I diligently follow all instructions to ensure continuity of care and training while spending quality time closely monitoring pets. We go outside together to exercise and have some fun. I am very in tune with pet behaviors enabling me to recognize and address changes. I am also very experienced administering a variety of medications and special diets/feeding so meeting special needs is not a problem. From puppies to seniors, and everywhere in between, I understand how to meet needs based on each animals stage in their lives. What is a typical day -- i.e., what/when do they eat, are there medications to administer, any behavioral issues to watch out for and redirect, do they like to play, prefer just to chill, are they a cuddler, do they sleep in bed, are they allowed on furniture -- I want to know it all.
A typical day
I love to find what makes each pet happiest and actively fills their time and stimulates their brains. Usually, that includes play time, cuddle time, enjoying time outdoors and relaxing if that's what they need. Sometimes, just sitting with them at the park watching the world go by is exactly what a senior or special needs animal needs to make them smile.

Pet care experience
I was born an animal lover and have enriched my lifelong passion with many furry family members and friends. Neighbors, family and friends have repeatedly entrusted me with their pets to care for them in their absence. I have decades of experience caring for and training a wide variety of animals, big and small - from gerbils to horses and nearly everything in between. I have raised, shown and trained dogs of many sizes and personalities. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds and enjoy getting to know every dog I meet. My background and interactions with your pets will help you to feel comfortable knowing I'll continue to care for them in the same manner as you with the same love as if they are my own.

Phyllis is incredible. She goes above and beyond for caring for my 3 kitties whenever we have to be away from home. She truly treats my babies like her own and also gives updates on things around my home during the drop-ins (if a package came, etc), so that I feel totally secure during my time away. She is truly the best, and I will always reach out to her when I have to be away. Don't hesitate to book her! She is a true gem!
