About: Hi there! I have 7 years of pet sitting experience along with taking care of my own animals throughout my life. I have the most experience with dogs, cats, and birds (though I’m no stranger to farm animals). I love being outdoors and staying active, so I’m always happy to go on walks, play outside, and keep pets engaged and comfortable. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and I always do my best to ensure that they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I work Monday-Thursday 7-5 which means that I am available before and after work and have open days Friday-Sunday. In some cases I’m able to be available during lunch time depending on the proximity of the pet to my workplace. I have a fenced in backyard and live right next to a track for plenty of running/walking time for your pet. I try to stick to the routine of the pet that I’m taking care of so that they aren’t experiencing too much change while their owner is away!

About: I’ve been an avid animal lover my entire life. My family has always had at least 2 pets at any given time and in the past 4 years we have fostered close to 80 pups! I’m currently working towards my CCTBS certification (certified canine training and behavior specialist). I’ve worked at dog daycares as well as the SPCA. During this time, I cared for dogs and cats from all walks of life. I befriended anxious pets who feared humans and gained acceptance from those who show aggression. I have experience with puppies/kittens, seniors, special needs, and more! I specialize in caring for the pets who are a bit more on the nervous side as I am very patient and attentive to detail. That being said, I love a good happy go lucky pet as well! I am also qualified to administer medications, even injectables. Whether it’s a little check in or a long walk, I’m here to help! I work 7am to anywhere between 11am and 3pm, leaving me enough flexibility to care for your pets scheduled needs! My days off vary each week with weekends being mandatory. On my days off, I’m able to provide more flexibility for extended visits and one on one time with your furry friends, just reach out and I’ll let you know what my off days are for the week! If you’re looking for recurring walks or sitting we can discuss that further so I can adjust my schedule accordingly! Your pets will be treated like one of my own, pampered and spoiled! I will follow any guidelines or routines you have in place. If your pet knows any tricks or manners to practice, I’m more than happy to implement those! In each and every visit, I like to take the time to give the animal and the home a once over to make sure everything looks good and safe before I leave.

I also have history of assisting with training dogs. Fortunately, my dad is a vet and I have gained a lot of knowledge through him. About: I’ve ran my own pet sitting business for the last 6 years at my home and have enjoyed it! I absolutely love animals and am ready to give back to the Harrisonburg community by helping pets in need of care and extra love!! About: I grew up helping my mother with her professional dog grooming business. She also bred/registered dogs through the American Kennel Club for a number of years. Working with her I have gained valuable experience taking care and training all kinds of canine companions and will show the same dedication and heart to your best friend as well. I have worked with the bigger breeds such as Rottweilers, Pitt-bulls, Golden Retrievers, Great Danes, and even trained German Shepard’s for police work with my sister. And I have also worked with smaller breeds such as Yorkshire Terriers, Pomeranian, Boston Terriers, and French Bulldogs. My favorite breed of dog is the Australian Cattle Dog for its small size and high energy. Perfect for going on trail hikes with me.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! Growing up as an only child, our pets were my built-in best friends and caring for them was my responsibility from a young age. That love for animals has only grown with me. Over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me to drop in, walk, and stay with their pets while they’re away, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal and their individual personality, routines, and quirks. These days, I’m a mom to a toddler and three very loved pets of my own, including my Golden Retriever, who is always happy to join me for a random walk during the day! I’d love to add a few more furry friends to my walking schedule and give them the same attention, patience, and affection I give my own. In our house, pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care, and I’ll always treat yours with the same love and importance I would want someone to give mine. Whether they need a good walk, some playtime, company, or just someone to make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away, I’d be so happy to be that person! I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout my day! I’m able to come and go as needed, so fitting walks, drop-ins, and visits into my daily routine is easy. I also have a great support system at home, which allows me to be flexible with scheduling and give your pets the time and attention they need. Because my work is remote, I can also bring it with me when needed! If your pet would benefit from a little extra company beyond a typical drop-in, I’m happy to settle in with my laptop and spend some additional time with them rather than rushing out the door. As a mom and pet owner myself, caring for both little humans and furry family members is already a big part of my everyday life. My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or has their own wonderfully specific set of quirks, I want their routine to feel as normal as possible while you’re away.

In 2024, my beloved Timmy, a dachshund senior dog passed away at 15 years old, so I also have personal experience caring for older dogs who need a little extra love and specialized attention.
