About: Not only have I owned and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, I've also fostered at the Richmond SPCA, RACC, and Sanctuary Rescue for a cumulative 13+ years. I'm highly experienced in animal behavior, nutrition, and medical needs. I do know animal CPR and I have no issue administering meds. I love animals and I am extremely familiar with their behavior. Please contact me to care for your pets so you can be stress free! I work from home which allows me to make my own hours and I can drop in any time past 9am. I am also used to pets with medical issues and can come over whenever needed to issue medicine. I keep a tidy house with many rescue cats and dogs. We have numerous litter boxes that are scooped or cleaned daily. People who come to my house are always shocked that I have cats. My dogs are kept as part of the family and have a large back yard to run around in.

I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. Human-wise, she was always extremely punctual, quick to respond, communicated days when she wasn’t available well in advance, and took phenomenal pictures of my dogs. She also left great feedback from the day and noted any concerns she had if anything came up during her visits. Pet-wise, Ms. Julia was my dog’s FAVORITE visitor. The pictures tell it all, he was such a ham whenever she was there. She plays, hangs out, and gives all the scratchies. She loved on my senior gal, who needed so much help getting around, and was fun and energetic (even gifting a fun new laser toy when she discovered that my younger dog loved lasers) with my younger dog. She can handle anything!! Your dogs/pets will be in great care with Julia. She’s always my top choice!
Eddie was great! We booked him for a last minute drop-in visit for our puppy and he came out on very short notice the night before to meet him with us there. He sent pictures of his visit, communicated well through the process, and even brought in a delivery for us that was on the front steps when he arrived. We would definitely book him again!
Victoria is a fantastic petsitter. My dog and cats love her. She is a natural with animals. Victoria came several times a week to walk or let Louie out and play with him. They developed a great bond. I have also used Victoria for weekend drop-in visits while we were gone. She truly is the best! I highly recommend her.
