We had a meet and greet twice before we actually left my pup with Go and his wife. They were kind to Hira, asked good questions, clearly went through my care instructions. Archie is diabetic with various health issues and Ferlanti send videos of her giving insulin- she took everything I asked of her into careful detail. She noticed Archies breathing was off and immediately let me know and came back to stay with him outside of her sitting times until someone could take him to the emergency vet. While at the vet, she checked in with me on how he was doing and worked with me even if any requests needed to be changed. She kept me updated constantly, cleaned up the messes and kept my apartment tidy & really helped keep me at ease. I can tell how much she loves animals and cares so deeply about taking such great care of them. I would recommend her over and over and over. Archie is a sweet cat but he definitely needs a lot of attention and I felt so confident leaving him in her care. She is absolutely incredible and I cannot thank her enough for each and everything she did for me and my boy!!!”
“Samantha was simply incredible. She's a cat person through-and-through. She dropped by for daily visits for about a week and always left great videos and photos. Both of our cats have quirks, including picky eating habits, diabetes, and occasionally peeing outside their litter box. But Samantha wasn't phased by any of it. Our cats can be standoffish, but it was obvious that Samantha made them feel comfortable. I will absolutely be contacting her in the future to take care of our cats, and I recommend you do, too!”

During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. About: Hello! My name is Serena, and I have a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Ever since I was brought home from the hospital, I’ve been surrounded by dogs and have always considered them part of the family. My parents adopted my soul dog, Millie, a German Shepherd featured in my photos. I took her everywhere with me, which gave me extensive experience with larger breeds as well as dogs with reactivity and unique behavioral needs. During college, I volunteered at the San Luis Obispo County Animal Shelter, where I worked closely with many large breeds, including German Shepherds, Huskies, Pit Bulls, and more. Through this experience, I became comfortable handling escape artists, reactive dogs, and pets who need extra patience and time to build trust. While most of my experience has been with dogs, I’ve also had the opportunity to care for cats in recent years and have really enjoyed learning the differences between cat and dog care. In fact, the cat distribution system chose me itself! I have a senior cat back home who decided I was her person, and she now spends her days interrupting my reading sessions whenever she feels it's time for some extra attention. Caring for her has taught me the importance of respecting a cat’s boundaries while also recognizing the unique ways they show affection and build trust. Building trust and a positive relationship with each pet is also a priority for me. I take the time to learn their comfort levels, communication style, and individual needs so they feel safe and secure in my care. Safety always comes first. Before any walk or outing, I make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes are properly fitted and secure. I am mindful of weather conditions, a pet's energy level, and their comfort around other animals and people. Pets will remain leashed during walks unless they are in a secure, fenced area such as a backyard or dog park, and only with the owner's approval and when I feel confident it is appropriate for that individual pet. I also make it a habit to double-check gates, doors, and other potential escape routes, especially for curious pets and known escape artists. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her.
