“Kristina was a great communicator throughout the booking process and the drop in visit for my pup. She was on time for the meet and greet and the drop in visit. I received a thorough update and lots of pictures which is so nice when you’re counting on someone else to care for you pet. I would recommend her to anyone and look forward to booking her again!!”

“Cynthia was a great pup-sitter, and kept me well informed with pictures and updates! Sebastian tends to be anxious and he looked like he didn’t miss a beat of belly rubs, cuddles, walks and attention. She communicated all needs and changes in behavior during my time away! She was a great sitter!”

“Alexander was awesome! My silly, hyper pup warmed up to him well and he made sure my big oy was taken care of without any deviations from our routine. I will be planning on booking Alexander soon!”

About: Hi my name is Joyce and I love working with animals as I have many animals of my own. I have a pup, a baby hamster, a turtle and 2 fish. I love animals and I treat them like they are my children. My skills are walking my pup (this includes a nice walk, and picking up their feces with a plastic bag), bathing them when needed, feeding them and playing with them. I make sure my fish and turtle are fed and their tanks are cleaned and up to date. I also make sure my hamster is fed and his cage is cleaned and up to date. All other animals are treated the same with lots of loyalty, much respect and lots of love. I’m currently working part-time on the weekends, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups and show them all the attention they need! I Have two friendly pups that will keep your fur baby company! But if your dog don’t get along with other dogs I can keep them separated to make your fur baby is more comfortable. I’m currently working part-time. So I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pups and give them all the attention they need!! :) :) I have a nice size back yard and I also got a pup of my own that can keep your fur baby company! She’s very playful and If needed I can easily crate her.

About: Graduate Student at VCU with flexible summer hours ready to care for your animals. Hoping to get active this summer in various capacities to support your animals while you’re at work or on the go! I’ve been a lifelong pet owner with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I also have previous experience dog sitting and walking specifically dogs. I’ve trained my own cockapoo (who was definitely my soul dog), including basic commands and good behavior habits, and currently manage all care for a senior beagle/lab mix, including her vet visits, medications, and daily routines. I’m also experienced with cat care through shared custody of our cat, Judah with my roommate. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to offer consistent morning and afternoon availability for pet care. I prioritize reliability and clear communication, and I’m happy to work with families to find a routine that fits their needs. As I build long-term relationships, I’m open to expanding availability to best support both pets and their owners I tailor my approach based on each type of service I provide. During walks, I prioritize leash safety, awareness of surroundings, and your dog’s comfort with pace, weather, and other animals. For drop-in visits, I focus on maintaining your pet’s routine in a familiar environment—proper feeding, clean spaces, and attentive check-ins while respecting their home. For house sitting, I create a calm, consistent environment by following established routines, providing companionship, and keeping your home secure. Across all services, my priorities are clear communication, reliability, and building trust with both pets and their owners.
“This is our 1st experience using Rover as well as any professional dog sitting service. Let just say we're already locked in with Raye. She has great communication, as well as an amazing photographer.🤭 We recommend her for any services.”

“As always, Jeffrey knocked it out of the park. We always feel so comfortable and confident heading out of town knowing that our babies (and house) will be perfectly cared for. He really goes the extra mile for the pups and with general tasks around the house and we really appreciate it. Communication of all events, big or small, is quick and clear. I’ll recommend him forever to anyone!!”

“Bianca was excellent! She took excellent care of our cat, Chewy, while we were away. She was diligent in refilling food/water, scooping litter, and just spending some time loving on our girl. She had great communication throughout the whole process and sent us lots of pics of our little one! Highly highly recommend Bianca and will be rebooking with her in the future!”
“Kayley was able to step on last minute to watch my Nova for the weekend. While I attend a family funeral. Nova had the best time on their play dates & walks. Her updates were throughout, efficient and loving as always!”

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I also have an Australian Shepherd who can be pretty anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for both dogs and cats, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love getting outside and taking walks, and I’m very familiar with the Richmond area. I also worked as a house cleaner for two years, so I’m comfortable being in clients’ homes and understand the importance of being respectful, trustworthy, and reliable. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe and happy while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!
