I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and since meeting my husband in 2018, added two cats to the mix. I’m comfortable with all ages of pets and live in a central location in Richmond. About half of my week is working from home so I have some real flexibility to make drop in visits or take animals for walks. This is a new venture, but think it pairs nicely with my current routine and rhythms. I have a fenced in backyard, which is not very big however I live close to dog parks that are Pfingston as well. I also have Gates within my house to separate animals if needed.

Human-wise, she was always extremely punctual, quick to respond, communicated days when she wasn’t available well in advance, and took phenomenal pictures of my dogs. She also left great feedback from the day and noted any concerns she had if anything came up during her visits. Pet-wise, Ms. Julia was my dog’s FAVORITE visitor. The pictures tell it all, he was such a ham whenever she was there. She plays, hangs out, and gives all the scratchies. She loved on my senior gal, who needed so much help getting around, and was fun and energetic (even gifting a fun new laser toy when she discovered that my younger dog loved lasers) with my younger dog. She can handle anything!! Your dogs/pets will be in great care with Julia. She’s always my top choice!
Eddie was great! We booked him for a last minute drop-in visit for our puppy and he came out on very short notice the night before to meet him with us there. He sent pictures of his visit, communicated well through the process, and even brought in a delivery for us that was on the front steps when he arrived. We would definitely book him again!
Victoria is a fantastic petsitter. My dog and cats love her. She is a natural with animals. Victoria came several times a week to walk or let Louie out and play with him. They developed a great bond.
