About: Dogs have been in my world for 40+ years. I rescued Rotties for most of that time. Most Rescued Rotts come with major needs. I welcomed all. The last one couldn't walk without me for 6 years. No one else was allowed to take care of her . In last 2 years, I've been caring for friends retrievers while working (potty breaks and overnights) I work from home M-F running a business. Weekends are not available as those are show dates. Very flexible schedule, last minute drop off in needed. Bowls/dishes provided. Large backyard with a brand new 6 foot wooden fence. House is a rancher so no steps to be concerned with. Lots of play/activity time I need to fulfill my emptiness of putting my "Brandi" Down.

About: I've grown up with cats and dogs and currently am the proud dog mom of a German Shepherd and a Belgian Malinois. I love all sizes and shapes of pets and am comfortable teaching basic obedience, caring for senior pets and providing medication, as well as the day to day routines of walks, baths, and playtimes! As an animal lover with an active lifestyle, I’d love to help fill in for you by walking your dog or getting some play time in with your pets at home. I have a full time job with a rotating schedule, and typically that means I’m available in the later afternoon. Sometimes I’m free as early as 12pm, sometimes as late as 4pm. I have plenty of experience pet sitting in your pet’s natural habitat; home visits are no issue for me, and I think it’s the best way to ensure that your animals are as comfortable as can be while you’re away.

About: I have a lot of knowledge with most exotics as well, I’m happy to help with any bird, turtles/tortoise, fish, snake, any lizard, monkeys, any rodent, rabbit, chicken, horses, pigs, cow, goats and sheep. I’ve taken care of animals my entire life. I also work with The Wildlife Center and do some small animal rehabilitation. I currently have 2 dogs and one fish. I’ve recently fostered 3 tortoises, a senior dog and a bearded dragon. I am able to do some puppy training and very knowledgeable in senior care for dogs and cats. I am currently a stay at home mom and my kids are in school full time. I have my real estate license as well as degree in pharmacology but I’d much rather work with animals at my own pace. I have a decent sized fully fenced in backyard. I am also able to crate your animals if that is something that is preferred. My dogs are extremely sweet and love to play with all of their dog friends that come to visit. They are up to date on all vaccines and my house is very clean but pet friendly. My couch is big enough for all the pups and people here.

About: For 30 plus years I had my own dogs from Rottweilers to peekapoos. Always had two so they had a buddy. Well trained where I didn’t need a leash. I babysit my friends dogs here at the house. I’m auntie. They go home spoiled. I travel a lot so, when my dog passed away I did not get another one. I work from home. I am empty nester who just went through a divorce. They can hangout with me all day. Ability to leave on the weekend to come back as required. Full fenced in yard. Traditional metal fence. With only two neighbors who have no animals. Quite neighborhood with a place to walk them around ponds.

About: I promise you trust, communication, comfortability, and great care! I love pets! I grew up with a Golden Retriever named Skippy! I now own my beautiful mut mix of Lab, Pit and Blood Hound. His name is Maverick! He's 2 and such a loving, happy dude! I currently dog sit my mom's 3 Boston Terriors whenever she needs to go out of town and have been since I was a teenager. I also take in my best friend's older pit bull, Cookie, and her and Maverick get along wonderfully! There's plenty of space to walk dogs around my apartment community, along with a fenced in tennis court area where they can run free! I work full time AT HOME so I'm flexible just looking to make some extra money I work from home Monday through Friday, and am available most weekends, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for your doggos! I live in an apartment but it's very dog friendly! I will ensure your dog gets lots of attention and love! I have access to lots of trails, open pet areas, and a fenced in tennis court where they can run free and we can play fetch! My dog is very friendly and has lots of experience around other dogs. I do have a large dog crate if that is required or necessary.

About: Hello there! I absolutely adore animals. I spent 3 years at the SPCA, working directly with the animals and fostering. My friends and I started our own rescue, SFC Virginia Animal Rescue. I know how hard it is to trust your dog is in good hands, and to feel happy, and safe. I love snapping photos and sharing with you all that me and your fur baby do during our visit, (and not afraid to inspect poop to ensure your pet is healthy and report when a concern.) My dogs have been through various trainings and would be happy to share my knowledge while I spend time with your pet. I have over 5 years experience with pets with medical needs varying from administering sub-q fluids to medications to inhalers for the cat-kiddos. My girl has hypo-thyroid and has to take a pill twice a day. With my experience with medically-needy animals I am hyper aware of the smallest changes in behaviors in a short period of time and can offer varying tricks with administering for the ones who aren’t big fans. Side note: I do have travel minute limit, for those east of 95, that is within the time limit if the $5ish toll is taken, otherwise it would take over 30 mins. If you are okay with an additional charge of $6 to cover toll, I will be more than happy to assist! I work from home so I get a lot of quality time with my babies. Where I see opportunities to train, I take advantage. Training is a daily on going activity. My animals eat twice a day on snuffle mats with a kibble and veggie/fruit medley. In short, pet care is part of my routine. When hired to do check-ins I like to spend my first time with the pet observing knowing I’m a stranger and I want to not overwhelm. I will read the vibes and either interact more or keep a distance depending on their body language and how they are reacting to me. I know pets sometimes have a tendency to be more reserved or hesitant to do their normal activities. I try to connect and bond during this time as well with treats (if provided) and positive quiet communication.
