What sets me apart is the level of personalized care and communication I provide. During house sitting stays, I focus on one family at a time and do not divide my attention between multiple clients. This allows me to provide dedicated one-on-one care and fully follow your pet’s routine, preferences, and needs. I have experience caring for small dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, long walks, extra cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I adapt my care to their individual personality. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet while traveling, especially for longer trips. That’s why I provide high-quality real-time photos and videos throughout the day, along with detailed daily updates about meals, water intake, potty habits, exercise, medications, mood, energy levels, and overall well-being. I also carefully monitor any changes in appetite, behavior, or routine and keep detailed notes when needed. When you return home, you’ll have a clear understanding of how your furry family member has been doing, making it easy to continue their care and routine without missing anything important. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own family. My goal is not only to care for them, but to help them feel loved, understood, and secure while you’re away.

I provide care in my client’s home so pets can remain comfortable in the environment they know and love. Shihua was awesome, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care while I was away. We first did a meet and greet so she could meet my dog and get to understand his schedule and needs. And during the stay she sent me lots of photos and videos. I would happily have Shihua watch my dog again when I’m away!
Shihua took exceptional care of my two pups, paying close attention to their medications and routines. She was an excellent communicator, sending frequent updates and videos that made me feel connected and reassured. I also came home to a spotless house. I’m so grateful, and would absolutely trust her with our dogs and home again!

Shihua was wonderful! This was my first time leaving my 8-month old kitten. As a new cat mom, I was pretty nervous. Shihua instantly put me at ease! She graciously came over a week early to meet Teddy. I could tell from the first interaction she had a true passion for care-taking. I got daily photos and videos. Shihua definitely has a kind and tender heart, sensing that I would miss Teddy terribly. She also sent updates on Teddy’s health as he recently finished a round of antibiotics. I felt safe leaving him in such confident and capable hands. I could not have asked for a better experience! Whole-heartedly recommend :)
My dog sitter got sick and had to cancel at the last minute, so found Shihua close to my leave date. She was nothing but responsive, came over for a meet and greet, asked all the right questions, etc. My dog took to her sweet and kind personality, got lots of updates, and the 4-day sit went great! She also left the house in tip-top shape! I would definitely use Shihua again and recommend her without question.

During house sitting stays, I prioritize maintaining your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free while you’re away.
