About: Growing up I had the joy of caring for my childhood dog Snowball. From daily walks, playtime, feeding, and training I learned early on how to care for dogs with patience, love, and responsibility. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for animals, and it’s what motivates me to give every dog in my care the same kind of attention and affection. As someone who works from home full-time, I’m able to give pets in my care plenty of attention. About: I grew up with cats, dogs, hamsters and even a gecko (until my mom made me give him away). Nothing makes me happier than taking a dog for a walk, tossing a tennis ball on a sunny day in San Francisco, or lounging with my cat. A big reason I joined Rover is to have fun hanging out with your pet, but my top priority will always be their care and making sure all their needs are met. Growing up my entire life around pets was one of the things I’m absolutely most grateful for in life. I had a cat named Treats and a Puggle named Frankie throughout my upbringing—both were perfect to me. I’m the type to stop and pet a dog on the street or happily volunteer to watch a friend’s pets. Most recently, I cared for a friend’s wonderful pink-nosed Pitbull, and I’m confident handling both small and large dogs. I currently own a cat and also look after my roommate’s cat while they travel. Beyond feeding and cleaning the litter daily, my cat Noodles is full of energy, so I’m always playing with him around the house to tire him out. I actually rescued Noodles as a kitten off the street while I was living in China, and he’s been with me ever since! I work full-time, but only 2-3 days a week in the office (near The Mint building). The days I go into the office, are pretty flexible—as is when I get into the office and leave. With my pretty flexible schedule. As long as the location of your home is somewhat convenient from my home, commute, or office—I’m more than happy to work around what’s best for you and your pet. More spontaneous gigs are more than welcome as well! Tuesday-Thursday from about 8am to 5:30pm (flexible) are my typically office days/hours. I’m a very early riser, so on these days I may be available in the mornings before I head to the office. And of course after I leave work I am available. Mondays & Fridays I always work at home in Lower Haight area. I would be available before and after work on these days. I can also take about a 45min to 1 hour break during the day to play or go for walks. Weekends, unless I have already indicated I have plans or I’m out of town, they are typically quite free! I definitely can travel a bit farther around the city on weekends. Feel free to ask me what’s possible on my end. Growing up with multiple pets, I was taught from a young age how important it is to take great care of them. I’m a firm believer that if you’re going to bring an animal into your home, you need to meet all of their needs and commit to them like they are part of your family. Beyond the basics with my cats currently at home, I take Noodles for a yearly check with the vet, as well as groom him about once a month. I’ve done pretty extensive research on different cat foods, litters, ways to keep him entertained, etc. — all in the hopes he lives and long a happy life with me. A few house-mates with dogs often times bring them over to our place because they know we all love them. As much as they allow me, I’ll sneak off with their dogs for a walk or some play time in the Panhandle.

During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. I take dogs for multiple walks per day in the neighborhood or at the park. Your dogs can sleep on the furniture or with us in bed if they enjoy a good cuddle

About: Been around animals my whole life. Mostly dogs, some cats, and I was even living with a ferret for years in Denver as well! The majority of the time I have cared for border collies, so I know how to take care of high energy dogs. Panhandle park is only one block away from where I live, so there and Golden Park are my go-to areas for great walks. Our house has plenty of space with a large patio area and small potty area on side. I can spend all my time with your pet! No work at the moment. But will start back up after the holidays. So I will be part time next year, doing both pets and part time job. House has 3 floors, plenty of space, and has a nice outdoor patio and potty area by side of the building. About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats throughout my life. Recently, I started taking care of some of my friend’s pets and have gained valuable experience through them. I have taken care of cats of all sizes and energy levels, and have taken care of small-medium dogs. I’m currently working a full-time job from 7-4, but can swing before or after work, and during lunch time for an hour to take care of your pet! I am free weeknights after work, as well as on weekends. I can do drop-in care every 4 hours on weekdays, can stay overnight if needed, and/or can stay all day on the weekends. I do not have pets of my own, and live in a studio apartment so if your pet will be at my home, you will not need to worry about another pet being there. I have some plants that can be put away in a safe place if needed. If I will be staying at your home or doing drop-in care, I will make sure to treat it with respect and leave it how it was when I arrived.

About: Ive grown up with dogs since I was 12 years old in the south. Many of my friends and family have dogs - I always do informal training and give long walks. I’m exploring getting or fostering a dog in the future and wanted to get involved here as a first step! I’m currently searching for jobs so have a lot of flexibility throughout the week. “Kara and Val were a godsend when we needed a last minute sitter for our pup. Kara was prompt and responsive in setting up a meet & greet where she got to talk with us and get to know Petunia a little bit. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! Kara was great about sending updates and photos and made us feel secure, at ease and able to enjoy our time away. Cannot recommend them enough 🐶😁”

“Yasmim and Kaline went above and beyond to make sure that Jack felt comfortable and secure while I visited my family. Jack has bad separation anxiety, and I really appreciated their efforts. They kept me well informed with frequent messages, photos, and videos, and I could see that Jack was chilling and relaxed. They even captured his goofy smile! Jack takes several medications, and they dosed him on time and without complaint from him. I highly recommend them!”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”
