About: Hi everyone! My name is Allison, and I am currently a student at UMW home for summer break. I’m looking forward to spending time with pets while also enjoying a fun side hustle doing something I truly love. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have full responsibility for my dog, Cooper, a Goldendoodle. I also have three Maine Coon cats who keep life entertaining! This summer, I will continue regularly walking my neighbor’s dogs, something I’ve been doing for about two years now. Animals bring me so much joy, and I genuinely love being around and caring for pets of all kinds. I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family members and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I’m a college student at home, working a part-time serving job. I have lots of free time to spend with y’all’s pets! I’m patient, caring, and love giving pets the attention they deserve. I plan to visit people’s homes to walk their dogs and stay if needed. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life of all sizes. I grew up with a great pyranees/ border collie and have a dog of my own who is a dachshund. I dog sat for my neighbor, friends, and relatives frequently. I also have experience in sitting for cats as well. I can also help your dog learn new tricks! I taught my dog how to sit, stay, lay down, paw, roll over, follow, and wait all within 6 months. I’m a teacher, so my summers are free to help you out with your pups! I am happy to check in, walk, or play with your pet when needed. About: Not only have I owned and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, I've also fostered at the Richmond SPCA, RACC, and Sanctuary Rescue for a cumulative 13+ years. I'm highly experienced in animal behavior, nutrition, and medical needs. I do know animal CPR and I have no issue administering meds. I love animals and I am extremely familiar with their behavior. Please contact me to care for your pets so you can be stress free! I work from home which allows me to make my own hours and I can drop in any time past 9am. I am also used to pets with medical issues and can come over whenever needed to issue medicine. I keep a tidy house with many rescue cats and dogs. We have numerous litter boxes that are scooped or cleaned daily. People who come to my house are always shocked that I have cats. My dogs are kept as part of the family and have a large back yard to run around in.

I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own.
