“This was my first time using Rover.com. I was nervous about using a service from online and selecting a prover who I was not familiar with. Jay has changed my mind. Her welcome and warm of compassion for my 25 week old pup was so felt. She updated me each day with video and photos of my pup. He looked like he was at home. That really give peace to my heart and I was able to enjoy my mini vacation without fear of him getting abuse. I would use her again and would refer her to other animal lovers. Thank you Jay, my family and ChuckBrown appreciate your love.”

“We are so grateful to have found Ayme! We have an anxious dachshund named Newman that we haven't been able to leave with anyone but my mother. Ayme set up two meet and greets with Newman to garner a relationship with him prior to an overnight stay. Newman was still a bit anxious and fearful when we first dropped him off but both Amye and Andrew went above and beyond to make him as comfortable as possible and everything was great from there on out! We received lots of photos allowing us to relax on our trip knowing that Newman was doing great and with people who truly cared about his well being. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Ayme and Andrew; it meant so much to us and we will definitely re-book.”

“We were very happy with the care that Jennifer gave to our dog. This was our first experience leaving our dog so we were nervous but Jennifer made us feel comfortable and sent pictures each day. Jennifer is very experienced and well trained in dealing with different types of dogs.”

“Laneise made boarding with her so easy. She was so chill and flexible about drop off and pick up during the hectic holiday and that helped a lot! Our dogs loved being at her house and felt right at home. She has a lot of experience with animals and grooming so that is a huge plus! We are so thankful to have found her and will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Matt was absolutely amazing! He took wonderful care of my dog, Kuna, and made sure he was happy and comfortable the whole time. I received updates and pictures that gave me peace of mind, and it was clear that Kuna was well-loved and cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience highly recommend Matt!”

“Amy is the absolute best. She's the only person we count on to take reliable care of our fur baby when we go out of town. It's also a vacation for our dog who loves socializing!”

“Peyton took good care of Kylo while we were traveling. She sent me updates about him time to time along with pictures so I was aware of how Kylo was doing. I highly recommend Peyton for keeping your furry friends while you need. Thank you once again Peyton !”

“Moose always loves staying with Michelle and her sweet pup, Milo! He gets excited when he recognizes where we are and I always know Moose is in great hands!”

“Raye was an incredible sitter for our pup. Pictures/ videos were sent multiple times a day so we were constantly informed on our pup - plus our pup was clearly having a blast so we felt confident that she was well cared for. I would recommend Raye in a heartbeat and would definitely rebook.”

“Myrna is a lifesaver. My sitter canceled on me last minute and Myrna was available within the hour. Ellie usually is pretty shy in new places but she warmed up to Myrna quickly and had a great time.”

“Michaela was AMAZING! So sweet and attentive to Violet, and sent lots of updates and pictures throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. She administered Violet’s medications and special food three times a day with no issues and made everything feel effortless. Michaela was also very easy to schedule with and super responsive with communication. We’re so grateful to have found her and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Cyndi was awesome! Kept both of our 100+ pounders and never flinched! They were so happy with her I thought they may not want to come home! We will definitely be booking another stay with Cyndi!”

“Second time using Miguel’s services it won’t be the last, it is clear my two pups feel very comfortable around him and his family - the communication while they are with him is top tier, and as someone who last minute changes timeframes for pick up and drop off he is very flexible which I appreciate. I will certainly be using his services again, Thank you Míguel!”

“Victoria took such good care of our pup when we were gone for a 10 day vacation. He was happy to play with the other dogs and loved being able to roam the house and lounge on the couch. About: I’ve lived with dogs as long as I can remember and have had a significant part in their care for about 10 years. The last 4 years I’ve been the primary caregiver for my pets. Since I was a teenager I’ve been the designated pet and house sitter for friends and family! I currently work full time but work from home two days per week. My mornings before work and evenings after work are dedicated to the pups. If necessary I am able to take a long lunch for some extra pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard where my friendly pups love to play and a puppy proofed home. Pets are welcome anywhere people are allowed, including furniture. My 2 dachshunds are super outgoing with other dogs and can keep up with big dogs! In a client’s home I will take into account any of the house rules of the pet parents.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough wonderful things about Miguel and his wife! They took amazing care of my fur baby, Church, for the past three days, and the experience was absolutely delightful. From the moment we met, Miguel made sure that Church felt comfortable and safe, even introducing him to their own dog to help them get along. His understanding of dog language, especially with big dogs like mine, is truly impressive. Miguel and his wife are such pleasant, caring people. About: I've loved dogs for the longest time and ever since I've had my own, you quickly realize they are more than a pet, they are family. My dog and I will treat your dog just like family during their visit. I succeeded well in training my dog on my own from house training, to off leash, to playing hide and seek, and I understand the important component of upholding and instilling any of your training while you're not present. As of June 30th, I no longer work remotely, but work very close to home. I still will have plenty of time to give your pup comfort and attention throughout the day. I am available most weekdays and weekends, but may become more limited depending on the season. I have 1 dog, a small Yorkshire Terrier who is known as Mr. President because he loves to greet and befriend each pet or person he sees, no matter the size. He is super friendly and playful and would love to be a great friend and playmate with your pup. I can easily crate your dog if needed with one you provide or with one of my own crates or expandale play pens. My yard is open, but there is plenty of space for fun. I enjoy long walks, so if your pup needs to get in multiple miles, I can make that happen. I have a multi level townhome. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the home except for the kitchen. If your dog loves the outdoors, i have a small deck and a small enclosed front balcony they can hang on. There are plenty of toys and puzzles, but you are of course welcome to provide their favorite toy.

