About: I've been dog sitting since covid; things have changed but not the love for animals. Since my start I've dog sat for a wide varity of dogs. Puppies, oldies, big, small. Some requiring a lot of attention to help distract them, some that just sit by the door waiting for their pawrents to come home. From medications to special diets, specific schedules and give attention if you have the extra time. I will treat your dog as my own! Something you can count on is they will be loved and well taken care of. Pet care is my top priority. Making sure they are fed on time and they get plenty of play time and walks while you are gone. I do currently work but my schedule is constantly changing so I have a lot of freedom to change it as needed. I unfortunately can't accept pets into my home as I don't currently live alone. But I'm more than willing to stay over whenever you need me to.

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family for the past four years, in addition to caring for my own pets throughout my life. My previous dog, a Yorkie, gave me experience caring for a senior pet, including administering eye drops, following medication schedules, and managing a special diet. My current dog, Bella, is a 10-month-old AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy graduate who has taught me plenty about keeping up with energetic young dogs! I also share my home with two friendly, affectionate senior cats, so I’m comfortable caring for pets of different ages and temperaments. I work Sunday through Wednesday, so my Thursdays through Saturdays are completely dedicated to your pup! My black Labrador, Bella, and I typically walk 1–2 miles three times a day. On hotter days, we switch to indoor enrichment and training games instead of long walks. Whether your dog loves an adventure or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to tailor their stay to their individual needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for my home and Bella, and I always recommend a meet-and-greet beforehand. Whether I’m boarding, dropping in for a visit, or taking your pup on a walk, I’ll follow their normal routine and tailor my care to their energy level and needs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

About: I have a lot of knowledge with most exotics as well, I’m happy to help with any bird, turtles/tortoise, fish, snake, any lizard, monkeys, any rodent, rabbit, chicken, horses, pigs, cow, goats and sheep. I’ve taken care of animals my entire life. I also work with The Wildlife Center and do some small animal rehabilitation. I currently have 2 dogs and one fish. I’ve recently fostered 3 tortoises, a senior dog and a bearded dragon. I am able to do some puppy training and very knowledgeable in senior care for dogs and cats. I am currently a stay at home mom and my kids are in school full time. I have my real estate license as well as degree in pharmacology but I’d much rather work with animals at my own pace. I have a decent sized fully fenced in backyard. I am also able to crate your animals if that is something that is preferred. My dogs are extremely sweet and love to play with all of their dog friends that come to visit. They are up to date on all vaccines and my house is very clean but pet friendly. My couch is big enough for all the pups and people here.

About: I'm a current owner of a 5 year old Dutch rabbit which is friendly with dogs and other animals. I allow dogs on the bed to endure lovely cuddles! I also speak American sign Language who are in need of an interpreter! Daily routine: Early morning potty time/ Breakfast Time 6:00-7:00am Playtime/Snack Time/Potty time as well 12:30-2:00pm Second Potty Break 2:00-7:30pm Dinnertime 7:00-8:00pm Final Potty Break 9:00-10:00pm I would care of your furry baby going out for long walks, taking trips to my locate park, and trips to my local Starbucks for a pup cup!

About: I love dogs, they are my favorite people. All shapes and sizes, whenever I spend time with them, they just make my heart happy. When they’re with me they’ll be taken good care of. Whether it’s long walks, games of tug of war, endless belly rubs, and lots of cuddles. I will love your pet as if they were my own. In addition to raising two dogs of my own, I’ve cared for friends and neighbors’ pets while they’re at work or away. I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind whether it’s while you’re at work or on vacation but when they’re with me you won’t have to worry because they’ll be well cared for and loved. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm but only live 5 minutes from my work. I am able to go home midday and have evening and weekends free to spend lots of time with your fur babies. I make sure that they will remain on they’re regular feedings and pawty schedules and are free to run the apartment if no need to crate. My apartment provides a fenced in yard for them to have safe and fun outdoor time. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. About: Hello there! I absolutely adore animals. I spent 3 years at the SPCA, working directly with the animals and fostering. My friends and I started our own rescue, SFC Virginia Animal Rescue. I know how hard it is to trust your dog is in good hands, and to feel happy, and safe. I love snapping photos and sharing with you all that me and your fur baby do during our visit, (and not afraid to inspect poop to ensure your pet is healthy and report when a concern.) My dogs have been through various trainings and would be happy to share my knowledge while I spend time with your pet. I have over 5 years experience with pets with medical needs varying from administering sub-q fluids to medications to inhalers for the cat-kiddos. My girl has hypo-thyroid and has to take a pill twice a day. With my experience with medically-needy animals I am hyper aware of the smallest changes in behaviors in a short period of time and can offer varying tricks with administering for the ones who aren’t big fans. Side note: I do have travel minute limit, for those east of 95, that is within the time limit if the $5ish toll is taken, otherwise it would take over 30 mins. If you are okay with an additional charge of $6 to cover toll, I will be more than happy to assist! I work from home so I get a lot of quality time with my babies. Where I see opportunities to train, I take advantage. Training is a daily on going activity. My animals eat twice a day on snuffle mats with a kibble and veggie/fruit medley. In short, pet care is part of my routine. When hired to do check-ins I like to spend my first time with the pet observing knowing I’m a stranger and I want to not overwhelm. I will read the vibes and either interact more or keep a distance depending on their body language and how they are reacting to me. I know pets sometimes have a tendency to be more reserved or hesitant to do their normal activities. I try to connect and bond during this time as well with treats (if provided) and positive quiet communication.
