Hi, I’m Amanda! My pet care style is all about warmth, comfort, and creating a calm, reassuring space, especially for senior dogs and pups who struggle with anxiety or uncertainty. I move at their pace, follow their routines closely, and make sure they always feel safe, understood, and cared for. I have years of experience supporting older dogs with mobility changes, medications, special diets, and the gentle patience they deserve. I’m also very tuned in to anxious dogs—reading their body language, offering soft reassurance, and building trust through quiet companionship and predictable routines. With me, your dog gets cozy naps, slow sniff walks, soothing attention, and a sitter who truly listens to what they need. I provide frequent updates, plenty of photos, and thoughtful care every step of the way so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. My goal is simple: to make your senior or anxious pup feel safe, loved, and right at home.

Amanda did a fantastic job with Willow. I was impressed with Amanda’s follow up. I received pictures multiple times a day. She understands that Willow is my world. She made sure that I knew that Willow was eating interacting with the other dogs and comfortable where she was. Not only will I rebook with Amanda. I already have.

Well, well, didn’t we just find the perfect lover of dogs, even the crazy and energetic ones like ours? Amanda was perfect with our crew, sending pictures and updates and making sure they always had fun and got snuggles while we were away. I think the dogs are ready for us to head out of town again so that Miss Amanda will come back to play! (And we will be soon, boys!)

Amanda is a true pup lover. My dog has anxiety when he leaves home, and usually won't eat or play while I am gone. Amanda's calm disposition and pup friendly home was all it took for him to be comfortable. She had him eating like normal on day one, and living his best pup life with his 2 new best friends. Thank you so much!! Would definitely recommend for anyone whose pup struggles when they leave home!

Schedule
I am currently working part-time remotely with very flexible hours, so my schedule can work around the any of the needs of the pets I’m caring for.

I have a large fenced in yard (see pictures) and am happy to open my home to pets. We have space in the home to keep all pets safe and separated if preferred or they can spend time with my pets if desired. I will gladly adhere to whatever schedule your pet is used to in order to keep them comfortable and stress-free.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day for a pet I am caring for is filled with enrichment, affection, and routine. Depending on the pet’s energy level, we can take a nice long walk at one of the local parks, or I can take them to a designated Sniffspot so they can follow their nose and stretch their legs as much as they’d like. Any day in my care will include a good balance of interaction and cozy time for decompression. As always, I’ll stick to the routine they are most used to in order to keep everyone safe, happy, and reassured.
