I have 16 years of hands-on experience, including rescuing two dogs from 6 months old and loving them all the way through their golden years. As a teacher, my summer is completely wide open! I have full, 24/7 availability for both weekdays and weekends, and I am incredibly flexible and thrilled to travel for overnight house-sitting stays. Whether I am staying overnight at your home or taking your dog out for a walk, I strictly follow all of your specific instructions regarding feeding, routines, and precise schedules. I am highly experienced across all ages—whether that means managing playful puppy energy and potty training, or administering medications and providing gentle senior care. I am always observant, keep pups securely on-leash, and love sending regular photo updates so you can see exactly how much fun and love they are getting at every stage of life! If you choose to board at my home I do have a large fenced in backyard with a covered deck. Your fur baby is allowed to snuggle with me anywhere in my home to get a comfy night’s sleep.

I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own. I make sure to communicate expectations as best as possible to make sure we’re all on the same page.
