“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

About: Growing up I had the joy of caring for my childhood dog Snowball. I can guarantee that your dog will feel loved during their stay. About Sparky Sparky is a feisty westie. He’s 7 and 1/2 years old. He’s used to being an only fur child at home, but will quickly adapt to a furry guest (human guests are a different matter). During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. I take dogs for multiple walks per day in the neighborhood or at the park. Your dogs can sleep on the furniture or with us in bed if they enjoy a good cuddle

About: Hey, I'm Taylor! Loving animals is not my whole personality, but it's close. I've been taking care of dogs big and small since I was a kid, and done more serious pet sitting and walking for friends & neighbors since 2017. Pictured is Wheezy, the love of my life: a half Boston Terrier half Pitty I rescued around 5 years ago and nursed back to health. Holler with any questions! I am a journalist and work weird hours! Generally available for afternoon and evening walks both week days and weekends on a case by case basis!. I have a fenced garden area where my pup loves to tromp around. I also live very close to Alamo Square Park, where we love to walk and play if you're comfortable with your pup being social. I've trained Wheezy to return when off-leash but never let other pups off leash without owner permission. In the home, I've got a large crate if needed.
About: I rescued a puppy in 2010, trained him, walked him daily, and loved him unconditionally through his energetic puppy phase, teen angst (not actually because he was always happy), adulthood, and silver sunset senior days. He lived a happy and healthy 14 years, and now I am joining Rover to continue my care for dogs until I feel ready to adopt a new puppy. I have boarded several family and friend's dogs in the past since they know I am responsible, active, and trustworthy! I work from home (fully remote) so would never leave your pet during the workday to commute to an office. I have a very flexible schedule so I can easily take your pet out to go to the bathroom and walk whenever. I live within walking distance of the Panhandle and Golden Gate Park. I also have a fenced backyard, so I have access to plenty of places to walk dogs. I live on the garden level of a Victorian home, so it is very easy for me to take the dog outside. I would let your dog roam freely around my 2 bedroom unit, but don't allow dogs on the couch or bed.
About: I was born onto a ranch with goats, chickens, a cat, and a whole bunch of dogs. Throughout my childhood, we also took in dogs through the foster care system which allowed me to experience dogs from all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. About: When I was 8, my family adopted a senior dog from Muttville named Lady. She was blind and deaf, and very high maintenance. I cared for her by helping make her food, carrying her up and down stairs, and gave her so much love up until she passed away. My family now owns a dog and a cat, and the care I learned from Lady now is implemented into my daily life with them both. Since discovering my love for animals, I have cared for my neighbors pets whenever they ask, and I always form a strong bond with each cat and dog on my street.
