About: Owning an anxious or reactive dog can make finding care for them difficult and nerve racking. I know this firsthand as an owner of a reactive dog myself. You need someone who understands their unique challenges and quirks. My goal is to provide patient, low-stress care that helps your dog feel safe and allows you to travel with peace of mind. I'm a clinical psychologist by day and do this purely because I enjoy dogs. My background makes paying close attention to behavior and communication second nature to me. While I'm certainly not a dog trainer or veterinary professional, I pride myself on being patient, observant, and respectful of a dog's unique personality and boundaries. Whatever your dog's situation, I'll try to meet you both where you're at so that everyone feels comfortable and confident. I work full time so I focus my pet care services on evenings and weekends. This allows me to dedicate my full attention to your pet during the time we're together, whether that's an evening walk overnight care. I'll always be upfront about my availability, so you know your pet is getting my full attention. I always let anxious and reactive dogs get to know me on their terms. I won't pet, touch, or even talk to your pet until I have yours and their consent. I do my best to maintain your dog's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications (if applicable), playtime, and any training or behavior preferences. I understand that every dog is different, so I try to let them set the pace.

Sadly, my senior pup, Ruth, just passed away at around 13 years old. I miss her presence and am hoping to fill my extra time with caring for other people’s pets. I am a lawyer with my own business, so I do not work a traditional 9 to 5 and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide pet care during the week and on weekends! About: I have always had a love for animals since a small child. My exposure and interest for neighborhood animals and pets brought on opportunities for pet sitting in my community growing up. This love grew into a passion/career as I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant for 10 years and received my bachelors in Agriculture at Virginia State University in 2020. My schedule is currently flexible until the October 19, 2026 allowing me plenty of time to tend to your pet(s) in need! After September, I will be available Monday-Thursday 6pm to 9pm and Friday- Sunday 9am to 10p. I have my own fur baby by the name of Sebastian. He is a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier who loves to socialize with people and pets. We currently live in a suburban neighborhood that will make you feel safe to leave your fur babies in my hands.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and since meeting my husband in 2018, added two cats to the mix. I’m comfortable with all ages of pets and live in a central location in Richmond. About half of my week is working from home so I have some real flexibility to make drop in visits or take animals for walks. This is a new venture, but think it pairs nicely with my current routine and rhythms. I have a fenced in backyard, which is not very big however I live close to dog parks that are Pfingston as well. I also have Gates within my house to separate animals if needed.

About: A self-proclaimed "cat lady" and lover of animals who's spent years caring for furry family members as well as the lovely homes of their people. (I take great pet pics, too!) It began in the 2000's aughts when I lived at my aunt and uncles home in Maryland, when I took care of their Golden, three cats, and home while they were (often) away. I extended my support to other family/friends. I've also administered meds for pets, including senior pets, and helped pets with bad backs ensure they stay healthy by not jumping, etc. In the real world, I am a communications pro and vocalist who appreciates cool people and cool art. Pets are a gift in life! I am super flexible to adapt to anyone's schedules and routines, seven days per week, morning, afternoon, or evening. My own pet is cared for throughout the day, every day. With my own cat, she eats five times per day (small portions of wet and dry), I play with her, clean her litter box, and attempt to snuggle with her every day. For those with dogs, I basically adhere to their routine. If they can/want to go for longer or more walks, I can support that!

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!
