About: I was raised in a family of animal lovers and helped to care for at least one family pup at all times. From my grandma's cat filled house to my own dogs, I have always been surrounded by a variety of furry friends so I'm very comfortable and experienced with caring for them. I began pet-sitting for neighbors as soon as I got into high school, and I'm very excited to meet some new furry friends! As a second year student at the University of Virginia home on winter break from classes, I've got a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care! I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. About: I've always taken care of my dogs growing up. My dog right now requires a very in depth feeding and medication regimen. She is 13 years old and has a special diet with a very timed out schedule for her medications. I also have experience with young dogs/puppies. I have lots of experience with older cats and a little with kittens, but not a ton. I work in food service during the day, so I have tons of time in the afternoon/evening and night to care for your pets! I can also move my schedule around if needed I've had dogs throughout all my life that have had vastly different temperaments, so I know how to care for animals of all kinds.
