Hi, I’m Amanda! My pet care style is all about warmth, comfort, and creating a calm, reassuring space, especially for senior dogs and pups who struggle with anxiety or uncertainty. I move at their pace, follow their routines closely, and make sure they always feel safe, understood, and cared for. I have years of experience supporting older dogs with mobility changes, medications, special diets, and the gentle patience they deserve. I’m also very tuned in to anxious dogs—reading their body language, offering soft reassurance, and building trust through quiet companionship and predictable routines. With me, your dog gets cozy naps, slow sniff walks, soothing attention, and a sitter who truly listens to what they need. I provide frequent updates, plenty of photos, and thoughtful care every step of the way so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. My goal is simple: to make your senior or anxious pup feel safe, loved, and right at home.

Amanda is a true pup lover. My dog has anxiety when he leaves home, and usually won't eat or play while I am gone. Amanda's calm disposition and pup friendly home was all it took for him to be comfortable. She had him eating like normal on day one, and living his best pup life with his 2 new best friends. Thank you so much!! Would definitely recommend for anyone whose pup struggles when they leave home!
Delilah was very well taken care of by Amanda! She even came out to be brushed and petted … Delilah has very discriminating tastes and doesn’t let just anybody pet her !
Amanda was amazing! She took great care of my dog and cat ensuring I got daily pictures and updates for how they were doing. She followed all my instructions for my dog who has arthritis. I will definitely use her again!
I knew I liked Amanda as soon as she came over to meet our senior dogs before our booking. All 3 responded to her so beautifully. She was communicative and sent pics every day. She was reassuring and calm when one of them had an upset stomach. I highly recommend her to anyone but especially any that has a dog that needs some extra attention. She's awesome!

Amanda was a great sitter, and I really appreciate that she was available to sit for me pretty last minute when she'd never met us before. She was happy to arrange a meet and greet for the next day and she quickly impressed both the cat and dog and myself (impressing the cat was particularly noteworthy!). She was always quick to respond, very responsible, and happy to use the reference document she was given. I'd would absolutely be interested in having her sit for us again.

Schedule
I am currently working part-time remotely with very flexible hours, so my schedule can work around the any of the needs of the pets I’m caring for.

I have a large fenced in yard (see pictures) and am happy to open my home to pets. We have space in the home to keep all pets safe and separated if preferred or they can spend time with my pets if desired. I will gladly adhere to whatever schedule your pet is used to in order to keep them comfortable and stress-free.

A typical day
A typical day for a pet I am caring for is filled with enrichment, affection, and routine. Depending on the pet’s energy level, we can take a nice long walk at one of the local parks, or I can take them to a designated Sniffspot so they can follow their nose and stretch their legs as much as they’d like. Any day in my care will include a good balance of interaction and cozy time for decompression. As always, I’ll stick to the routine they are most used to in order to keep everyone safe, happy, and reassured.
