About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with dogs and cats! I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.

About: I'm a communications professional for 30 years now, so it comes natural for me to share with pet owners every milestone of any day they're apart from their pets and trusting me with their care. For 20 years, I've cared for my friend's dogs, cats, and chickens in the Bay Area just for the fun of it. Now I'd like to open my experience and hope it will lead to more travel when I retire in a few year. Also, I have a veterinarian friend on speed dial. I've never had to call in an emergency. About: All my life I have had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at all times. My mother did not want to take care of these animals by herself. I was active in 4-H and trained Belgian Sheepdogs in positive-reinforcement based obedience. I've owned dogs as small as a Japanese Chin and as big as a Newfoundland, so I understand different dog temperaments and energy levels. I've also been watching friends' and neighbors' pets for several years, including high-anxiety cats, senior dogs, and recent rescues - helping them to feel calm and secure while away from their family. I work from home full-time, so your pet will never be left alone for long. For play time, potty break, and snuggles, I'll be there. I can easily walk dogs multiple times a day and will be around most of the day to keep any dog or cat visiting me company. Sometimes I may pop out for a gym session or grocery run, but that's about it. I mostly just miss having a pet so I'll be so happy to be around yours! I have no pets of my own currently. I live in a secure, quiet apartment. Depending on pet needs and temperament, they can have the run of the apartment or be limited to the main living room (which is where I work). My apartment has no yard but I'm in a great neighborhood for walks and I make sure doggies get plenty of fresh air. Since it is an apartment, if your dog is extremely active and boisterous, they may be happier boarding somewhere with more room to run.

“We have only left Koba with family or one other sitter so when she told me she would be out of town I was worried about finding another sitter but we got lucky with Mike! We liked that he seemed to understand bully breeds and instantly felt at ease after the meet and greet. Mike kept us updated throughout the day with lots of videos and photos of all their little adventures around scenic SF areas. Koba definitely looked like he was having a blast. He was a little anxious/restless the first night but Mike was super understanding. He was so spoiled with love and attention and I’m so grateful we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our pup. Thank you so much Mike for taking such good care of Koba! About: I've taken care of family and friend's pets over the past 2 years, becoming a trusted sitter known for taking them on adventures! When I'm with a dog, we go on long walks, hikes, and runs together. I am a teacher looking to sit on weekends or during school breaks! I am available for boarding and walks Friday-Sunday, but I have a lot of flexibility around holidays due to my job. I have no other pets so yours will get all the attention! I do not accept pets when I am working so we will have a lot of time together. My apartment has a small yard for quick potty breaks and I love going to a park to play.
About: Been around animals my whole life. Mostly dogs, some cats, and I was even living with a ferret for years in Denver as well! The majority of the time I have cared for border collies, so I know how to take care of high energy dogs. Panhandle park is only one block away from where I live, so there and Golden Park are my go-to areas for great walks. Our house has plenty of space with a large patio area and small potty area on side. I can spend all my time with your pet! No work at the moment. But will start back up after the holidays. So I will be part time next year, doing both pets and part time job. House has 3 floors, plenty of space, and has a nice outdoor patio and potty area by side of the building. Fur babies are allowed of furniture ( but only some beds).
