a senior cat and dog who enjoyed lots of TLC and patience from Sally. We hope to book again!

Caroline is attentive, thoughtful and truly listens to all the details a dog owner leaving their dog worries about! She totally pulled through for us as our dog had recently been sick and was on meds and a new diet so the stay was more involved than it would have been typically and she handled it all perfectly. Iliana was an excellent house and pet sitter who handled all the details of meds for a seniorish dog and senior cat including insulin injections with ease. She also dealt with unforeseen issues with the pets and house with thoughtfulness and calm. We appreciate her so much and the pets adored her as was seen in all the daily pics she sent. We would strongly recommend her and hire her again for sure.

I couldn't have been happier with the care my two dogs and my cat received. It was clear from the start that she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. She kept me updated, was easy to communicate with, and made being away from my pets so much less stressful. I came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and a spotless home. I would absolutely trust her with them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter

Kaia was caring and very communicative when she looked after our dog in our home for a week. Our home was clean and well-taken care of. She even offered to pick up groceries for us before we got back! Nova seemed happy and healthy and we got multiple daily updates about what she was up to. Would definitely book Kaia again.

Emma took great care of our puppy Sprite and our home while we were out of town. Emma is communicative, kind and respectful. She came to meet our puppy after we made the booking, and sent us picture updates of Sprite while we were gone. I would book Emma again.

Christy was wonderful! We have one very confident senior dog and one very timid adolescent puppy. Christy was amazing with both and making sure she was meeting their very different needs. She took the time to get to know them and us, was great with communication, and is an all around lovely human. We look forward to working with her again!

Noel is a phenomenal pet sitter. My dog is my whole heart and is definitely spoiled and slightly picky. She willingly and happily catered to all of his whims and he was happy and healthy upon my return, which is all I really ask for. On top of that, Noel left my house so tidy and clean when I returned, which was so nice to come home to. She provides great and regular updates with photos, videos and description of what they got up to each day. Every neighbor who met Noel while she was caring for my dog reached out to me to let me know how kind she was and that they could tell my dog was happy with her, which is so important to me. Nothing but the most positive thoughts on Noel!!

Lillian was an absolute gem. I'll absolutely be booking again.

Dionie is an absolute rockstar of a dog sitter. Any dog owner who travels knows how important it is to feel comfortable with who’s watching your pet, and Dionie did just that. He was very prompt with giving us updates throughout the day about when our pup went outside how he was eating and how he was doing, and was very clear about when he would and would not be at the house. Without a doubt, we will be reaching back out to Dionie for future needs!
