About: In my first summer out of college (where I studied hospitality and business mgmt @ JMU), I fancied myself an entrepreneur and started a dog walking service in my apartment building at home. I had a great time meeting my neighbors and felt much more connected to the community. Unfortunately, Perky Paws (the name of my business haha) only lasted the one summer as I began working at a hotel in my college town and stayed there for the next few years. Since college I have house sat for friends and through river, volunteered at animal shelters, and have a few of my own pets at home. I work for the city of Richmond and go into the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I work remotely Thursdays and Fridays so would be home with your four legged family all day those days!
