Hi, I’m Amanda! My pet care style is all about warmth, comfort, and creating a calm, reassuring space, especially for senior dogs and pups who struggle with anxiety or uncertainty. I move at their pace, follow their routines closely, and make sure they always feel safe, understood, and cared for. I have years of experience supporting older dogs with mobility changes, medications, special diets, and the gentle patience they deserve. I’m also very tuned in to anxious dogs—reading their body language, offering soft reassurance, and building trust through quiet companionship and predictable routines. With me, your dog gets cozy naps, slow sniff walks, soothing attention, and a sitter who truly listens to what they need. I provide frequent updates, plenty of photos, and thoughtful care every step of the way so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. My goal is simple: to make your senior or anxious pup feel safe, loved, and right at home.

We had such a great experience! She came over ahead of time to meet Duke, Winnie, and Green Bean, and immediately made us feel comfortable leaving them in her care. She was so kind, patient, and attentive with all three of our dogs and treated them like they were her own. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously. We felt completely at ease knowing our pups were being well cared for. We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again!
Amanda was amazing. Couldn’t ask for better person to leave our little Scarlet with. Scarlet didn’t want to eat so Amanda shared her dinner with her. Scarlet got lonely at night so Amanda slept beside her on the couch. She treated Scarlet like part of the family. Will definitely use her every time we get away.
Holly cannot wait until she for the days Amanda comes. She loves her “fren”!
Frank had such a great time with Amanda! She was incredibly communicative throughout his stay and kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, which we really appreciated. It was so nice being able to see how happy and comfortable he was while we were away. Frank clearly loved his time with her and, honestly, didn’t want to leave when it was time to come home! Amanda took great care of him, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter. We will definitely be booking with Amanda again!
Willow is completely at ease with Amanda. Amanda does a fantastic job keeping me informed about Willow’s health, activities, and interactions with their family. I have already rebooked. I have and will change plans if Amanda is not available.
Amanda is such a sweetheart and is very flexible with last minute bookings! She is very responsive and takes deep care of the fur babies. Amanda has been a tremendous help to me during a family emergency and always sends me an update to let me know how the visits went! 10/10 recommend!!!

I am currently working part-time remotely with very flexible hours, so my schedule can work around any of the needs of the pets I’m caring for.

I have a large fenced in yard (see pictures) and am happy to open my home to pets. We have space in the home to keep all pets safe and separated if preferred or they can spend time with my pets if desired. I will gladly adhere to whatever schedule your pet is used to in order to keep them comfortable and stress-free.

A typical day
A typical day for a pet I am caring for is filled with enrichment, affection, and routine. Depending on the pet’s energy level, we can take a nice long walk at one of the local parks, or I can take them to a designated Sniffspot so they can follow their nose and stretch their legs as much as they’d like. Any day in my care will include a good balance of interaction and cozy time for decompression. As always, I’ll stick to the routine they are most used to in order to keep everyone safe, happy, and reassured.
