“Jazmine did an amazing job watching our 11 year old chocolate lab. She was always right on time, gave great updates, and (at our request) spent extra time with him at her discretion. She was such a reliable and inviting person, and it made our vacation so much more enjoyable knowing our lab was taken care of! We will definitely be using Jazmine from here on out!”

“Amy was absolutely amazing, I had no worries about my cats when normally I freak out leaving them. She sent amazing pictures of the cats and watered my plants. Thank you again so much!”

“Randi went above and beyond to make sure our animals were taken care of. She even voluntarily took home a chick that could not walk and fixed it's leg so it can get around on its own now. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.”

“Alex is so great! He plays with the kitties and send pics and they seem well taken care of and so does the house! I feel so much better knowing Alex is there for the little monsters!”

“Phyllis was very attentive to my animals. They loved her. She sent pictures of them while I was away and she provided a daily summary of how they were doing daily. I would absolutely use her again.”

“Ashlei was great checking in on my cats everyday and stayed to play with them. Also great photographer and took some of the best pictures of my cats that I have now! Highly recommend”
About: I have always loved animals and have had pets throughout my life. I have cared for my own dogs, as well as pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors. I had a Basset Hound who was part of my family for 10 years, and I also have a Golden Retriever who has been with my family since she was a puppy. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I am a caring, responsible, and patient person who genuinely enjoys being around animals. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable while their family is away. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including puppies and larger dogs, and I am also happy to care for cats. I would love the opportunity to give your pets the same love and attention I would give my own. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will carefully follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, medication if needed, and any other specific care. I will also keep you updated during my visits or stay so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Briar was absolutely AMAZING. She dropped in to check on my girl while I was gone over the weekend. My dog can be very timid with new people and Briar was so patient and gave her all the love that she would allow her to give. Briar made sure to send pictures and update me with each check in. Will DEFINITELY be using her in the future”

“Kat was beyond amazing ! Was able to take care of our dogs short notice on a holiday weekend. Great communication and the pups had a great time. Will be rebooking in the future for sure!”

About: I have always had a love for animals since a small child. My exposure and interest for neighborhood animals and pets brought on opportunities for pet sitting in my community growing up. This love grew into a passion/career as I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant for 10 years and received my bachelors in Agriculture at Virginia State University in 2020. My schedule is currently flexible until the October 19, 2026 allowing me plenty of time to tend to your pet(s) in need! After September, I will be available Monday-Thursday 6pm to 9pm and Friday- Sunday 9am to 10p. I have my own fur baby by the name of Sebastian. He is a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier who loves to socialize with people and pets. We currently live in a suburban neighborhood that will make you feel safe to leave your fur babies in my hands.
About: I’ve lived with dogs as long as I can remember and have had a significant part in their care for about 10 years. The last 4 years I’ve been the primary caregiver for my pets. Since I was a teenager I’ve been the designated pet and house sitter for friends and family! I currently work full time but work from home two days per week. My mornings before work and evenings after work are dedicated to the pups. If necessary I am able to take a long lunch for some extra pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard where my friendly pups love to play and a puppy proofed home. Pets are welcome anywhere people are allowed, including furniture. My 2 dachshunds are super outgoing with other dogs and can keep up with big dogs! In a client’s home I will take into account any of the house rules of the pet parents.
“Having Robin as my pet sitter when I was out of town gave me so much peace of mind. She made sure my two cats were fed, had clean water and litter boxes, and had play time and snuggles! My cat Leo got a UTI right before my trip and had to be on medication. It was such a relief to know that I had already set up for Robin to be there each day so she could give him his pill. She provided me with detailed notes on how the cats were doing and pictures every day. I felt like she cared for my pets as if they were her own and I am so grateful. I would definitely trust Robin with my pets in the future!”

About: A self-proclaimed "cat lady" and lover of animals who's spent years caring for furry family members as well as the lovely homes of their people. (I take great pet pics, too!) It began in the 2000's aughts when I lived at my aunt and uncles home in Maryland, when I took care of their Golden, three cats, and home while they were (often) away. I extended my support to other family/friends. I've also administered meds for pets, including senior pets, and helped pets with bad backs ensure they stay healthy by not jumping, etc. In the real world, I am a communications pro and vocalist who appreciates cool people and cool art. Pets are a gift in life! I am super flexible to adapt to anyone's schedules and routines, seven days per week, morning, afternoon, or evening. My own pet is cared for throughout the day, every day. With my own cat, she eats five times per day (small portions of wet and dry), I play with her, clean her litter box, and attempt to snuggle with her every day. For those with dogs, I basically adhere to their routine. If they can/want to go for longer or more walks, I can support that!
About: I've grown up with pets and was practically raised with my parent's first child, our dog Rascal. I adopt senior and special needs dogs and love giving them a safe haven in their later years. I love to walk my own dog, Wilbur and would treat your pet like my own. I'm currently available on weekends and work from home on Friday so I have the flexiblity to provide daytime potty breaks if needed. I have reliable transportation and am eager to provide care for your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard, and a dog and cat who would welcome meeting new friends. I also have room to create your pet if needed.
“Allie was great! She took care of our high energy dog and demure cat! She took lots of beautiful photos and updated us at each visit. It really helped us enjoy our weekend away knowing our babies were well cared for. Allie was very kind and responsive.”

About: I will spoil your dogs like I do mine! They will be entertained and loved throughout their stay! I do have 2 furry children (Chihuahua and Aussie) that get along with other dogs. We spend a lot of time outside playing ball and frisbee! We live on a farm and have plenty of land for them to run around! I will make sure they are comfortable and taken care of! My Chihuahua-Terrier “Charlie” was a rescue. He’s your typical “yappy” Chihuahua that I said I would never have but I couldn’t leave him homeless! My Aussie is energetic and is always looking for a playmate! Can’t wait to meet them! Our dogs are on a schedule but sometimes we spend more days outside than in depending on the weather. They will always be watched and never left alone! I live on over 3 acres and have a huge fenced in field where we go to play and potty! They have plenty of room to play and are always accompanied outside. We only crate if that is part of their routine. We are up early every morning (life of living on a farm!) Our Aussie loves to play until the sun goes down. Our animals typically eat the same time everyday. I feel it’s important to keep your animals on a consistent daily routine! I care for our guests the same as I care for my own dogs. They will be in a loving and calm household while they are here.

Abbi was very reliable, easy to communicate, most importantly; she took the time to make sure she understood the dog’s strict time sensitive medication schedule. She also provided lots of pictures and updates for every visit. My dog was very well cared for and loved while we were gone. 100% recommend Abbi!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Quinton with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
