About: I’ve had pets nearly my whole life and have been known to struggle to walk past an animal in need. This means rescuing an injured squirrel, a Cooper’s hawk, an opossum, and more, going the extra mile even when it was deeply inconvenient for me to do so. I also grew up attending zoo camp and then volunteering at a zoo from age 5 to 14, caring for a wide range of animals. I have worked with high energy pitties, a blind and anxious German shepherd, birds, cuddly kitties, fearful kitties, diabetic kitties, rabbits, and others. I have administered shots, IVs, medications, eye drops, and more. I am persistent and typically can win over even the shyest and most anxious fur baby. I have a genuine love for caring for pets and would be honored to care for yours! I am currently carefully thinking about my next full time role and working part time. My partner is an immigrant seeking employment during a time when that is extremely difficult due to the political situation. Any supplemental income is incredibly helpful for me as we navigate. I have a reliable vehicle, plenty of time to play with your pets, and love to love on them. I have a reliable car and I keep my word. I am communicative, honest, and truly love animals. I take direction well and understand that every pet has their specific needs. I don’t cut corners and do my best to provide top notch care, always.

About: I’ve taken care of friends’ dogs for years! I love meeting new dogs and creating bonds with them. At home, I have a senior dog who requires some extra care so am able to provide the same for your dog. I’m currently applying for jobs, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets! I’m available anytime of day that is convenient for you ! Aside from the basics of caring for your pet (feeding, water, walks, etc), I will spend some extra time playing and petting as needed to make sure they feel safe and happy!

About: I have had pets personally and cared for friends & neighbors pets for several years. My partner and I’s sweet fur baby Tito passed away this past September and I am looking to be around pets without the commitment of pet-parenthood again quite yet! I am self-employed with a non-traditional job so I have plenty of weekday and evening flexibility! My family lives in Richmond area so I also do not typically travel around holidays. About: I have had dogs, cats, rats, birds, etc. my entire life and there is not a critter in the world I don’t want to snuggle. No fear of reptiles, rodents, or insects either. I am working part time and am in self paced school to further my career so I have to plenty of time to give proper love and attention to your pet(s). I currently don’t provide pet sitting in my own home due to having two elderly cats with medical issues. They need calm, quiet, and a predictable schedule.

About: I have three dogs and two cats back home, all of whom typically fall under my care. I have experience dog, cat, and housesitting in both my hometown (Harrisonburg) and here in Richmond. I also volunteer at the Richmond SPCA for general socialization and cleanliness. I love animals dearly, but my roommates don’t want any pets in the apartment, so any help I can provide will also help me ;-) I’m a student at VCU with a solid course load, but a lot of free time in evenings, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I have a car and time between classes to let your animals out, take them on walks, or just check up on them. I rely heavily on your personal pet care instructions. I believe you care deeply for your animals and you know them best. I will keep areas clean and locked up, so you’ll barely know I was there!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have handled dogs as small as Pomeranians and as big as full grown pit bulls. I also have experience in caring for pups as young as 8 weeks and as old as 13 years. I currently work 9-5 until end of summer and spend the rest of my day with the pups. I go to the dog park almost daily. I wake up at 6/7am to feed the dogs let them out and have time with them before work. When I get back they eat dinner, go on a walk, and finish at a dog park before going home to relax. I have a privacy fenced in yard, lots of treats, two fur babies of my own who love to meet new friends and will keep your babies company. I allow dogs to be in the couch to enjoy comfort and snuggles if wanted. I also own a large crate for any pup to use if they need a space away to themselves.

About: I've been taking care of family pets since I was about 12, I've dealt with diapers, regular medicine intakes, and even potty training! I also have 2 doggies of my own a Lab/Australian Sheppard and a Rottweiler I am a part time Student at Virginia Commonwealth University studying Nuclear Medicine. I am mostly doing prerequisites so I will have plenty of time to hang with the doggos! My rottie, Gemma, was the first dog I ever had leash trouble with. It was getting too much for me to handle so I took her to a dog trainer. During those sessions I learned a lot about proper leash etiquette as a walker!

About: Since I've been a little girl I've had amazing furry companions this will help me make your pets's happiness mine, so I'll make sure they are always good to me. My availability on weekdays is from 6 in the Morning to 9AM and from 4PM to 8PM, on weekends I can do boarding until Sunday at noon. I will make sure that everything is perfect, that your pet is safe, clean and full of love, I will make sure that nothing is missing such as their favorite toys, that they are comfortable that they can spend happy and safe moments by my side.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was 10 years old and probably younger! I was always fascinated by animals and wanted to help my parents in anyway with our pets. I helped train all our dogs and trained my own dog all my own since she was a puppy. I’ve dealt with all the puppy stage antics to all the grumpy senior dogs! I’ve had cats for as long as I can remember and rescued my own cat a year ago. I know all about the troublesome kitten phases to the aloof senior kitties. I’ve had my own experience in giving medications to all ages of dogs and cats. I am also in school to be a licensed veterinary technician so I have some skills in that field as well. I’ve also owned all kinds of other animals from turtles, hamsters, Guinea pigs and mice to fish and rabbits and reptiles as well. I really just love all animals and would treat your pets as my own! I currently only work on the weekends so I have plenty of time to visit and walk pups of all kinds or go play and check on kitties or other animals all throughout the week! I do online classes so I have no problem bringing my laptop with me to stay and take care of your pets! Since I work on weekends usually long days I can do house sitting but I would have to leave very early Saturday mornings. As for Sundays I can start housesitting most Sunday evenings depending on my schedule! My pets in my home are very spoiled and loved. I have a 3 year old cat and at home with my parents are my 2 family dogs who I helped raise and 2 turtles!
