Leaving a pet while traveling is stressful and her twice daily photos and notes took that stress away. About: I have personal experience taking care of (walking, bathing, feeding, enrichment, training) all animals and love to do it. Professionally, I’ve worked at doggy daycares, other dog-walking and pet-sitting apps, and volunteered to assist with puppy births. I work a full-time job, but my hours are flexible which means I have days I am in-office or at home and I do not work weekends. It is very easy for me to leave work to provide pet care and return later that day or make-up hours later in the week. It is very easy to follow a schedule and routine for medications, bathroom breaks, bedtimes, and playtime. About: As the owner of high energy pets, I am an expert at walks and enrichment. I love animals and am often the first person my friends and family ask to watch their pets when they go out of town. I have a flexible schedule and can be available to care for your pets! On weekends, I am available for petting sitting or long walkies. I have a fenced yard and a neighborhood that is good for walks. I have two pets of my own, a service dog dropout and a cat that likes dogs more than people. I am also willing to drive to your home to care for your pets.

“Allison is a terrific person to take care of a house and pets. Good communication, willing to bend as needed. She pet-sat during the single month when my long-haired dog sheds constantly. We have to be vigilant with cleaning the house to keep up with it. She left the house super clean. I felt like a real adult was taking my place. She's not the type who will accept a job, then change her mind and leave you stranded. She's responsible, a person who could manage any situation as well as could be expected, and is up for what comes her way. Allison kept up with our flight arrivals and offered to stay an extra night if we experienced cancelations. She visited first and I showed her the routine which is just so helpful. All good!”

In My Home & Around the Yard: Since I have a moderately sized, fenced-in yard and my own Bernese Mountain Dog, safety at home is mostly about supervising the fun. I never just let the dogs out back and walk away; I’m always out there watching them play to make sure everyone is sharing toys and getting along safely. Before a new pup ever visits, we’ll do a casual Meet & Greet to make sure our dogs vibe well together. Indoors, I keep my home calm and secure, making sure doors are always locked and any human food or hazards are kept way out of reach. In Your Home & On Walks: If I’m coming to your place, I treat it exactly like I’d want someone to treat mine. I stick strictly to the routine you give me for feeding and care. When we head out for neighborhood walks, I always double-check harnesses and collars before opening the front door to make sure nothing can slip loose. I keep a short, secure grip on the leash and stay entirely focused on the dog—keeping an eye out for hot pavement, heavy traffic, or stray dogs so our walks stay completely stress-free.
