About: Before I moved to Richmond I rescued animals in WV . I would have puppies in & out for years, nursing them & giving them to proper homes ❤️ I currently work full time so this will be an evening & weekend extra curricular for me , however I do not see this as a job, rather a hobby. Currently I just plan on walking , checking in , feeding etc . I’m currently pregnant & trying to find ways to exercise to improve my health :)

About: What sets me apart is the hands-on experience I have caring for dogs with all different personalities, ages, and needs. In addition to having three dogs and two cats of my own, I have fostered dogs through Bullies to the Rescue and volunteer with Richmond Animal Care and Control, where I serve as a Volunteer Adoption Coordinator Assistant and a trained Three Paw dog walker. I am comfortable working with dogs who may have behavioral challenges and have experience with senior and sick dogs who need extra patience, attention, and care. I truly take the time to get to know each pet as an individual and adjust my care to what makes them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I don't just see pet sitting as a job—I genuinely love animals and treat every pet in my care like they are my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM in East End Henrico, so pet care fits naturally into my routine before and after work. I am available for brief morning visits before work and have much more flexibility after 3:30 PM for longer walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I have open availability on weekends and can be flexible with scheduling. For house sitting, I am also willing to travel outside my normal service area when staying in your home. I take scheduling seriously and will make sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention and care they deserve. I care for every pet as an individual and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and specific needs. In a client's home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible so their pets feel comfortable and secure while their family is away. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, companionship, and love, while also respecting pets who need a little space. I am comfortable caring for senior, sick, special-needs, and behaviorally challenging dogs, as well as cats and kittens. I will follow feeding instructions, medication or special-care directions, and any other routines you provide. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, happy, and cared for—and I want you to have peace of mind knowing they are in good hands.

About: *Note: I have accepted a job and will only be available for occasional services after August 17, 2026. Overnight house sitting availability for short bookings only (1-2 nights). We (myself and my husband, Ricky) are pet lovers and currently have two "wobbly cats". We are able to keep them separate when we host pets at our house. Our beloved dog Zoey passed away a few years ago and we have had cats ever since. Our kids are 9 and 8, and LOVE to help. We joined Rover this summer as I was home with the kids full time, but I am starting a job soon and availability will change. I am home with my kids this summer and our days are filled with a balance of fun and responsibility. We are very flexible with our time, and able to help. We have a fully fenced in back yard. We have chickens in our backyard but they can be kept up in their run if needed.

About: Pets are great blessings to our lives and therefore deserve to be treated with the utmost respect and care we can give them. I will treat your pet as if he or she is my own and ensure they are well-taken care of! I grew up owning a dog and have since added 2 more to my family. I shared the responsibilities of feeding them, playing with them, and caring for each dog with my family members. I would be grateful for the opportunity to get to know and care for your pet! I will be free to care for your pet during both weekdays and weekends. I will have more availability during the summer. Can pet-sit overnight on weekdays as well. I will send pictures of your pet for each walk or stay I do. I am also happy to meet with families to get to know the pet before care starts. About: I’ve had experience with all kinds of pets since I was a child. From scales, to feathers, to fur. I’m a working veterinary professional who can administer medications and supportive care. I will always love and take care of your babies like they are my own I can always do weekend and weekday Petsitting. I work a full time job in Veterinary medicine during the week so afternoon drop ins during the weekdays are limited to 10-15 minutes I always follow the instructions left by my clients. I strive to maintain a clean and orderly environment while making sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. All pets with fenced in yards are typically allowed to roam in the safety of their yard as long as clients don’t have any restrictions in place. If a fenced secure space is not available, I always leash walk to maintain the safety of your pets *please note for walks. Due to the multiple safety hazards of retractable leashes, I require the use of a standard 6 foot leash. If you do not own one, I am able to provide this for the duration of the stay*

About: With three years of experience in animal welfare with time spent at CASPCA, RSPCA and RAL, I’ve had the joy of working with all kinds of dogs and kitties and getting to know the wonderful families who love them. As well as growing up in a rescue based household for German Shepards. About: Hello there! I’m Sam. I’ve loved animals since I was 9 years old and have been a pet sitter on Rover for over 4 years now. As you can see from all my reviews, I enjoy being part of this community! Currently, I have two fur babies of my own: Tango, a Norwegian Elkhound, and Scout, a Pitbull/Yorkie mix. In 2024, my beloved Timmy, a dachshund senior dog passed away at 15 years old, so I also have personal experience caring for older dogs who need a little extra love and specialized attention. I know firsthand how important and how difficult it is to find someone you can completely trust with your pets while you're away. I can assure you that your fur baby will be in safe hands with me. About: I have grown up around, and taking care of animals all my life. One of my favorite quotes speaks dearly to me and is very true; " A house is never lonely where a loving dog waits." I whole-heartedly believe in making your fur babies feel comfortable and loved and reassured while you are away; from snuggles, play time, walks and pictures and updates to you. I have experience being around different types of dog breeds from working in the veterinary field, and having dogs as pets, and family members / friends with dogs. My own dog breeds consisted of a Wolf, a Husky, Jack Russell and Aussie mix and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Cavachon mix. My Aussie Mix was rescued from the Southside SPCA when he was 1yrs old; he is now 2 and a half yrs; the Cavachon mix was given to me because the owner did not want him anymore. My dogs are my world! ( I am that person that takes thousands of pictures of my dogs and spoils them rotten lol). I will make sure to treat your fur babies the same way and keep them safe.