“This was the first time I ever hired a pet sitter so I was so nervous about taking this step but I’m so glad I found Ayme!! She has made this experience such a positive one and my girl Mia absolutely loved her and her family. After meeting Ayme for the first time Mia literally would run inside her house and not even give me a second look whenever I dropped her off that’s how excited she was to be with Ayme ? I was also very appreciative of the pictures Ayme would send me throughout the day. That really put me at ease too. Mia will definitely be a returning customer!”

About: Hello! I am looking to assist with care of your furry friends!! -Combined pet experience of 30+ years, all ages particularly seniors as well! I worked for veterinary services specializing in boarding care for 8 years through out schooling -Will ensure your home is left in the condition received with minimal housekeeping (will take trash out and clean up any pet accidents they may have due to medical conditions. Additional requests can be discussed with or without additional pricing) -Our commitment is to ensure your pets safety, emotionally and physically as if they are our own -Regular updates will be provided streamlining communication -I choose Rover over other traditional “2nd jobs”, because I want to enjoy the work we do! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I have a full-time job, however, remotely!! This allows one person at all times to care for your pets, during most hours! My personal break(s) will be scheduled based on both client and provider agreed upon schedules. For example: after evening pet care, there will be a 2-4 hour provider break for dinner and family time before returning for overnight care. Home has pvc wood vinyl for easy mess clean up. The yard is flat and fully fenced in. Warmer weather will have plastic kiddo pools for dogs to cool off. Meaning, dogs that continually pull excessively while on leash, will either receive short potty breaks, or only “fenced-in” activities. This will be agreed upon at initial encounter. We understand the need to burn off energy! We want to keep everyone safe while we strive to keep the routine as close to yours as much as possible.

About: In addition to having family pets since before I could walk, I started a neighborhood pet sitting business with my sister when I was 10, I worked for a pet sitting/dog walking company out of college, and have cared for more friends and neighbors’ pets than I could count. I Will follow whatever specific guidance you provide for your pet to ensure that there is minimal disruption to their world while you are away.

“I was extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received while with Amanda and her family. Her fur babies were very welcoming to Bentley and I felt he was happy with his new friends. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space . I worried he would not want to leave with me and leave his friends behind. I highly recommend Amanda and will definitely use her in the future!!”

“Aaren & Jordon are truly wonderful puppy sitters! Throughout my pup’s stay with them, I received multiple updates during the day of the fun activities they were getting into. We were put at ease and loved to see our girl so happy while we were apart! We are thankful for them for welcoming our pup into their home with open arms.”

“Allison is confident and understanding when handling our dog reactive pittie. He really enjoyed his stay with her and I had peace of mind knowing we could leave him with someone as knowledgable as her in dog behavior, that also understands his needs for attention and comfort. We're new to Virginia and so relieved to have found her!”

About: For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering care for a herd of goats on Gillie's Creek Park. I am also the primary farm sitter for several friends' homesteads and a frequent pet sitter for friends and acquaintances. I have a broad range of experience: handling elderly animal care, newborn feeding/monitoring, pet anxiety, unique medication/feeding schedules, and general care for most farm/domesticated animals. I have a deep love for animals and their welfare with a desire to assist you and your pet in any way possible. I'm currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule. Typically not away from home for more than 3 hours at a time during marked available hours. My schedule can be adjustable if coordinating in advance. If caring in your home, I ensure that all items are back where they were originally left and that all feeding bowls and areas accessed are cleaned and organized. My home has a fenced-in yard, plenty of plants, natural lighting, and no other pets to contend for attention or food.
